The sound of bells ringing in this music genuinely scares the shit out of me. This version should've stayed in the game if it was taken out. I haven't played the game.
In RPG Maker 2003 (the engine used to make the game) you can change the speed of the music and sound effects. here is the in-game version: ua-cam.com/video/iJFSrlpcFUI/v-deo.html
@@marioandtyler I know you can change the speed and pitch. I just think this is superior over the in-game version. In fact if I make a survival horror game there's gonna be a track that has a repetitive bell ring.
Honestly... I don't know but the fact the real-speed version is so traumatizing but is never heard somehow works Like, this place represents such a traumatic experience for poor Madotsuki, the real speed version likely being what she felt during the real world event that inspired this place, and the one we hear being nothing but an attempt to repress the memory Seriously, the fact it's unused scares me even more, even *she* fears it
This is the world that scares me most of Yume Nikki. The door itself sounds louder, there's the zipper imagery here, leading into Kyu Kyu Kun's infamous shape and the FACE event that transpires too, not to mention the song itself is filtered, with the real speed version of this song being fast paced and completely rapid. Something happened to her. Something happened to her relating to this world, this is where her trauma is located.
This song really hits different when it’s the normal speed

This actually sounds so nice what
Interestingly, on the Yume Nikki wiki, this song has the correct pitch of the in-game version, but it has the same speed as this one.
not anymore!
@@marioandtyler I checked and it still is. Maybe you're on another Yume Nikki wiki?
@@Tokuto-kun I uploaded a new version of this file: yumenikki.fandom.com/wiki/File:BGM_025-50.ogg does it work for you?
@@marioandtyler Ah it plays the normal in-game version for me now. Thanks!
I swear this version of the song is really hard to find thanks for uploading this
I got mt ex to play Yume Nikki. She went to the number world, got weirded out, and never played again.
What a story, mark

When you realise there could be something in the beds in number world
Does this sample something? It kind of sounds like it does.
Sounds like distorted school bells
*How is this original!!!! This is just a sped up version of in game*
This is what the original music file sounds like, in the game it is slowed down, so it is the opposite of what ur saying.
