I love magic. I would Ski over to Timber Ridge and back when I was a kid. Timber ridge had these really rolling Flowey trails ,and were super fun! When I got older a friend and I camped near the summit, without a tent, and a huge Thunderstorm rolled in. We had to go sleep in one of the little pump house shacks!

Hi Aanika! I am Trish, your Mom's old college friend. I really enjoyed seeing your family skiing together. Eva is still beautiful as ever! Keep the video's coming. You are doing a great job!

I literally had a chill go through me here in hot Florida as I heard the crunch of those boots walking over to the starting area!!

Grew up on Magic ... great stuff... actually skied quite a bit with two girls whose parents owned the Snowdon Motel down the street on Rt.11. Their names were Aanaline and Minika (Danish I believe) ... and I use to tease them by calling them Aanika and Miniline... so when I saw your name come up I thought for a second that it was one of them or their daughter but I suspect not. Keep the vids comin!

That's so cool! A lot of people mistake my name for Danish or Swedish, but my family is actually Estonian. I love their names too, though.
Where do you ski now, Mr. Dennis?

@@aanikaskis We ski all over. The family will be back at Magic later this month but have been roaming around NH and VT this year given travel restrictions. I use to ski with a guy from Estonia and although have never been there, have heard that there is some good snow. He was a pretty good skier. Here is a quick vid of Wildcat... not nearly as engaging as yours but there are some fun elements. ua-cam.com/video/35jyIoGrBhs/v-deo.html Again.... keep your vids comin, they're great!!

Magic is pure magic. Skied there in 1970. Did I say how old I am !!! It’s been rough for Magic. But somehow they have made it. Steep and deep my friends.

    Bloopers are the BEST! 😂
Can you do a video on slang and terminology (no idea what the colours mean) as well as some equipment and different types or what you like to use?
Looking forward to seeing your next big adventures!

Nice video! As a lodge dad I’d love a quick video about the logistics of parking and lodge setup...I’m always wondering how complicated it will be to get my kid from the car to the lodge to the lift and where to put bags and if there’s a shuttle etc. for pretty much any new hill. For example Gunstock turns out to have a heap of uphill walking to get to the bunny zone and that was a nasty surprise, but Berkshire East turned out to be super close and smooth...that car to lift transition with kids never gets any airtime, would love to know more! Thx!

That's so true! The logistics of all of that can be really complicated and someone with anxiety, I know I appreciate a little more understanding before hand.
I do know it depends on each mountain, but I'll try to show a little more about that for my next videos. This year is definitely more complicated with the covid restrictions.
Thank you for the comment! We appreciate all the Lodge Friends

I sure enjoyed skiing again with the video. Much safer than when I actually skied. I really liked the skier shadow play and I loved Aanika's facial expressions at the end lol. I also loved getting the glimpses of Alar and Eva. Miss you Eva. And where was Tiivo in all of this?

Thank you! I'm glad I could give you the feeling of skiing along!
Tiivo didn't make it that day, but he'll be featured a lot in the next video ☺️

i love your glades footage😍 i’m interested in knowing your opinions on groomed trails versus un-groomed (moguls?) because while i definitely prefer groomed trails, i want to hear your perspective on both!
also, what’s the biggest mountain you’ve ever skiied at (in the world or in north america), and what’s the smallest?
    ❤️❄️
