A how-to for making ProPresenter's lyrics pop with the beat, by changing Looks in the middle of the song.
There's 3 buttons, for Previous/Next Slide, and "Click Same Slide". Each button uses the API to set the Look, so slide transitions are normal, but the 'Click Same Slide' button triggers a different Look. This way a different Look can include a Build, so the lyrics will pop on the screen, and you can manually tap the lyrics in sync with the beat.
The trick is using ProPresenter's API to find what the current slide is, then triggering the same slide. This used 2 custom variables in Companion, to GET /presentation/slide_index, then use a JSON expression to pull out presentation_index.index into a second variable. The variable is used to trigger the specific slide, using /presentation/active/$[the variable]/trigger. 250ms of delays are added to make sure things happen in the proper order.
