"We are not a results oriented group, we're a process oriented group." Explains the recovery from the Michigan game. I imagine this expresses the importance of The Game if the loss of it doesn't change the goal.
Agree, it impacts some but not all of our goals 👉🏽 Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and CFP Championship 2025. Former athlete @ The OSU - TTUN altered the rivalry the moment they DISHONORED the rivalry for personal gain 👉🏽 cheating scandal, disregard of sportsmanship, immunity clause, escape to NFL to avoid accountability, contract clauses to avoid accountability, NCAA investigation delays, etc. KEY: The TRADITION of the rivalry and the game with TTUN was always bigger than the ego /desperation of a few coaches. Every game is now “The Game” Go Bucks 🅾️🙌🏽🙏🏽🅾️
@ I feel like the landscape is changing so fast. It is quickly losing the nuance it had. With the kids being paid and the transfer portal allowing such mixing - being part of the OSU/TTUN rivalry is naturally going to change. Kids come in with no ties to the rivalry, and with business on their mind. Coaches are forced to grapple with the idea that getting the blood thirst for Michigan out of the players isn’t going to be the same. At some point - the business it is has to have the right priorities for winning the title, as the TTUN game will invariably lose its credence in this system. At any rate - it seems the next version of The Game is looking like a very heated contest. TTUN trying to attack their ranks with more NIL, and Ohio State finding a formula, and feeling pressure.
If Jeremiah smith and the Buckeyes go to the Natty, then he makes a big impact in that game as well against more than likely Notre Dame.. this kid is about to really be the best freshman everr and that will be hard to beat
If OSU can score over 35 points against Texas, I will be ready to recommend Chip Kelly for OC of the year ! If OSU scores over 45 points, I'm ready to treat him to Texas Roadhouse steak dinner, or Roosters, whichever he prefers. 🍛
