I will look foward to this play style to understand the advantages of a calm Jamie. Also, he react to almost all Luke's fireballs with heavy bakkai, that is insane reaction.
I’ve never seen a Jamie play this patient .. Daigo’s approach on the character is very interesting . He very much focuses on whiff punishing with this character

honestly it seemed more like a prediction that a reaction, this is completely my own thoughts with no real backing but I think daigos spacial awareness combined with the insane amount of lukes he fights because hes so common at high level has just given him the experience to tell when lukes tend to throw fireballs, but thats just my theory

Now from what I’ve heard. Apparently Daigo was looking forward to Jamie in SF6 but lacked any real tournament viability.
A lot of ppl were looking forward to Jamie even punk was excited to play him then he was not that good
Yes, alot of players were playing jamie in the first week of release but soon drop him for other characters.
