You have to see the video of the live version of this with the group because the lead singer and the man playing the saxophone are absolutely drop dead gorgeous British group
The song by PM Dawn you’re referring to is “Set Adrift on Memory Bliss”. And yes they did sample this song. “True” was released in 1983 and PM Dawn’s song was released in 1991.

This one is the original and always will be.
Listen to the music💖
Very nice! Interesting too when you sang along with the music at 15:05. My cat appreciated it and tried to harmonize.
Listen to the music is just a feel good song. Whenever it plays on my playlist I always turn it up and just relax as I’m riding my motorcycle through the hills. Just a happy song
Didn’t seem that way with Savio. He sat there like a statue
Hi i have just watched your reaction to Spandau Ballets True , I think Gary Kemp song writer and pianist of the band wrote this song as a love song to Clare Grogan the lead singer of the band Altered Images in the early 1980s also actress and presenter, he was infatuated with her. But he was to shy to tell her how he felt so he wrote this song True in 1983, glad you loved the song as it is a pure work of art , and the intro to the song helped make PM Dawn famous around the world in 1991. Great reaction keep up the good work.
Really loved True and dancing to it in the day, so happy you played it and such great reactions, really brought back good memories. Thanks Enoma
When I hear this song it reminds me of my daughter watching MTV in the 80's.
The song True is gold !! One of my favs of the 80's
You guys stay safe.
LOVE YOU TWO!!!!!
We all need some Doobies right about now.
True was one of my favorite slow songs in middle school.
As a kid in the 80's, I thought they sang "This march is true". So I assumed it was a song about a protest march or something.
Like, good on you. You found a worthy cause to march for!
Oh, and the PM Dawn song is called "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss". It samples "True" and the music video features a cameo by Spandau Ballet's lead singer, Tony Hadley.
No doubt, This is one of the song markable in my teen life. Thanks
@Enoma. I have only came across your reaction videos today, and I hope you both do not get offended by what I am about to say, as I mean this in the most genuine sincerity: the first is namaste, and the second is that you two are the most beautiful and adorable couple I have ever seen. I have so much genuine and heartfelt admiration for you both. I would like to thank you both for bringing absolute joy and love into my life, despite you two and I being complete strangers. If I could choose my own family members, I would choose you two in a heartbeat. Much love from this soppy English half cast man.
This is also from the 80s movie sixteen candles.
Spandau Ballet is a white English band started in 1980.
You two are adorable!
The best record they made listen 2 gold by them
Gracias por compartir esta experiencia musical gracias. Saludos desde Argentina
Great song. Need to listen to Long Train Runnin'
You should also check out Gold by Spandau Ballet as well. Another of their best songs.
Kirti, why do i have the feeling that your son is going to ask you in a couple of days why you keep saying "ah, hah, hah, hah, hah"? It is a catchy part of the song
... "Its just one of those deja vu things" :-))
Your very good at analyzing music.
Remember the All India radio song in the 90s ?
you guys have bobble heads lol
I have a good idea for your reactions. Take song from the original artist and played against the copy, see which is better like SANTANA VERSION Black Magic Woman to the artist that made it Fleetwood Mac or Child in Time Deep Purple or Bombay calling the original song by Its a Beautiful Day. Just got different titles. It was not stolen just change material. By the way like hearing veidos your wife such a lady and you are informed well. And no bad lanaguage
1 morbidly obese guy, and 1 not so morbidly obese guy.... hahaha... love it!...you guys are great, so real and natural
If you like saxophone listen to Lily Was Here - Candy Dulfer. No words, but a great listen
There are lots of great songs with saxophone in them. Your Latest Trick by Dire Straits is one if my favs.
“True” is a good song on the surface but it is very superficial. There are no depth to the lyrics and it is very redundant. Of course, this is coming from a Pink Floyd fan in which almost every song sees like Kurt Vonnegut wrote it.
Should've watched the actual video cuz the lyrics are wrong
This guy is white
