i still remember the line stack sniping shenanigans from when this was current. Where different groups would try and snipe eachother with the line stack on the second boss. Fun times. They dont make alliance raids like they used to thats for sure.
Fun fact about this raid, Yoko Taro originally designed it to be Nier levels of hard. Yoshi-P made him tone it down. Even then, clearing these raid series on release was a trip. NO ONE knew how to run various mechanics.

These two little story quests, "Carnivals and Confrontations" and "One Way To Do It" were 5.2, which was February of 2020. And then "We Can Rebuild Her" was 5.3, which was August of 2020. So if you finished Copied Factory then didn't come back for the story quests it was almost a year before the next raid. 15:38 "They should keep this place like this, it's way more vibrant." The short answer, yes. 40:44 That one freaks me out to this day. 42:30 Peloton doesn't work in combat, period. 44:05 And now we reach the body horror segment of the game. 48:16 Yup! 50:30 All 4 of the clones on the 4 corners were all doing the same donut prime blade the real one did. Just community practice to group up on that corner to keep dps'ing, but any of them would let you live. 51:10 The pods form from the balls and shoot line aoes. If there's a tether from one ball to another spot it shows that pod is going to teleport to a new spot before it forms. 51:35 If there's sparks traveling along the lines they're real and should be soaked. If there aren't then it's a trap. 55:43 "Everything You Know Is Wrong." Sheesh. Way to drive in the nail, Squeenix.
Dont worry: the Nier and Ivalice raids are the trickier ones in the whole. Though spectacular, the EW alli raids are nowhere near as hard... unfortunately. I like these at lot, though: once you do them a couple times, recognise the tells and all... they are really fun. The only thing I was disappointed with was the story. Maybe if you have played the Nier games, it makes more sense to you, but with only what the game gives you here... it doesnt make any sense. And whenever I think I finally get what this is about, there's plot twist. So yeah, I've given up... Maybe you'll fare better. At least the bosses are cool ^^°
