Ateez (pronounced 80z) is structure-wise a fairly typical kpop group, there's 8 guys, out of those two are designated rappers (they write their own raps), there's the main vocal (with an insane range and strength) supported by the lead vocal and the remaining vocalists, then three of them are the main dance line. However, Ateez are so good that basically any of them can without any problems fill any position. They come from a very small entertainment agency where they are the only active group and which also includes their own in house music production team that makes the songs for and with them and their own choreo crew (both famous in the industry). They experiment a lot and no two title tracks of theirs are the same. They're most famous for amazing, powerful live performances and always singing live (which is rare in kpop these days). If you'd like to listen to them more I suggest The Real, it's a super fun song with a live action high school anime style MV. Or Say My Name, it's one of their earliest songs but you can see the swag already. If you'd like to see them in a completely different style try Deja Vu for sexy, concert version of Mist for emotional and Illusion for cute. For a new group I recommend Monsta X, they have the most powerful rapline in kpop but they're also super smooth and have amazing vocals. Try Love Killa, Gambler, Love, Shoot Out, Alligator, Rush Hour.
