I know that there's money in toys but I don't know enough about movies to even start! I usually buy them at yard sales really cheap and look them up. I'm amazed at the little accessories that sell so high. 😅😅 I love your yard sale videos ❤
The toy man used to travel to Tampa to the Salvation Army main hub and they would have auctions on truckloads of toys. Used to be able to find tons of vintage stuff. I believe his health has declined a lot so now he just grabs stuff around town and thrift stores. Mostly Junk and happy meal toys now but I have personally pulled some awesome stuff out of those bags but haven’t in probably close to 2 years
I have a grocery bag full of fragle rock McDonalds toys that are still in their plastic packages. Guess I will try to sell them now thst I know approximate worth.
Kevin that reminds me of a yard sale i went to over the summer. It was in a dark church basement. I purchased a lot of dolls. When i got home i realized most of the stuff i got was dirty. It took a lot of cleaning. From now on im using my phone flashlight if its in a dark room.
Kevin , I went to the " world's largest yard sale " in August and found an open shipping tote of comics from the 50's and 60's . There was over 100 and all sitting in about 3" of rain water . I'll never understand why you wouldn't take care of something you are trying to sell.
Kevin you have far more patience than I have. The mounds of toy bags would’ve sent into a panic lol. Thanks for explaining why you choose what you do, I learn a ton from you.
I have sold hundreds of those promotional toys for profit and I wouldn't recommend buying these. Yes, you can clean them but, I cannot even imagine the work of getting the rust off all those metal and wheel parts, if even possible. Jeeze this sucks. These are my passions and I love staging, researching, and selling them. This breaks my heart. All he needs is to store them in tubs and he could make so much money instead of this.
I picked up a Georgia Tech hat yesterday from a garage sale for five dollars and sold it immediately on eBay for $300! Think I should’ve held out for more possibly but needed some Christmas money. Lol
This fall, I went to a garage sale that a woman was holding at her house. She was selling off what was left of a store booth. I went on the second day, and it had rained overnight. Depression glass sitting there full of water. The worst was a sliverplated salad serving fork and spoon. They were in a box with a velveteen lining, but the box and lining were soggy from sitting out in the rain. She was selling everything for a dollar each, and I only found a few things to pick up.
It reminds me of the 6 weeks I sorted through all the Lego inventory in my daughter’s house this past February. By the time I had the sets sorted out & ready to list then I was just bagging up by color & brick.
I just seen those Disney Bambi and thumper with some other 80s-90s toys at a thrift store the whole bag was $7.99 had to pass wasn’t the profit margin I was looking for thanks Kevin!
@@CommonwealthPicker wasnt a big deal to me that my old brand just thought people would make a big deal is why i thought possibly u didnt know wat newports was
Guy - probably put that onlonr for 50 bucks. I could do that. The thinf is its work to do that. People don't understand checking quality. Cleaning - pictures - then listing. - then after it does sell packing an shipping. Which also includes trips to the post office. Its work and people think you just robbing people is wild. I try to sell off marketplace if i want more out of something an just let it sit.
I have two places like this near me. One is in a big metal building but the spider webs, dust, and dirty has taken over most of it. The other it's all under tin roofs exactly like this place, but the wind, dust, dirt, and rain/humidity still permeates and ruins everything . I try to grab stuff that's new to the mix, and have made money off them. I have gotten hit by acorns. I had one ricochet off my umbrella, come in my open door and get me.
Looks like a lot of Plastic to recycle to me.. who has the time to package up all those toys then just leave them out in the weather to rot away. Talk about a Hoarding problem! I’d hate to see their house
You sound a bit down or tired in this video Probably you've had a long day? the toyman had quite a few bags there If he keeps them long enough the toys will be vintage 🇨🇦🦩
? I went to 2 flea markets and about 100 yard sales. This was the last leg of day four of a five day trip. The previous Florida video and about 9 or ten to come are from my Florida trip
Loved the Toy Man with the Tshirt. I worked in my hometown for 35 years and have been retired for almost 3 years. I don't need a t-shirt. I was and will probably always be known as Bill the Mailman!!!😂😂
10-15 dollar video game with free shipping... No thanks. I mean the profit margins on a lot of stuff they pick up is just thin as heck. But they make it work, just boring to do all of that just to maybe make a few bucks after tax, ebay fees, shipping cost and not including your time.
you are too picky also a little lazy you can not find the golden ticket everywhere you go. you have chose this line of work you should have not quit your day job i have also noticed you talk yourself out of buying Items that you would have to put a little work into.

Would love to see everything that came out of the bags, organized and what not. Follow-up video, perhaps?

Where's he located?
Archimedes is the owl from Sword in the Stone, one of my favorites
I've always used best offer on 100% of my items and it does not affect my average sales price of $28.55 per card
You can clean those hats on the top shelf of your dish washer

I have boxes upon boxes of McDonald's toys that are still in the plastic. They are over 20 years old.
yes nothing is as soul killing as the yard sale that sits out months at a time
Fraggle Rock was great. Stuff is hard to find, just like the Muppets.
Where toys go to die! Love it! He should put that on a billboard!
What a shame all those toys rotting away. I'm surprised they don't have a couple huge tents to keep them out of the weather.
I think your in my area Florida ! That toy man has been there for over twenty years, really nice guy!
For sure

Kevin I found the Swift album, it was in my cousin’s cd collection, she wouldn’t let me have it however. 😝
Lol. Sorry

What a mess. Lot of digging through! fun video!
That’s Awesome if I came across that I would be there looking for 5 hours through those bags. Wow 🤩

Show a pic of it
I’d be in a mental institution after a day of putting all that stuff in those bags.
I'd be in a mental institute picking around that mess of stuff!!!!
LOL
The plastic waste makes me sad
Trying to figure out where in Daytona you were.
9:47 the owl are worth $3-5 each
Kevin I love watching your videos because you always hustle and stick to it and give us great footage 🤗
Is that Picking and Punching Rod
Wow I live in Orlando I had no idea that was in Daytona. I enjoy both you guys. Nice work!!!
It’s actually in Spring Hill Florida. Idk why he wrote Daytona maybe an accident
They should have left the toys in bins and told people $5.00 a bag. But then again they obviously didnt care if they let stuff get soaked.
Open air wet items ...a totally sad scene 😅

I loved fragle rock when I was a kid
This is where Buzz and Woody end up in Toy Story 5
Saw my favorite picker, Rod😅
I can't believe how many bags of plusses there were. Dave would lose it.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BLAME THE LANDLORD FOR BEING A BUNCH OF SLOBS. I wish I had been there to just ask them wtf. You all are so nice.
You missed a good hat that Florida gator tourist hat

I would love to sleep in on Sunday, but I also love to recharge by going to church. I like to watch your Sunday video to help me wake up! 💛🫶💛

This was the last stop of the day. Day 4 of 5 straight days of sales. I was indeed a bit tired
This fella must be crazy, planning a trip to Florida just to go to this flea market. I really need to stop drinking

$7-$8 profit for 5 minutes of work. That's almost $100 an hour.
It all adds up at the end of the year.
What a huge detriment to our environment! All those plastic bags! 😢
🥰❤️
4th!
Lol, great video as always!
Complaining about the hats being dirty at a flea market 😂
I wasn’t complaining. I was saying that as commentary that for the money to be made there is labor involved.
You were kind of negative here 😏

Thanks Ruby. Appreciate the kind words. My lazy butt works about 75 hours a week.
