Individual freedom is indeed the most important issue in today’s society. However, only children with their magical thinking imagine a unipolar world. Adults are aware of other values such as duty and honour which are part and parcel of a life centred around freedom.

Men and women are two parts of one and interdependent. The whole feminist idea to take the two apart is anti life and anti nature. It is highly destructive and actually satanic

  • @TheMichaelMove
    @TheMichaelMove Місяць тому +43

Liberal feminism is not about freedom in any rational sense. It assigns “rights” to women at the expense of someone else’s freedom. As in the example of “equal pay” in the workplace. What they actually want is equal pay for less work and less responsibility.

@@libertykim6438 no. As long as the efficiency is the same, the willingness to step in when others don’t show up is the same, etc. Mostly the equal pay scam happens in white collar jobs. There, men generally put in more hours and take on more responsibility often with the same job title. Leftists use the job title to claim “unequal pay.” But this is just one example. Unjustifiably high pay for sports that make much less money, free abortions until birth. It is a very long list.

Yet those "rights" end up being too often at the detriment of women. For instance having to juggle a career while raising kids or the way men no longer feel it's their duty to protect women and provide for them.

  • @pawelpap9

Actually it is much simpler than she is trying to make it. Historically, individual freedom is male thing while women are more inclined towards communal living for a simple reason they need quite a lot of support to raise children. The difference in preferences is still quite pronounced different voting patterns between sexes. The problem with feminism is that in order to entirely equate sexed one has to remove motherhood from the equation.

Freedom is not the most important thing. Freedom is the only thing. Everyone should be able to do anything they want as long as it does not violate the property rights of anyone else. Government's role is to define and enforce property rights.

Well but..... the talk is mostly about attractive women
because men dont want to marry ordinary looking women.....
so these good-looking women dont want to give up their beauty,
to loose independence and serve to family system...
yet for many women the serving idea to a family system is the greatest happiness, because their parents lived happily like that.
so the ordinary looking women choose at least career, to not be bored at home.
if men dont want them much.
      the television is encouraging
      women to choose attractive men
      and men choose attractive women....
so then its even harder to start a family.....
if instead of using your insticts, you listen some "short term" trends....
but goodlooking man doesnt necessarily create a happy marriage
etc, because goodlooking ones may have other interests...that seem more important to them than the family.
then there are women with infertility
some doctor explained these women suffer from infertility because they dont spend enough time outside in nature,
in sun and fresh air, but only inside of buildings.

Women - oppressed by her own choices!
Women overwhelmingly chose male partners who earn more than they do! Typically by about 30% more.
If a child is born which partner should stop work look after it? Do you want to lose 65% of the family income or 35%? So the lowest paid partner is the least bad option...but that would be the woman, a consequence of her choice to marry someone who earns more than she does!
Choice to have a child ...A man can not force a woman to have a child against her will. Can a woman force a man? Yes, if he does not want a child there is nothing he can do. If she does not want a child she has many options.
So if there is a child - who made that decision - her?
    Her body, her choice!
    Her choice, her responsibility!
The responsibility goes with the choices!

Freedom which invokes rights - we need to share the truth that rights do not exist in the absence of exercise of the mutual responsibility. The latter, as with civil law, is what brings the rights into existence in the first place. This basic civics lesson was embodied in the culture of my fifties upbringing. Morality helps enormously, obvs.

Motherhood is a sacred endeavour of Service and sacrifice . worthy of support and protection worthy of support and protection by men and other women. The mother baby bond is not to individuals. It’s a sacred unit of co regulation. For the sake of development . In short humans cannot outsource love or pay someone to do the sacred work. And young peoples ability to self regulate is completely dependent on this bond 🙏

This is incredibly similar, if not identical, to what Alexander Dugin claims which defines liberalism literally in terms of simply liberating oneself from something, that this is ultimately what individualism is expressing, so the person has to liberate themselves from any constraint, whether it be ones gender, or anything else that encroaches on ones liberty. I think this is too narrow and is missing something as I think trans ideology is really neo Marxist and really about collectivism which is contrary to individualism.

Freedom comes with responsibility and it must occur within the confines of reality. People these days have made an idol out of freedom to the point at which they believe it absolves them of responsibility and allows them to reject the reality of their own nature.

Here's a Freedom idea, stop making people work so much; both Women and Men. Maybe this discussion weighs heavily on women for raising the kids because it's just understood the father will be pulled away working long hours as traditionally the chief breadwinner. Women seeking more flexibility in their lives instead of subservient home maker and baby maker is fine, but the problem is when they race to catchup with the Men who are already being Overworked.
Also, as this video discusses the women pulled away for their busy careers, in many cases I think the fathers are as well. I'm sure many have a lot of responsibility at the office or factory or other jobs, but they should also be present more in the family for their Fatherhood role as well and not just come home to nod off in the recliner wiped out from work.
I feel like everyone is just being exploited and it's out of control and even women following Feminist thought feel they got more than they bargained for.

This could be reduced to constrained liberty: _your right to swing your arms stops where my nose begins._ The human desire for autonomy and agency is absolute in fully-formed individuals. This is balanced by the burden of culture which decides which constraints are evidence of crossing any particular threshold. Beware the constraints that have their origin in religion.
E.g. raising a family in the traditional model is a massive burden. Offer new mothers the advantages of well-appointed 5-star creches, 24/365 in-house assistance for the first time-energy-poor 4-6 years and imagine the difference. Thus creating a lovely laboratory to help with finding out how to reliably raise _blueprint prototypical sapiens_ which is our fundamental mission.

Ok. So, apparently you can't stand freedom. That's fair enough, as you're probably too weak to be comfortable with it. You seek refuge in family life and motherhood; again, that's fair enough. Not everyone is strong enough to walk through life without the crutches that families can provide. But disparaging freedom in public the way you do can infringe on the freedom of others, and _that_ is unacceptable.
