    This doesn't work anymore, the Midi Listener Settings is not available in the propresent configuration in Companion :(

    how to do, if the companion is not on the same PC as ProPresenter?Loopback looks like works only if the ProPresenter and Companion on the same device. And also if we are using Companion 3, it looks like the ProPresenter module has no midi options

    What's the Mac equivalent of Loopmidi? Also I followed this and I can see midi being receieved in LoopMidi but my button won't trigger..driving me nuts :(

      On Mac the equivalent software is Audio MIDI Setup. However Pro7 on Mac supports more communication protocols than just MIDI, and RossTalk is a lot easier to setup for communicating with Companion. Paul Clifford has a tutorial on how to set it up, and I recommend it over MIDI.

      If you're on PC and it's not working, check which Companion version you're using. MIDI was added around Companion version 2.2.0, and works through 2.x. However Companion 3.x changed internal permissions, so this no longer works. Downgrade to 2.4.x, and try again.
