  • MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. Justice Minister Arif Virani faces questions about the pro-Palestinian protest encampments at McGill University in Montreal and the University of Toronto. Immigration Minister Marc Miller also comments briefly on the McGill encampment.
    Liberal MPs Kody Blois and Sean Casey are asked about demonstrations outside the constituency offices of members of Parliament. The questions come amid planned protests against the carbon tax outside the offices of Liberal and NDP MPs on May 3.
    Heritage Minister Pascale St-Onge and Liberal MP Francis Drouin respond to questions about a plan to reportedly bring the English and French services of CBC and Radio-Canada closer together. Drouin is also asked about protests outside MP offices.
    NDP deputy leader Alexandre Boulerice, Bloc Québécois natural resources critic Mario Simard, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, and Green MP Mike Morrice react to the new report on Canada's greenhouse gas emissions.
