‘Imagine how mad you’d be dying in a plane crash because of TNA’ is an all time Brian Last line
Imagine if it was because of AEW…Jim would be the lonely survivor just to kick Tony’s ass. 😂
Imagine not getting the quote right
LOL Nice one by the Last MAN!!!
I dont have a fear of flying, i have a fear of suddenly not flying
I don't have any fear of either, flying is incredibly safe, but oddly enough, I hate heights in any other situation.
You to Max?
I'm comfortable flying and like I said elsewhere, it kind of feels like a bus ride when you're not taking off, landing, or experiencing turbulence.......Heights in general freak me out a little though.
@@SensiofRabbitude Yeah been on a lot of flights, probably 10+ before I was 10 years old, flying doesn't bother me, but climbing a ladder, being on a roof, etc would creep me out. lol
@@maxxdahl6062then why is there like 20 seasons of Air Disasters 🤨
@@EazyE11 A bunch of different reasons, bad pilots, bad maitinence, bombings, suicidal pilots, etc. Great show by the way. Every single one of those incidents has made commercial aviation safer, unfortunate but some good has come out of it.
If Jericho hears this, he’s going to pitch a match idea to Tony Khanye featuring wrestlers on a plane just to troll Corny. *FLIGHT FOREVER*
Dear god that's awful hahaha
Too bad most of the Plane Ride from Hell guys are no longer with us. Though they already have Flair and Dustin Rhodes, and I'm sure Sean Waltman is up for an easy payoff.
There's a Street Fighter V stage where you fight on the wings of a plane so Kenny has probably pitched it already.
That would be Great!
I hope they do that. Add Jack Perry so he can tell us it's a real plane.
Who here remembers Jim Ross's video talking about Cornette being so afraid of flying XD
*JUST SING TO ME*
*godaaaaaaamn….*
I’ve always wondered when someone would submit an email to the drive thru about this 😂😂
Goddamn you Dudley do right muhtherfuhckersss
Can't touch my shiiiit
That landing in Louisville actually sounds incredibly impressive. Thunderstorms create a risk of wind shears which the crew was focused on when they had to make a go around.
Mii you lov3
Oh my god Travis you’ve done it again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"THERE'S SOMETHING ON THE GODDAMN WING!" -JC prolly lol
Planes are statistically safer than cars.
Statistics lie
yes but some people have phobias. I dont like being on those tubes crammed with other people. I was in a very bad incident (publicized in the media) in the early 90s and dont want to get back on one
we know full well yes it is safer than cars
There’s also wayyyy more people driving 🤔
Cause less people fly. Look at the odds of surviving a plane crash vs the odds of surviving a car crash
On one hand yes. On the other, if one car crashes, no more than five people die, maybe six for the newer cars. If a plane crashes, everybody dies.
Another gem for the coffee table book that I would pay good money for.
True..but I'm having a rough go at life right now but listening to corny and Brian for free on this platform is one of the true blessings I have
Elvis had a fear of flying. He didn't want to fly out of Memphis Tennessee to Jacksonville Florida to see Aew!
I’m so glad I listened to this. Hilarious
Love the picture,my favorite TZ episode, lol.

The PBS Frontline documentary on the Boeing 737 Max planes is scarier than any horror movie.
Where to see that? Morbid curiosity 😒
@@indecent0079 UA-cam.
Exactly
With all these reports of planes falling apart in the air, it makes you never wanna fly again 😅. The reason I'm terrified of flying is the lack of control I have. Your life is literally in the hands of the pilot for hours. Flying overseas sounds like a nightmare.
I don't mind flying it's the taking off and landing that makes me sweat lol!
Jim should talk about his fear of bugs and snakes.
what do you mean bugs? I HATE bugs!!!
Jim's afraid of many, many things. It's why he's perpetually angry.
Don’t forget his fear of running a successful promotion. The guy hates HHH and now has to give him his flowers 😂
@@PhillyLeotardo25 dead flowers...🥀
Talk about bad flights... The reason I learned that Lubbock exists, is because as a child I loved Buddy Holly's music and it's his hometown. Next week is the 65th anniversary of his tragic death.
I'm with Jim, if I was meant to fly, i would have been born with wings
Exactly! Lol
If humans were meant to drive, they'd have wheels instead of legs
As someone who lives in Lubbock, that's a bad trip if you're going from El Paso to DFW and end up hundreds of miles in the wrong direction in Lubbock.
How do you think Jim would have felt when he discovered to fly from Midland/Odessa to El Paso, he had to go to Love Field and THEN head to El Paso? LOL
If you’re looking at a flat map, planes don’t fly in straight lines. Their routes are often arcs to account for the curvature of the earth. If you took that arc route and put it onto a 3D map and looked at it from the side, it would actually be straight. Flying over Lubbock to get to Dallas is the likely route they intended to fly.
@@zlinedavid Not from El Paso. It would add 2 hours to the trip. The normal flight pattern would take them no farther north than Lamesa, which is more than 60 miles south of Lubbock. I believe he said that flight was going into Love Field and the typical landing orientation there is just slightly coming in from the northwest. I've done entirely too much flying around this ridiculous state the last few years, due to Texas Tech having campuses popping up everywhere, and that El Paso to Dallas one is very straight.
@@joegreene7619I’ve never flown that route, so I can’t say for sure. You are correct on the Love Field routing though. I’ve landed there and at DFW more times than I care to think about.
Good job Travîs.
well, these are types of stories you want to listen to shortly before your first time going in a plane🤣.
I’ve only flown once, it was 27 years ago from Kansas City to Philadelphia to Frankfurt, Germany. The only issue I had was when my ears popped my left ear started bleeding, and I’ve still never regained full hearing in that ear, that experience was enough for me to never have any desire to fly again….
I have a bit of fear of flying as well, I've only taken a flight once and it honestly wasn't too bad, I am flying again this April to head to WrestleMania in Philadelphia 😁
Get a cheesesteak at John's Roast Pork, 14 E Snyder Ave, 19148
Oh that can be a mode in that Aew game. The wrestler's can fight on a plane and the object is to beat the opponent unconscious then parachute out of the plane into the aew arena. Aew flight mode brawl.
On a somewhat related note, you can actually fight in a plane cabin on one of those MDickie games.
There's even random wrestlers sitting down, completely unrelated to the match, as if they're just trying to catch a flight and a match broke out around them.
The last time I flew was in 2013 when 2K flew me to Cali to "playtest" their newest upcoming WWE video game. I wonder what Jim would say about that? :D
I was kind of afraid the first time that I flew (age 24) but quickly figured out a trick: watching how calm and totally unconcerned the flight attendants and other passengers were assured me that flying was a very routine and uneventful thing to do. The distressingly loud engine sounds during landing were (and still are) kind of scary but for the most part I quickly came to find flying to be a relaxing, sometimes even boring experience. I've legitimately had much more stressful times riding Greyhound.
Granted, I've been lucky enough never to experience heavy turbulence, either.
To be fair, any flight attendant would look nervous with Flair on the plane.
To some extent, I'm shocked Jim isn't more scared of driving, considering he's from Kentucky, and the few times I visited Kentucky, I found most people there can't drive for sh*t.😂
Being airborne is more frightening
@@westernsellers9148 I get it's a fear of heights thing that makes people fear flying. I'm just getting at a lot of people in Kentucky suck at driving. Jim is probably one of few that drives well, considering he's driven all over the U.S.
@@coryshannon3815Depends on what part of the state you’re in. Louisville and the area just south of Cincinnati actually border civilization, so it’s not quite as bad.
I think it's because when you're driving, you have some control of the situation. If you're flying, someone's flying you and if they fuck up, there's nothing you can do about it.
I never used to be afraid of flying, for my whole life I’d always been flying with my family sat with me. Last year was the first time I flew alone and it was the worst flight of my life, the turbulence was ridiculous, there was rain and thunder, babies screaming the whole way there and general unnerving feeling. Probably won’t fly alone ever again
But you don't have a fear of flying because of the dangers, you, like me, don't like flying because of the hassle, right?
862 straight ?!!dang Jim is a road warrior
I've been in three car accidents, four if you count incidents where the vehicle wasn't damaged but a person was. Never been in a plane crash, though!
Terrified of flying. All these plane malfunctions lately haven’t been helping.
I live in El Paso and I hate flying in and out in the spring time. The turbulence is bad.
I would love to know what Jim thinks of Toncontin Airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Did anyone else catch the Gilda Radner reference?
Is that thumbnail from the Twilight Zone episode?
Yes it is. The famous William Shatner episode, with the gremlin on the wing.
Look, here's the truth. No one in the comments has had anything more serious than an uncomfortable flight.
Just because you're scared doesn't mean there's anything to be afraid of. Even lightning strikes and mechanical faults, they get on to the ground. The main sad thing a fear of flying will cause is you miss out in life. Most of us aren't plane commuters like Jim was here.
That I75 trip from Florida to Kentucky is a bear. I wouldnt want to do that more than a few times in my life.
I've had bad luck at the DC airports. Delays, gate changes, near miss, mechanical issue. I just avoid DC airports now. Ain't pushing my luck...
Funny, Reagan airport is probably the nicest airport I've ever been to. That was years ago tho..
Oh give me DC Reagan over Atlanta any day. The sign over the door at the Atlanta airport shouldn’t say “Welcome to Hartsfeld-Jackson International Airport”. It should say “Abandon hope all ye who enter”.
No wonder Jim Cornette doesn't like to lie!! 😅
A.I can't advance fast enough if it can ultimately recreate the classic Twilight Zone episode with the Shatner role played by Jim Cornette as himself 😂
"Hey mutherfuker !!! There's mutherfuker on the mutherfuking wing !!! " 😂
I have never been on a plane but have such a fear of heights I freak out on a ferris wheel. I don't think I can get on a plane due to how high I'm going up.
I hear you there. Really steep stairs even get me, especially when climbing up them.
Oddly enough, I actually like flying. Probably helps that I've never been on a flight with serious turbulence though.
If you don't look out the window you have no idea how high you are. I too have a horrible fear of heights but don't have an issue with flying.
I’m with Jim on this one, fuck flying. 12:45
I was on a very well publicized incident in the 90s with my then fiance (now wife) we have not flown since. whenever we go to Europe it is via transatlantic cruise
Once I learned that planes will glide and make a landing if their engines fail it became a bit less scary but it’s still scary.
I don’t agree with Jim on a lot but flying is one. Even before 9/11 messed things up. Especially with recent thing that happened where the door blew off the plane of Alaskan airlines flight. I am so glad I haven’t had to fly since 2005.
That's nothing compared to the plane that took off from Miami and had to go right back because one of the engines was completely engulfed in flames just minutes after takeoff. Happened just last week.
@@joegreene7619 I didn’t hear about that but I am so glad I don’t fly
@@SuperMutant2099 I have no problem flying, but I totally understand people who do. Also, almost all of the terrible stories recently are Boeing. If you have to fly, try to get on an Airbus and preferably from a European or Asian carrier.
I can only imagine how bad it is. I hate flying I’ll do it, but not before a few drinks. Then im cool. Though I don’t know if I need the drinks before the flight or just to get through all bs before the flight.
This may be an all-time thumbnail by Travis
I watched Final Destination 1 & 2 so i'd assume being on the same flight as them would INCREASE the chances because of the plan
If Jim had to drive it now he would probably choose flying. I-24 and I-75 from Nashville to Atlanta is a total clusterf**k! Plus, I live on Monteagle Mountain and that has turned into a giant headache with all the extra traffic.
Going through Atlanta in general just sucks. There’s always traffic issues and the Atlanta airport is either the third or fourth circle of Hell.
The only thing i don't like about flying. Is the landing part. Thats the only part that gets my nerves up a little.

I have a fear of flying too. The flying death tube in the sky. I remember Jim Cornette calling it that and I wholeheartedly agree. Nothing else scares me. Snakes, spiders, heights, clowns, horror movies, none of it ever bothered me. Except flying. Fuck that shit. I actually sent Jim an email question once within the past couple years about his fear of flying. Good to hear this story.
I'm not afraid of flying. I'm afraid of these nuts they let on the plane's. Just last week someone on a plane tried to open the door while the plane was at 5000 ft in the air.
It's not unusual. John Madden had a very famous fear of flying. I dont particularly like getting on airplanes due to a close call back in the early 90s.
I had a terrible flight from Boston to Reno. Some of the worst, constant turbulence. I indeed drove home, from Reno back to Boston. I've gotten far better at flying but that was a BAD flight
I actually saw that plane coming home from college in the river. I thought it was gonna sink.
I used to fly all the time when I was younger and didn’t know any better. The older I get the less inclined I am to get on a plane, and in fact I have been on far fewer planes. Which isn’t to say that I haven’t traveled - I did drive by myself from Maine to California and then from there to Colorado a few years ago. Wouldn’t want to do that again any time soon.
Jim Cornette's uneasiness of flying reminds me of my actual sister; since she has to have a drink before getting on any airplane
I’ve driven from the Bay Area to LA and back the same day for wrestling shows (and concerts) a few times. That’s about a 700 mile round trip.
Fu@& flying lol.
Had a fear of flying until 2015, at 31 going on 32. I don't fear it anymore. My baby brother still does, and has refused to ever fly.

I love flying but I'm afraid of heights.
I think it's something to do with a flight feeling somewhat like a bus ride when you're not experiencing turbulence, landing, or taking off.
Climbing a mountain though? Hell no. I'm not even comfortable on really steep stairs.
100% the same for me.
Also I hope you can talk about WWE Raw Netflix deal so watching Netflix and chill has whole new meaning lol
Never been on a plane my entire life
As someone who flies several times a year for work, trust me, you’re not missing much.
True story...trolls can troll me if they want! 2001 or so Im returning from a business convention in Vegas! Going to DC. Massive turbulance, I look and see Booker T and Sharmel, I just close my eyes, go to sleep thinking, God wont take me and Booker and his wife in the same crash! Sure enough, we made it! Never flew again! 😂
The artwork is fantastic 😂
if you fly, you can't stop at Wendy's every 4 hours for a triple with extra cheese, extra mayo, pickle and onions!
As a guy with fear of flying..I get this.
I haven't been on a plane in years, since 2008. Not that I'm afraid of flying it's just nowhere abroad interests me. Actually I'm a little antsy about flying in the future if I do end up going abroad given the aforementioned time it'd been since I've flown. Doesn't help that u like watching air crash investigation. I know flying is statistically safe but I think its the fear of being in the unlucky category is why people get turned off of flying.
After 9/11 I vowed to never fly again. Because with my shitty luck. The plane I’d get on would crash. Fuck. That.
I can see Corny holding on for deer life sweating bullets while flying no wonder he has such a fear of flying
You're more likely to die on a highway or in your bathtub
It’s a Damn Death Tube!
Think he meant AmTrak. "Amtramck" sounds like the city within Detroit.
I used to fly as a kid and teenager and once as an adult before i became aware of my mortality. I know its safer than cars and all that shit but nothing can escape the fact that you're way up in the air with the small potential to have the worst death ever with everyone screaming and evacuating their bowels. No thanks
I feel the same way about cars. Death machines that people treat like dodgems. No thanks, I'll take the bus or train, or better yet walk.
Eh, even if the plane went down, it'd likely be very quick. I'd think drowning or burning alive would be worse deaths.

Has Jim ever told why he's afraid of flying? Did he have a bad experience at some point, or is it just complete dislike of the planes, and all the stories of crashes that he's heard about?
Be glad you didn't land at Yeager airport (CRW) it's a scary landing.
Flying is safe it’s crashing that’s dangerous
Being inside a plane, sitting next to people for several hours in the middle of the air does not sound like a good time.
Cornette is comedy gold!!
I don't have a fear of flying I have a fear of crashing.
What started Jim’s fear of flying?
Jim's afraid of damn near everything. It's where his anger issues stem from. He's also a control freak, and many serious control freaks struggle with flying, as they aren't in control of the travel.
I'd imagine the crash that broke Flair's back

Love ya Jim, but this one definitely goes into the Yelling At Clouds file.
To answer that last question: seatbelts and fat ppl
How many flights with flair did Jim see the package
He’s afraid to fly because they would have to check out his luggage and it’s filled with sex toys.
Looks like fear of flying is the real reason Cornette doesn't want to work for WWE or AEW.
