Yeah sounds good. I'll start that tomorrow. Thanks
do it everyday??? with no rest day???
Yep
My father (who was a farmer) used to do 100 pushups when he woke up, before lunch, and before bed. If that was half, then he was indeed quite the strong guy.
“Who was a farmer” say no more that explains everything
@@DoctorDipshits my dad whose on his 50s spent half his life farming and now works in construction. Dudes core is great. His abs looks good which is a motivator for me
They usually lift heavy things like hay bales etc.
my dad (who was a carpenter) used to do no pushups
@@イタチうちは-b7m who?
Alright, so....
1/2 of a push-up a few times a day.
Got it!!!💪
Progression brother 💪🏽
Minor progress is still better than no progress 😌
Idk if its a joke but hell yeah
… yeah. Just do negative push-ups which is basically 1/2 the motion of a regular one
@@1nterv1od_gd62
....and eccentric contraction gains strength quicker than concentric contractions due to increased tension over time.
My drill Sargent did this to us in the army. You owe me 100 push ups give me 25, you see them again give me another 25 and so on and so on.
dayum
This is why the army is easy
@@grambo3343 your talking to a Ranger.
@@chuckmckee2741 ooooo a ranger lmao. Para rescue here...think I know a tiny bit more about what is "hard" haha.
@@grambo3343Well you got me there we don’t rescue parachutes.
I never knew this had a name. This and cycling helped me get started a few years ago when I dropped 100lbs
Holy shit 100lbs, good work that’s insane
Which type of cycling? 🤔
@@thomas.thomas Bicycle. I have sidewalks and some trails around my neighborhood. I would ride out to playgrounds to practice negative pullups on the monkey bars and pushups.

Respect king 👑 I've lost 66 pounds 3 years ago and it changed my life
Ten years ago one of my TKD students (12 yo) was coming up to her BB grading she had to do 50 knuckles push ups. Her max at the time was 30 so I set her a task to do 15 KPU five times a day (=75) seven days a week and every week increase that by 5 per set KPU! By the time her grading came up Three months out she was pumping out seven hundred min. KPU a week = 100 knuckle pushups a day. On her grading day she produced 100 knuckle push ups without a break! That was at the end of her grading. Outstanding. You’re the first trainer I have ever heard say this in thirty-five years of my teaching. Nice.
Any tips for me sensei? I can barely do 1 as a fat American
@@saarza9991 you can do some easier variations like for example, you do your max of knee push ups till failure and then proceed to do even an easier variation which is wall push ups till failure (this is a single set). rest for 30-60 seconds and repeat. Try to do at least 5 sets of these everyday and don't forget to have rest days (and stay active in these days dont just sit down and watch tv) just a simple walk will do. As you get used to it increase the reps and do the same with harder variations.. there you go.
@@saarza9991 its easy jus do negatives or inclines until your reach a pushup
Yeah, I can not deny his logic, if you work out, you get stronger.
Ikr
The point isn't just "workout more". It's a much efficient method compared to if you do the exercise till your max reps it will just tire your muscle out you can't even hit 5 sets
@@K-6.3-7ok but how do you know? How does he know? Is there actual research on this or is it just something someone came up with one day
@@grqfesit's about increasing endurance which is in turn increase you max reps if you spam 25 pushups like that you'll get used to them till the point they don't even tire you. So you'll be able to do more
@@Canwicakte if you work out you’ll get stronger duh..
That’s just increasing your muscle memory and strength of the exercise. Anything you do in volume you’ll improve and get stronger.
one thing that helped for me is doing dips too. went from 45 to 60 in 3 weeks
My gf got interested at "greasing the groove"..
☠️...
Seriously 😳.....
Now have fun 😂....
i went from 17 to 35( in a row) by doing 17-20 push ups at least twice a day
How long did it take you?
@@dann5480 if i remember 1 month or a little more. Now i do 61 push ups (straight)
I need this for my pull up 👏👏👏
I used to implement the same technique when I was in military service ❤ back in 2016
Since the last month,I have been doing Goggins's calisthenics workout which he calls Nickels and Dimes for 4 weeks and I saw a huge increase in my strength and endurance as well,I recommend it to everyone 💪.
You need to push yourself beyond your limits.
WHO GONNA CARRY THE BOATS!
You can also divide by 3 or 4 it still works but you have to be consistent and maintain the overall volume.
Thanks ❤ tomorrow I'll start doing 0.25 pushup(s) every 2 hours. I can barely do a single one. Thanks a lot, made it much easier
@@saarza9991 if you can’t do 1 push up I would advise fasting being the best thing you can do right now until you’re lean enough to do one.
@@lawrencetrujillo7365 what no absolutely not
@@saarza9991 you can probably do a push up now but what I did to learn I practiced my form and gained the strength by doing Push ups on walls, benches and slowly lowering til you can do about 25 knee push ups and eventually you'll be able to a push up
@@ilikecheeze5110 I guess I should have mentioned that if you are a guy since a lean male should be able to do 1 push-up regardless of strength. If you are a male who can’t do 1 push up you are very overweight. Ask any skinny guy to do a push up and he will do Atleast one even if he looks like a skeleton.
I like doing pyramid reps starting with 1 rep up to 21 depending on the workout daily or every other day. Goal is to get to at least set 20 within 6 weeks. If I haven't done pushup for awhile it usually takes about 2-3 weeks to get to set 21 under 25 minutes
I did two sets of 25 when I woke up and 50 body weight squats and after a while I did it before I went to sleep helped me get past my 40 mark 👍👍👍 I like watching this for tips from time to time
Yes, it works like magic I recommend that you try it for a week for any workout
I used to do this years ago when I began working out with rows and bicep curls specifically. My strength increased exponentially from it (and newbie gains).
This is nice, i usually increase my first set by 5 reps everyday. Currently at 90reps as at this mornkng. Tomorrow I'll do 95. Lets go!!!!!!
Ahhh I see, so by doing push ups everyday slowly over time I will be able to do more 🤔this is genius
Lol. It's almost like working out makes a person...stronger? 🤔
@@DiogenesNephew I know right, who would’ve thought? This man is a genius, he cracked it.
I learned this lesson with cycling, from what I could gather during those half sets we clean up the blood in the muscles🤯
Just do one extra rep each day. 50 reps one day, 51 the next, 52, 53 etc - works because you did 53 the day before but why not just one more. I used this before joining the army and ended up being able to hit 100 presses easily in one go.
Man I did 74 one day, and the next time I tried I got to that 75 and thought after, (while still holding myself up after that 75th), “what’s one more?”… went down for another, then another… By 86 I remember laughing. I pushed all the way to 101.. my goal for the year was 100, but I couldn’t stop.. 😂
There are moments we never forget in life. I like the idea of improvement, but the mind and spirit can be much stronger than the body…
So you mean that consistency actually works?
Wow, that’s something new..
It’s a new discovery unknown to all of humanity until now! 😂😂😂
My max off the counter is 30 so I’ll be updating doing 15 about 5 times a day. Today is June 14th.
I heard about this, but I never actually knew what the process was, pretty useful
Im gonna have to give this a try.
"Exercise more to improve your exercise results"
If you're muscles aren't in pain when you go to sleep than this is great.
This is what i do:
100 push ups: 3 sets of 10 morning 2 sets of 15 afternoon 4 sets of 10 at night.
Then increase each set ever week til your able to hit your set amount in one set.
I will do this for 5 months, I will edit this comment to update it sometime
Current max reps: 41 push-ups
Update 1: I can do 53 push-ups
Update 2: I can do 60 push-ups
Very interesting. I've been stuck at 12 pull ups for several months, def gonna try this
Take more days between retesting,as our strength increases the recovery time also increases
Good stuff bro💯
“With this classic technique-“ DRUGS, A WHOLE LINE OF -

Do 200 push-ups every day consistently.. and get rotator cuff surgery by 45. Don't forget to pull!!
Do half sets on pullups also😅
I do this on the regular
That's works. I do 100 pushups in the morning I've worked myself up to 35 at once full pushups. Then two more 35s. With two minute rest.
People that their max push up is a prime number
I actually do 50 push-ups a day in sets of 10 with this system
Update: Now I can do 50 full range in one set

Change every day to push up day and ultimately leave everything and just do push up. Ultimately do push up every hour only 😂
So basically just do pushups to get better at pushups
This would fuck up my triceps and joint's because I need to warmup before every session
Well, technically those half sets are a warm up😅
Perfect thing you have told
So i can do 0 push ups, got it i spread my 0 pushups throughout the day regularly doing 0 pushups
😂
You can do push-ups. You just have to find the right one for your fitness level.
Solid bro💪🤝💯
This is some good advice il try this 👍
In the MARINES we had to do 20 pull ups
To get a perfect score. I could only do 16.
So the Sgt said we have a test Friday on the
Monday morning brief. So Wednesday I
Did 10 sets of 10 for 100. Thursday I fasted
Water only. Friday we have the test and I
Did 20.
Facts! I like this guy
Yeah bro I don’t think I’m gonna go to the playground every two hours to do pull-ups 😢😢
Let's turn to God Theseasonorg explains whole Bible God bless.
This is genius. Thank you sir.
Great explanation
Ur juiced stop giving people false expectations
So what if I can do only 1 pull up
Do an easier exercies or using resistance bands.
Good looking trainer ❤lol
My guy 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿😤
Dang. I did this but I dint devide by half and still decreased my max.
I could do 55 strict pushups if I really strained. So I did 50 before and after every meal then I added a set when I first wake up and a set before I go to bed when I wasnt tired of the other anymore. Got up to 87 mac and then to 123 over a 3 month period and was gonna adjust to fit in 600 a day when I fell sick to Lymes disease!😥
That's impressive brother. And damn, Lyme is a bastard, I hope you beat it 🤜🤛
I'll try this, thanks
I've been doing max number ( 5 sets of maximum i can do at the time with 1 min of rest - this takes about 10/day) and i went from 25 to 100 in 1 month ( about 2 extra pushups/ day)
Not mutually exclusive methods...
I do that at work, every 30 mins.
i’m planning on doing this over the summer with handstand push-ups and pull-ups and see how much my reps increase and if i remember i’ll update with my results
Valuable Information
Imma do it on pull ups too
Thank you very much.
I'm going to have to do this on days where I work on triceps
I can't divide my pull ups rep by 2. As I'm not so good with fractions.
1 do 1
Do a half rep?!😅
How many days a week? Should there be recovery days between these workouts?
1 pushup in the day and 1 pushup in the night
I did a challenge a few months ago that I would do 100 push ups a day fir a whoel week and I actually realised that j could do a lot more push ups like all the way to 60, before I could do like 40, so I guess that helped
U did every day 100 ?
@@notaaryan__ it’s possible I have done over 100 the past 3 days now
A month and a half ago before I got sick I randomly was like I’m going to increase my push-ups and started doing 400 pushups a day and after a few days of doing it you really get numbed out I didn’t feel much after doing it for a week or two but then my eye got super fucked up so I had to stop but now that I’m better I’m going to start again, I’m 19 6’0, 140lbs
I can do 1 push up...does that mean...
This guy said, you wanna get more reps? Do more push ups.
I like this one. Think ill try it.
My dad when he was in prison done 50 every time his cell door opened he came out jacked lol
Recovery in longer sets.
You can also do this by doing 50
what if your max push ups is a odd number?
How do I do 7.5 push ups
0 divided by 2??
Thanks man
This is revolutionary! Who would have thought working out more can make you stronger????
Haha
4/2 ok got it
25 pushups After breakfast? I thght we are not supposed to exercise after meals
Aight so 0 pushups a couple times a day let’s go 💪
Will this work for similar short kings as yourself ?
Or bench press and save a lot of time.
Why not just train?
Doesnt body need rest?
It’s called gainers
I do a thang called greasing my knob
Don’t you need rest days?
Just asking because if you want more strength wouldn’t it be better to do the PPL split
I am not expert but I just heard this before
Why Not 50?
I do 450 reps in 1 set
gonna do them
Before bed 25 push-ups and after bed 25pushups
But yeah fun aside! These kinda splits works I have tried them before.
I can only do 1 😢😢😢
It will increase any way as a result of adaptation and progression
