I have been in Indonesia 2 times, and i loved it, such an amazing country with such a deep culture, amazing food, and always people with the smile, each region even i Java island have different foods, like i was in Jakarta and then traveled to Yogjakarta, and food was sweeter in Yogjakarta, prob i tasted only 0.1 % off all foods, some fruits i never have seen in my life which is funny haha, prob what most i enjoyed was the freedom in Indonesia, as there is no restrictions where you can go or not, like in the UK lots of forests are privatized so you cant do backpacking, or if there is not privatized you need to pay a fee to stay there with tents, also most food you buy from local markets which is amazing because fruits and veggies are fresh, not mass produced by companies, same with meat and fish goes, spices, all Indonesians should be proud of your country, non of the countries are better, Uk might be better in some places where Indonesia is not, but Indonesia is more better is some aspects where Uk is not.

I am from India and have lived in Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia. Each of them are fun but for me personally, I found Indonesia feels more home due to amazing landscapes and diversity.

2:00 tbh, we took every chance to have a national holidays here. Ramadhan and Idul Fitri? Yeah, national holidays. Resurrection of Jesus Christ? National Holidays. Chinese new year? National holiday. Holy days for Hindu? National Holiday. We're very happy to just paint the date red for holidays. And everyone must have equal fun.
Why Indonesian are easy to love?
I think may be because we mostly think people are all nice. May be it's called immature, but we are taught to be smily friendly, polite and respectful to others. We normally assume other people are good people. May be it's also one of the reasons why Indonesia was colonized by The Dutch more than 350 years.
Being happy is the most important part of life, so we are so laid back and never be that stressfull 😂
The whole world shall learn about happiness😂

They see Indonesian as humble people, and very friendly. It most likely because they also act humble and very friendly.

Yes we are friendly, easy to make a friends with everybody and in a fast way, but like a normal life also, when we live with our family everyday, you will see a normal drama like your mother shout out loud to calls you for a dinner, or a 15 y.o kid with a smoke in his hand.
