I've seen em in person (not saying you havent) but BCUs vocals are freaking amazing they can definitely chant over some other bands. It sounds soft relative to the tubes but they fill up a stadium with a chant.
Yeah...they took the DRUM...they THOUGHT THAT was our most powerful cultural instrument...it wasn’t...it was OUR VOICES. Our gift of SONG! The drum was the fire to our dynamite...👍🏾
Sound so much better than fam playing it imo. Fam is making strides though. Hbcu band competition is just better when both bands are at their best. I think next year may just be the year.
