What a great setup. I'm glad that you see the value of tool brands other than Snap On. Don't get me wrong, I love my Snap On tools. But nowadays there are many great tool brands that are 90-95% as good.
I am also a industrial mechanic , to me it’s the hardest trade because we do everything , I build full robotic process cells , welding , mechanical, electrical control , PLC you name it a industrial mechanic can do it ! No offense but working on cars and trucks is child’s play boys
There's stethoscope with a magnetic end that comes in real handy. It frees up your hands to wiggle and Jimmy things to locate noises. It looks a lot like yours. I think Lisle makes it.
Nice variety 🛠definitely want to see the box at home. I have the same green stream light flashlight 🔦 great light. You’re sure right about Matco we don’t have a dealer, we are not in there territory? Had a dealer doing us a favor and coming around for a while did take a while to warranty stuff sometimes if he had to order, but when corporate found out he was coming there they told him he couldn’t don’t they want to sell tools? One of the guys at the shop is switching his Matco tool to Snap-On. No matter where you work there is most likely a Snap-On dealer coming there.

So now they don’t have a dealer to warranty their stuff. Snap on is always there every week the man is consistent

I recently broke a craftsman extension and lowes warrantied out for me, try going there they even cut open a set because they didn't have it individually great customer service👍 also great vid.
Looks like you have the Armstrong made craftsman professional wrenches. I used to have the SK made pros, ended up selling them and buying directly from sk since they had so many skips and obviously are no longer us made.

Thank you for watching. I would recommend it as a career. The sky is the limit with wages in my opinion. I took classes and got certified in basic motor & motor drive, robotics, hazardous waste operations & emergency response, welding technology and I completed hvac trade school about 2 years ago. I got my epa 608 & r410a universal certification. I also completed a few plc training classes. 17 years experience in the field also helps. Good certs to have also in this field that are simple to get. Sometimes employers offer them is OSHA/CPR/first aid and forklift.
Nice tools man. You can't buy any better sockets, ratchets, wrenches any better then SnapOn. Yes they are overpriced, but he's there every week for you to buy from, or fix your tools that are broken. All tools will break, but SnapOn will hold up better the any other brand for the most part. And, over 86% are still made in the USA. But, saying that, buy whatever brand you like the best. Period!
RCMOTO as a Industrial mech/tech since 04-05’ish but I started wrenching on cars around 98’ when I was 16-17 and is how I got into the industrial field, I was recommended because I was mechanically inclined. I have gone through a lot of tools, carts and boxes at home and work. I bought a lot of cheap tools when I started and eventually got tired of cheap tools and at the time I “upgraded” to craftsman along with other brands like Klein and Gearwrench. Once I started making a decent living I started buying truck brands and have been slowing changing out my home and work sets although I kept a lot. I continued to change tools and moving them from home to work to selling them off and eventually going to what I have now. If you follow my ig I’ll be posting the phases I went through of brands. I had huge cornwell, Mac and Matco sets I sold off. I buy tools weekly and continuously changing or replacing. It’s a curse really. I also graduated from hvac school a couple years ago so I’ve been buying tools for that since then aswell. It’s an on going thing.
Yes I’ve used and have owned those. I still have proto. I gave away my sk and Williams. I regretted it later. This was early on when I didn’t know too much about them
