- In this video I see a tiger snake and a red bellied black snake, both at night time. Well after sunset. I also fish some magnificent mountain trout streams and film other wonderful Australian wildlife.
This is my December 2024 Monthly Mashup.

Loved the trail cam and thanks for dunking the camera I'm always fascinated to see footage in streams and rivers etc but so few people get the underwater stuff.Legend mate good to see you are living the good life!.😎
Thanks so much mate. 👍👍
Good one mate loved the trail cam and snakes as usual. All the fishless trips you show here shows how much effort you put in to make videos for me to watch h really appreciate it mate well done 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much Cam. They also show the sad state of our trout fisheries at the moment.
Excellent video Robbie
Don’t know about the snakes amazing creatures but not for me
Love the trail cam footage
Haha thanks Pete. I'm a huge fan of snakes, provided they're not under my feet. When that happens I turn into a normal person for a few seconds. LOL 😅😅
That's some incredible footage there mate. Well done
Thanks so much mate. 👍👍
Great Video Robbie 👍 Quite a few Nice Small Redfin, Nice Wildlife Footage

@@robbiefishing Yes but WHICH 'god'? ;o)
Awesome drone footage old chap. Some people buy snake gaters Robbie just hopes out of the car no shoes 👞. That’s a proper bush man right there 😅. See you Monday 👍
Haha thanks Camels. I certainly am a bushy.
Nice mashup! 😁👌
Thanks mate. 👍👍
Nice vid fella 👍
Thanks mate.
Great stuff robbie
Thanks mate.
Wooowww... lokasi super.. biasakah anda mengajak saya mancing di sini..???😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.. dari bali indonesia
The red fin are beautiful smoked use the small ones 5" to 10" sizes just rub with salt
G’day Robbie. I had to laugh at your intro, lol …. None here, or here, or here.
Haha thanks mate. It's certainly been a very tough trout season.
Loved the Mick Dundee reference 🤙🏼
It's amazing how the wallaby and roo knew the cam was there. It's digital so I assume no moving parts to hear. Maybe it's the hooman scent on it!? Pretty cool how they just know.
That’s one way to cop a bite. One silly move, most people get bitten playing around like this 😵💫 12:02
Thanks Kay. They're certainly very aware of their surroundings. Amazing wildlife.
My life my risks. Just like every single cigarette smoker is allowed to take their own risks so am I..
Hello Robbie today I caught 2 carp from the Murray river, there are thousands of them here. I don’t know how you catch anything other than carp, but you have your special ways anyway I’ll watch this new video and I already know it’ll be a Great one, keep it up mate
Thanks so much mate. When I fished down there I just enjoyed catching carp until a few Silver Perch eventually turned up.
Yea it’s all ways fun to catch a variety of fish
Love watching your videos robbie
Thanks so much Sam. 👍
Watch out for the brown snakes bobby.😂
Luv from qld, i have seen u before old mate.
Great video Robbie! Does all your family love fishing? I've only seen Holly fishing with you. With my 3 girls, only one of them fish. Hope you had a great Christmas. Cheers mate 👍
Thanks mate. My wife likes it, but prefers to take her camera instead to try and take wildlife photos. My eldest daughter likes coming out the bush for drives but isn't interested in fishing.
okay so you have been watching my instagram fishing show channel (okay in my mind only) called "I caught nothing". only happens to me on days with a "y" in them but I am sticking to getting it right. I may try replacing my casting plug with a spinner to see if that helps the hook up rate. Seriously though I really enjoy the honesty of your channel Robbie. keeps me grounded and willing to try new things and locations
You might catch something “tomorrow “ mate
Haha that made me laugh. Thanks so much mate. I watched my mt Strawbs lose trout after trout one day years ago, only to discover when we were almost finished that his spinner had no hooks on it. Haha 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂 I was waiting for the Russell Coight moment
And the snake flat out on the road
Hahaha Russell Coight is hilarious.
At 13'.20" you can see a set of eyes glowing in the background watching the Wallaby ...
That Wallaby wasn’t that hot, to dunk his tackle box in the dam. 😮
Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Enough donuts to open your own Krispy Kreme's 😁 Don't look now but you're being followed .....
Hahaha that's so true. I've never wanted a Krispy Kreme donut but I hear they're really nice.
Oi! at 11:16 while we are focusesd on the wallaby, what is looking on in the background between the two trees with the even bigger set of eyes!!?? They even move for a moment
Hi mate, at 11:16 there is a tiger snake. 🐍🐍
Awesome video Robbie. I was thinking what would you do if the wallaby made off with the camera, then he nearly did. We are having "I caught nothing days" as well. Fishing is very slow atm.
Haha thanks mate. Last year I had a deer pick up my camera and drag it into the mud. LOL 🤣🤣
Same here i got nothing. So at pub one beer 22.00 on keno 1800.00 back.😮😂.
Hahaha at least you had a win mate. 👍👍👍
that trail cam video looks a lot like a place i visit, wouldnt happen to be near mullengandra?
Hi mate, no it's near Wangaratta. 👍👍
@@robbiefishing all good thanks, i guess dams all look alike haha, thanks for all the watching too keep it up
No Japanese safety thongs on, mate... living dangerously, buddy!
Hahaha
13:20 what them eyes looks creepy as hahaha. Was that big foot or just a Yowie. This great stuff love the mash ups a lot
Haha I think they're just like a reflection. Probably reflecting off one of the lens elements on the camera.
What drone didya get?
Hi mate, it's a DJI Neo.
Robbie one of these days, some scientist will discover that either the magnetism or the weak electric field generated by the batteries attract the Roos or wallabies .
Something definitely seems to attract them so I reckon you might be right.
ROBERT....!!!!!! Thought we spoke about disturbing snakes....???? Your gunna get bitten one day....!!!!!! 😢😢😢
I think he knows WHAT he is doing!
Haha I'm in full control.
When in bother or in doubt get the 12 guage out😂😂😂😂
@@bobking4031 yep haha
@@bobking4031 BOOM!
HI Robbie, looking for nice new pond to try. Isn't that lake a beauty. So scenic. May I ask where this is please?
Hi mate, there are quite a few different lakes in this video. I'm not sure which one you are referring to sorry.
This video is like my fishing trip. Lol, nothing to see here. 😂😂😂😂
Haha thanks for watching mate.
Hey Robbie,Bit off topic but i've been yabbying different ways lately, different nets , shallow banks, drop off's, structure... yesterday we went to the plenty river near mernda as I have been told there are some nice yabbys in there, we put 3 nets in overnight (2 collapsible bait traps and one pyramid net) one of the collapsible bait traps caught a shortfin eel but other than that, no signs of yabbys at all. the day before that I attempted to catch some yabbys in melton reservior. Again... nothing. I have used cheese, sausage, salami, Chinese honey soy chicken and soap and they haven't seemed to work. Do you have any suggestions on how to hopefully get on to a few? Cheers.
G'day mate, try looking for farm dams with still water, the dirtier the better.
@@robbiefishingcheers!
Mate I’m seeing this late sorry but wow how old would these baby snakes be?
Thanks so much for watching Catherine. I hope you've had a good day.
I reckon maybe 2 or 3 years. Snake growth rates vary a lot depending on how much food they have access too.
@ I’ve slept most of the day still trying to recover from the flu n I also had whooping cough 1 week apart
You're going to lose your trouser snake one day, Robbie!
Hahahaha 🤣🤣
I've never seen so many snakes in the 14 years I've lived up here, im on five and half acres just out of echuca mate and we are seeing multiple snakes daily,,,,,
What's the story mate do you know?? There has to be a reason for their being so many atm,
and everyone i talk to is saying the same, never seen so many.
Hi mate, there's a number of reasons that it could be happening.
As we (as a society) respect the land more, many animal numbers are increasing. Kangaroos are a prime example.
It could be that, it could be to do with available food, or it could just be a seasonal thing too.
Robbie whenever i throw baiit traps in overnight there's always some dead yabbies in there but they can't starve because it's only overnight do you know why?
Hi mate, it could be due to a number of things. Whenever it happens to me, it is usually caused by poor water quality.
Yabbies can live in water with low oxygen levels, as long as they can come up for air occasionally. If they can't come up for air they can essentially drown in the yabby net.
Checking the met more regularly could help reduce mortality rates.
Didn’t think ya aloud to put red fine back.????????
Hi mate, I'm not sure what you would assume that. The Victorian rules state that you can release them at the point of capture. 👍👍
Can you catch Murray cod at kings billingbong
Hi mate, I believe it has been stocked so you should be able to. You can access fish stocking information on the Victorian fisheries website.
@ ok thank you so much mate
Well YOU caught a LOT of nothing! LOL!
Haha very true. LOL 😅😆
It certainly cod of been worse
You're not wrong mate. 👍👍
You know that trout are about as native to those rivers as gambusia, don't you?
As invasive as carp (just more edible) and a threat to species like Galaxia.
Please try to fish out the whole damned lot of trout and leave behind not even an egg.
I do know that, and I don't give a shit. I love trout and will advocate for Australian trout fishing until I take my final breath.
Trout are fantastic as a recreational species for people to catch, they bring tourism dollars to local communities and they taste good too. I know the country is rooted thanks to politics, but it would be even worse if the greenies got their own way and stopped trout from being stocked.
And before you winge, just remember... You've come onto a RECEATIONAL fishing channel pushing your green narrative.
Your house isn't native either. Native vegetation was probably removed to have it built. We better bulldoze it, provided there's no Greenies chained to the dozer.
@@robbiefishing by way of a punny response, giving a shit is the only instalment any of us make to pay for our right to eat the flesh of others until eventually we are compost. No free lunch.
Yeah I caught nothing too…. Little guppies don’t count
nice Pics and Vids Robbie and lol i think that wallaby kangaroo has its own UA-cam or a Twitter Channel 🦘🦘
Haha I think it might have an onlyfans account. LOL 🤣🤣
