Thanks Alec sensei for the helpful tips.
Thank you for another excellent instructional video! There are moments where I am caught flat-footed or hesitating and training to mitigate those situations is helpful. Like Bennet said, this isn't ideal, but if it keeps you unstruck or in a better position than panicked blocking that's a step in the right direction!
Thank you for the video. I look forward to more instruction and knowledge.
Nice Tip Sensei ! 👍👍
Okay so whats the counter to Osae-waza?
Basics are universal I guess. In striking arts you call this 'maintaining the center line'
AaaaaaAAAHHHHAAAAA
YAAAAASSSAAAAAAAAA
lol these screams are too hilarious and necessary at the same time.
Necessary for honing Kiai?
@@andrewrodriguez7310 yes
@@outboundflight4455 I see. One time I was practicing aikido with a friend of mine when he let out this extremely loud and unpredictable kiai. It literally pierced through my entire being and I froze, while clutching my chest. lol
@@andrewrodriguez7310 Kiai is meant to be a form of both breath control and intimidating the enemy psychologically. Having proper kiai helps on many ways. Try it out and breath from the stomach and release your kiai but from the deepest part of your stomach or Tandem.
