"she's standing right next to you" that has to be one of the greatest movie quotes ever
"If you were in your office right now we'd be having this conversation face to face"
"Get some rest Pam, you look tired."
"Jesus Christ,...That's Jason Bourne" line is the best
Yes, the most badass line in the film history... :D
I think it's the most bad-ass moment in all his movies...
This series helped completely revolutionize action film storytelling and character development. Shout out to Matt Damon for his incredible performances.
Agreed. But now to modern technology lots of the films don't feel the same as the film series Jason bourne. Sad nostalgia.
Lots of credit to directors Doug Liman and Paul Greengrass. They kept their ships tight and clean.
@@lesevesel2898 if liman didn't pull a tyrant director mode in the first film, he could have directed the entire trilogy
@@inigobantok1579 the studio was not happy with him "I lost my baby" he said
It completely did what James Bond movies could never do! Not get the hot chicks! They all die! JAMES BOND GETS laid!
"That's easy, she's standing right next to you."
"Get some rest Pam, You look tired."
"I don't think so... Because if you were in your office, we'd be having this conversation face to face"
Jason Bourne sure can make memorable phone calls!
If Jason bourne is calling u he can see u. Period
even for a movie, this depict clearly how skillful an operative personnel on the ground can be, utilizing his/her resourcefulness, compared to following procedural text-book approach.

Plus... Mistakes? They don't make mistakes! Who's giving him orders? Scary version....HIM!!!
Yes he can
Love these kinda scenes...that turn of the tables and how scared or panicked they get when they realise they are being watched by someone they are hunting, the irony is awesome...they think they are safe and anonymous, hidden in their offices and surveillance rooms spying from the shadows and then boom they suddenly realise they're exposed and vulnerable.
In fact, all of them vulnerable the moment they leave the office.
Their play dumb by the window fetish routine is getting old
Exactly !
very good conmenr
Bourne chose to stay hidden .
He felt better that way .
"Get some rest Pam, you look tired."

@@teemer1282 But both are similar
- I'm in my office
- No you're not, because if you were, we would be having this conversation face to face
😂 She got bamoozled twice by Bourne. 😂
If you watch the whole clip closely, Jason Bourne connects at 0:09 and hangs up precisely at 1:39 which is exactly within the 90 seconds time limit before CIA can find his exact location. And he does it with style by giving them direct hints to where he was standing. Epic precision.
Attention to detail is amazing
Wow i never noticed this. :D
Your reply took 63 seconds to type. I'm impressed ♠️
Unfortunately that's not an actual thing. LOL Though tbf if this is adapted from a Ludlum book, perhaps it was at the time.
@@mikeg6606 It may not be a thing irl regardless of the time this was set, but it was a thing for this scene(universe)
At 00:13 you hear someone say "90 seconds to triangulate his position"
This one, "get some rest Pam, you look tired", and "if you were in your office right now, we'd be having this conversation face to face" are the most badass scenes in the entire trilogy.
@Steve Ross maybe he wanted them to know
@Steve Ross only the "...having this conversation face to face" give him away directly. In all instances it's about getting in their heads. Also, it's just a movie.
Those were for audience amusement only. In real life why would an operative give away his position. In Bourne 3, he told landy get some rest u look tired, that was deliberate to lure the Blackbriar agents out in the field, that's understood but the rest like if you're in your office then we'll be having this conversation face to face, all this are just for audience amusement.
I like the last one the most because he wasn't looking at him from afar, he was in the fucking CIA building right next to the very people hunting him and they were clueless and still he was like "Yep, I'm here". Cold blooded.
Could be the badass phrases, but scenes of course is the fight with Desh… no doubt
He's got amnesia and he's still 10 steps ahead of them.
Imagine a prime Jason Bourne.. gg
Amnesia to his real identity, but he did not lose his trained abilities.
No difference.
He doesn’t know who he is. But he knows what he is and what he needs to do and how to do it.
That reflects how well he has trained himself in JSOC.
@@riyanazhar9086 during his early recovery, he didn't even know he has those abilities.

I could watch this a million times in a row and get goosebumps EVERY time.
i love the look of horror on nicky parsons face she knows the kind of person bourne is was /is the apex predator at the top of his game
@@leejee88 YES!! Such a powerful scene.
As many good scenes as there are in the Bourne movies, this one is my favorite. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Thanks god Jason Bourne doesn't have any kids, I mean it would have been nearly impossible for them to lie on phone about where they were or what they were doing....
Bourne: Alicia, where are you?
Alicia(Bourne's daughter): I'm in my friend's house studying...
Bourne: I doubt that...
Alicia: ....
Bourne: If you had been studying all this time, there wouldn't be any beer involved...
Alicia: *panics and looks out the window*
He has two kids with Marie in the books
😆
Too bad Marie died
Son, put Melissa on the line.
Dad.... what if I can’t find her?
It’s easy. She’s on top of you.
Nikki's face when Bourne wants her to bring him in alone was priceless.
"What if I can't find her?"
"It's easy - she's standing right next to you."
Trademark Bourne. Love these movies.
Who's handling the mission
😂😂😂 favourite thing about the bourne films
Thanks I can turn the sound off and just read your comment instead
Hopefully the movie Continues, aive heard of new signinge ...
Jason Bourne: Guess you really don't understand my messages after all
The bourne films are total class, i love all 4 of them cant wait for the 5th one....and that scene what if i cant find her ''shes standing right by you'' is awesome...makes me laugh at their astonishment ...just utter brilliance...my fave films of all time
all 4? Damn, the fourth one was less bourne and more boring. xD
Legacy is actually really good. Not Matt Damon good, but still good.
Legacy is a very good film. The latest one Jason Bourne'' is Epic
I'm not much of a fan of Legacy, but the new film was surprisingly very good for a reboot.
I would say that legacy was a spin off
"She's standing right next to you"
And just like they all felt a chill crawl up their spine as they realize they got played
Nearly as good as -
"I'm in my office"
"I seriously doubt that"
"Why"?
"Because if you were, we'd be having this conversation face to face".
Superb acting
Superb editing
Superb script
Superb story
Superb presentation of Jason Bourne..
ALL IN THIS TRILOGY IS SUPERB
I've watched this movie a dozen times and every time he says, "She's standing right next to you", I bust a gut laughing.
The moment they realized that a highly trained killer can see their every move
One of my most favorite moments in all movies I have seen. It is there with “If you were in your office, we would have this conversation face to face” in the next movie
Bourne can’t be stopped. Can’t be tracked. He is there and nowhere at the same time
And Nikki's small smile at the newscast indicating no body was found for Bourne :D
The agency created a virtual revenant, a vengeful ghost. But they just couldn't let him rest in peace.
Much is said here of Damon’s fine acting, but Joan Allen’s was equally impressive. She played it perfectly. He was one step ahead, always, but her quiet command coupled with slight nervousness was perfect-she was no pussycat. She was a force.
He pulled that exact move at least three times and it always surprised them. First thing you'd do if you got a call from Jason Bourne is look around cos he's probably watching you
Lmao
Look around where exactly, genius? It's not like he's hiding behind a desk.
"She's standing right next to you" That's badass dude... It's 2021 and still loving it
she's standing right next to you lmfao
The agency stablished they need 90 seconds to locate him. He does the scene in 89.
Just brilliant.
Bourne trolls them like a complete pro.
"she is standing right next to you"
Translation: Not to brag or anything here but I am 5 steps ahead of you.
I loved this bit. Bourne could kill them all, but he doesn't because he's suddenly aware he's being set up-and he wants to know by who and why, because whoever is really responsible took Marie from him. He wants revenge, but on the right person. He'll get it by making Landry figure it out if he can't, using Nicky to force the issue.
"That's easy, she's standing right next to you" is certainly a memorable phone call. The most effective and efficient assassin the CIA ever created has literally had you in his gunsights during a phone call he made-and you just tried to play him. No wonder Landry whipped around and started staring at every rooftop suddenly-she'd never have felt the bullet which killed her if he wanted her dead. A subtle reminder of just how good at surveillance and killing of his targets Bourne really is.
I miss Landry, mind, she added something to the films. She took no prisoners and made no apologies-and was able to play the CIA itself and help Bourne when she realised things had REALLY crossed the line. After "The Bourne Legacy" it was as good as stated she was being Charged with Treason, though, so she disappeared.
I love it when he does that.
+YGT TGY It gets me every time.
I do too
always makes me horny
The title is wrong: Jason (Matt) calls Pamela (Joan Allen) and sees Nicky (julia Styles).
ayyyyyy
Smaet ass
Exactly why I came to the comments section.
@@kapoioskapoiou8084 He is correct, "smart ass" is irrelevant.
U right 😀
* Puts the finger o the trigger *
_Are you running Threadstone?_
Oh Pam, if it was you, it should be a brief call...
This may be the best scene in the whole series. I love it - she's standing right next to you.
Can't lie when I watched this on TV this was one of the coldest moments ever 😂🔥🔥🔥
This should be called "Bourne calls Pamela". He never spoke to Nicky in this clip.
Similarly in Bourne Ultimatum..
"Get some rest Pam, you look tired!!!"
He didn’t call Nicky, he called Pam.
One of my favourite things is that Nicky isn't standing right next to Pamela, it just looks like that from Bourne's angle. Pamela works this out before even turning her head to look right at where Bourne was, whereas the others look around and take a second to find out. Love this film.
I continue to watch this video over and over. It is definitely my favorite part of the movie. If I'm watching it with someone I tell them to be quiet as that part is coming up so I won't miss it. The looks on their faces are classic.
The other great line was from Nikki to Landy.
Nikki: "It's not a mistake. They don't make mistakes. They don't do random. There's always an objective, always a target."
Landy: "The objectives and targets always came from us. Who's giving them to him now?"
Nikki: "The Scary version? -- He is!"
"It's not a mistake, they don't make mistakes..."
When Bourne call you, you know he is also watching you. Every single time.
The greatest scene from arguably the greatest thriller ever produced.
Bourne: "she's standing right next to you"
Joker: "even for a guy like you, that's cold"
Best spy movie of all times, no nonsense concept, real looking fight scenes. Super!!!
I also love how he set up the topic of Nicky. He didn't call her by name. He doesn't describe her. He just gives a very small detail.
I love the Bourne Identify movies. They have real stories not just some mindless action with shallow plots like John Wick movies.
True! And the wick fans had the audacity to brag about the pencil thing when it is bourne that first did it with a pen. Wick just copied bourne.
The look on Pam's face spinning round. As he replies She is standing right next to you. The words sent a cold shiver of fear right through her. She is trying to trace his location from the call he is making to her.
And he can see her and the person next to her without her knowing where he is.
Scary, spooky for Pam.
Classic acting.
My favourite scene from the entire series, feels so amazing when he says "its easy, she is standing right next to you"! Whoa
Including the earlier dialogue where Nicky says, "Scary version? He is," I can't tell you how much I LOVE this movie. The dialogue, the acting, the directing, the music...this scene is a confluence of everything that is great with movies.
I'll agree with everything you said. But still, the fact that "shaky cam" subsequently became such a thing almost entirely because of this movie is also a terrible legacy of this film. I REALLY wish the big (and actually quite pointless) hand-to-hand fight scene in this movie had been shot in a more conventional way, thus saving us from the horrible homages to it later on.
Ian Fleming created James Bond and Robert Ludlum created Jason Bourne but overall
Ludlum novels are much more complicated with brilliant plots and as per one saying
"He stuffs more surprises into his novels than any other six pack of thriller writers combined"
The moment you realise you're the hunted, not the hunter. Priceless!
Bourne Ultimatum. Stealing the Blackbriar Files clip.
Bourne: Where are you now?
Vossen: I'm in my office.
Bourne: I doubt that.
Vossen: Why would you doubt that?
Bourne: "Because, If you were in your office right now, we'd be having this conversation face to face."
I like how Bourne is so ahead of everyone that he has to keep giving them huge hints just to make it interesting. lol
" _That's easy. She's standing right next you._ "
I could see those CIA officers' brains going on a meltdown.
One of the most badass moments in cinema history
this is the best BOSCH commercial i have ever seen!
This scene along with the Professor’s last words (“Look what they make you give”) are my favorite scenes.
It's also his last words to his pursuer in Ultimatum.
@@kenohki3492 I love that part so much because it shows Bourne learning. He really took that line from his enemy to heart and knows just how terrible the organization is.
I just noticed that he says…”it’s easy” right before the “she’s standing next to you” line 😂😂
Bosch CEO: We NEED MORE ADVERTISEMENT!
Bosch intern: It's easy, have bourne standing right next to you!
One of the greatest scenes.
The Bourne Identity was one of the books I read cover to cover somewhere in the 1980's. The movie and the trilogy was equally gripping. Easily one of the greatest movie heroes for me...Jason Bourne along with Maximus the Gladiator who killed the Emperor.
2020 . This movie series still rocks 👌
This is just brilliant. I love that quote at the end. We all want to be the one who catches out the conspirators, like this.
Bourne was always several steps ahead :)
Quick lesson, If you are running some shady stuff, avoid the windows😂
Right. Use a Mac.
Hollywood. The CIA (and other intel agencies) would never have such lax OPSEC.
I love how panicked they are when he says..this is "Jason bourne" and they go into a frenzy!!
And Bourne is just watching them and laughing internally. "These stupid idiots freaking out and trying to trace my call. They have no clue I'm 50 feet away."
Legends says he still on the roof and calling people..... 🤣🤣
"She's standing right next to you" GASP!!!!! GOOSEBUMPS!!! GAAHH!!!!! AAAGGHHHH!!!!!!
i love the constant reminder in these movies of how bad ass bourne is as a ex assets hes the best at what he does and they constantly underestimate him.just when you are rooting for bourne you reminded of who and what he really is
The best quote/scene I've ever seen! "It's easy, she's standing right next to you"
closely followed by.. "get some rest pam, you look tired"
How about:
Bourne: You take care of this car?
Marie: What do you mean?
Bourne: Tires felt a little splashy on the way over here....
Then proceeds to jam her Austin Mini down some crowded Parisian steps
Press 9 for "It's easy, she's standing right next to you."
Bourne movies are just to awesome, I rewatch them all every 1-2 years.
Love the tension here. It's built up with the tracking sequence and the music ratcheting things up, Bourne following her, preparing to kill her. If Landy says the wrong thing, she's dead. We're on Bourne's side, but we don't want him to kill Landy! We know she's innocent, and it'll be a terrible mistake if he does! But if she says the wrong thing... he won't hesitate.
By sheer luck, she says... not the right thing exactly, but something that gets Bourne's thoughts on a new track. And we breathe a sigh of relief.
Best quote ever "That's easy, she's right next to you"
1B would be "Get some rest, Pam, you look tired."

Pam should always ask Jason Bourne ' how do I look today' every time she answer Jason's call after this.
I really love when he said
"This is jason bourne"
What a gold keyword...
Jesus Christ, that's Jason Bourne.
"90 seconds to trace his location"
The conversation only lasted 86 seconds. If he hadn't told them he was within viewing distance, they still wouldn't have known where he was.
true but he wanted a meeting nearby at short notice and from that window the arc of exposure is rather large. By the time they worked out the angles, he would be elsewhere.
Duh
Why are you looking out the window? I'm hiding the the cupboard.
Next time, freakin' look outside the window when Bourne calls....
Such a cool scene "she's standing right next to you"
'She's standing right next to you'
LOL.
1:31 Bourne spitting some bars
"send her alone, give her your phone"
and wait by the tone while I bone shittttt
It's easy, she's standing right next to you , can't get enough of that scene, classic
Still gives me goosebumps EVERYTIME!
That's the sort of moment that makes you piss your pants.
Borne performed a real life 'inception' on Pamela and everyone else in that room with his line "That's easy, she's standing right next to you." They all understood that they all have been defeated. But the idea Borne planted into everyones mind, especially Pamela "Why didn't he just kill us all?" Pamela is bewildered with that question in her head. She understood that he truly does wish to simply talk. He does not want her or any of them dead, if he did they would already been dead. Pamela is not the only one though. Danny Zorn later figured out that Borne was framed, but sadly he told that story to the one who framed him and got killed. However once again, Pamela firmly understood that Zorn wasn't killed by Jason. That way she also figured out that someone is trying to hide their track while Jason is trying to figure out who framed him and eventually she understood, she and Jason have the same enemy and 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. That intimidating line 1:37 was not a joke, threat nor a way of bragging, it was a psychological attack Jason used.
It's easy she's standing right next to you ! Love it !
This full scene sequence, where he comes into europe from africa, learns that's she's looking for him form a bugged phone call, locates her in Berlin, follows her to her secret command center and lies on the roof next door with a sniper rifle pointed at her, by the time it took her to come form the US and come to the office in the morning is one of my favourite scenes in movies.
I wish the scene was written as audience seeing Pamela receiving the call and we not knowing that Jason is watching her. And then later on, when Jason says, "She's standing right next to you", is when the audience along with Pamela knowing that Jason was watching all along. Would have been a chilling scene.
Absolutely Pal. You said it.
One of my all time favorite scenes of a wonderful movie series.
Bourne: "It's easy, she's standing right next to you."
Nicky: "See? See? What did I tell you?! They don't make mistakes! They don't do random!"
Pam: "Alright Nicky, settle d..."
Nicky: "I told you! I told you, but did anybody listen? What did I tell you!"
Ward: "Shut up Nicky."
Nicky: "Does it look like he's making any mistakes to you?"
Tom: "Can I shoot her?"
Nicky: "'Oh no, he can't be running his own missions! You're an idiot Nicky!'"
Pam: "Yes. Shoot her."
“Because if you’re in your office, then we’d be having this conversation face to face...”
Love Love the first 3 Bourne movies. Can watch them over and over
I put Jason Bourne over James Bond every single day. And I m a huge James Bond fan.
I just love the characters that are badass from the start. Jason Bourne is at the top of that list. He is here and nowhere at the same time. You think you can find him but actually he is always one step ahead - by being literally behind you, with the gun
"I doubted. If you are in your office, we would be having this conversation face to face".
Every time I watch this movie. Iam amazed with the performance of Matt Damon.
Show their reactions for fucks Sake... The whole point of the scene is their reaction
"Get some rest Pam, you look tired... And when you get a moment, your shower needs cleaning, it's been a few months since you bleached the mould on the grouting..."
And everyone simultaneously shat themselves.
Was this sped up for time or more to make Jason Bourne sound like he just inhaled helium?
