Well..I wouldn't go that far lol there is alot of good shows out there . Although I haven't had time to sit and watch a show in a long time. I appreciate the interest and thanks for tuning in! The continued interest of these videos keeps this channel and this series alive.
Ive spent pretty much my entire life in awe of Kurt Cobain and his story. I used everything I could to build a story that seems plausible, by using events that happened and things that could have happened based on those events. I prefer to not just make up my own stuff and spew it out, it took a long time to reach these conclusions. Thanks for tuning in!
This is 😎 AF! THANK YOU SO MUCH for creating this "what if" imaginary series. It is VERY interesting and even therapeutic for a Gen X who was 20 when Kurt committed suicide. I completely understand about the transition from, say, a TASCAM 4-TRACK in the early 1990s, to PRO TOOLS in the late 1990s. This speaks volumes to me and is very healing. Along with when Dave Grohl created the FOO FIGHTERS and "STICK AROUND" right after Kurt was lost. Keep on going! This "what if" alternative ending writing is healing for the GEN X psyche and other GENERATIONS! ❤
You are a fantastic writer! I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I have a question thought, up to what year in the series do you have written?
This is cool!! You should try adding where Nirvana encounters greenday or Radiohead possibly weezer? If the band ends up making music again before the 2000s. It’d be cool! To se how it would go
No easy task what you have taken on. It may be the ultimate in fan fiction. That being said you are doing a good job, a believable job (very important) and a very entertaining piece. Good luck the rest of the way.
I remember watching one Kurt Cobain lived video and it only went up until like 2000 and the years were like a minute long I see what they were trying to do but this is much better
LETS GOOOOOO!!! YES!!! YEEEEEEEES!!! Also, Kurt REALLY let himself go according to the Photoshop photos of him, which is what I expected, I kind of expected him to slightly worsen over time
If he had stayed on heroin to this point he'd be a skeleton. Without it he kind of ages normally. I did not edit the face in any of the pictures. He looked like that previously, I only ever edit the hair or beard
@@Aj61406 it pretty much is. Just Kurt's regular face with edited hair. Done very quickly lol The black and white filter kinda makes it look uncanny a bit
Loving this series so far 🤘would love to have Kurt and Elliott Smith working together included in the story. I strongly believe those two would have surpassed Lennon/McCartney had they collaborated.
This is a nice fanfic. I wonder if you could talk about Kurt meeting with the rest of Guns N' Roses and tries to get along with Axl Rose in your future videos. I also wonder if you could talk about Kurt meeting with the rest of Metallica since he already met Kirk Hammett.
Wow this is very interesting quite turn of events. So far I started writing in my notebook and my timeline is quite until the end of 1995 and 1986 where the changes happen where Kurt goes back to rehab again for his downer pill addiction and getting off Methadone in February 1996 where Kurt fires Dave Grohl but since he went back to treatment Krist and Pat stayed in the band and eventually Taylor Hawkins after the 4th album is complete. And Kurt starts dating Gwen Stefani. I cannot wait what you got in store for 1998. I have to say Kurt would looked bad ass bald.
Question: does Eldon Hoke AKA El Duce still get hit by a train in this timeline? I’m asking because of the connection to the Kurt-Courtney-murder conspiracy theory thing.
I like the Jeff Buckley reference,Allthouth it sad that did not at least did one demo together, but I do understand that Jeff Buckley had to die (Ps:in this timeline would think that Jeff’s last few demos (aka Sketches for My Sweetheart The Drunk )before his death was meant to be recorded, and later mixed by Kurt, since the call was around the time where Jeff was recording the unfinished album, and since the Sketches for My Sweetheart Drunk would be released in May,98,I wonder how would Kurt think of the tracks that they could have made, hope he makes a song about Jeff Buckley). (Ps:a bit to much of a fan of Jeff’s work)
Unfortunately for Jeff, the timing was just not right.. Kurt being alive couldn't stop Jeff from dying the same way he does in the real timeline. It unfortunately, was Jeff's fate. Much like Kristin Pfaff in 1994. Kurt not dying wouldn't have saved her. She died under a special set of circumstances that I believe wouldn't have changed regardless of Kurt dying or not. Much like Jeff Buckley. May they both rest in peace
@@westnioa5268 there is a mention of Jeff Buckley in 1998. In which Kurt offers to produce a post humous release of Jeff's, he regrets not getting to work with him sooner and felt like it would be a good tribute to Jeff to do so. Stay tuned
So Far this has been a cool series to listen to. certainly, better than most of the crap out there today. I've had my own sort of timeline that i worked on for a while just for fun as well... one of the things i always thought would have been a big help to them in the end would have been to permanently cancel the rest of the European tour, but draw up a better deal for both Lollapalooza and Woodstock.. Kurt stays in rehab until the start of the tour, which should only be 10-15 dates total if that. during down time at rehab and on that tour, he draws up divorce papers which give Courtney the Lake Washington House and nothing else. The money earned from the tour, helps to settle any remaining lawsuits and obligations, save 1 album. After the tour is done by September 1994, the band goes on indefinite hiatus, which lasts for a solid couple of years. In this time, Kurt gets off heroin, using methadone to do so, and focuses on caring for Frances, with the help of a Nanny... but relocates to the Carnation house, where he builds a recording studio along the lines of a miniature Pachyderm (where In Utero was made). While he still has his ups and downs/ battles with weening off of Methadone and assorted downers from time to time, he becomes a recluse for much of the mid 90s, perhaps emerging to work with Mark Lanegan and Michael Stipe, assorted solo materials for low budget cult films, independent producer, but eventually Nirvana reform briefly to put out one last album.... Rohypnol is a good name for it for sure. perhaps around 1997 it comes out. Getting away from the obligations (and courtney) as quick and painlessly in the long run is what would have made the difference in a more stable future.
@@Ecollado670 who's to say the story has to end. I explained to someone once that It's called of Kurt Cobain Lived, not "If Kurt Cobain Died At A Later Date"
jeff buckley lore with kurt is crazy. love that kurt has a buzz cut look. seems like something that he’d do. great series
This series is more entertaining than 90% of most shows today
LOL

Agreed. 1994 was a cruel year.
I love the covers to the singles. They’re awesome, especially Talk To Me
You are a fantastic writer! I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I have a question thought, up to what year in the series do you have written?
1998, from what I can tell.
If I were Kurt in 1997, I would convince Krist to come back into the band to give Nirvana a second chance at life, and just carry on from there.
I love this, massive fan of Nirvana, great work man, hope your channel grows and you can make more content like this!

I've always seen short videos and articles about the subject, but never a full fledged series of detailed events. Figured I'd give it a shot
