If you buy longer eyehooks then only screw them in half way.... then over time as the wires stretch due to weight bearing plants all you have to do is turn your eye hook ans it will tighten them
That’s a great idea! I imagine that we won’t have any weight issues with the wires since the vines are so light but will keep that in mind for the future!
Great editing, great to the point, visually fast, perfect b/c we are excited and ready to plant and have hard time sitting through any videos. And to see the results grown in and whole family helping. Dynamite!!!
Thank you for showing this great idea! I just made my own wire trellis yesterday and will plant my jasmine today! Your video is really very helpful. Thanks a lot!!
Very clever design. Once the vine grows out, you are not even aware that the trellis structure is a cheap thin wire. The plant creates the illusion of an elegant structure.
Hi Frisco, TX. Just frond your channel. Video was really well done. Great editing and project was great. Now off to watch what brought me here. Toja Grid. Have a Fantastic Easter.
I love your idea I did this type of trellis with higher cost using galvanized wire rope and galvanized conduit 10ft poles with chain link 90 degree elbows it love the wire option so happy to have come across your video
I used 14 gauge wire that is at Lowe’s in the picture hanging supplies area (at least it is in my local Lowe’s) and is called multi-purpose wire). Hope this helps!
Thank you! I can’t remember the exact ones but I believed they were these www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-208-Zinc-Plated-Steel-Screw-Eye-50-Piece-per-Pack-803242/204273864

I like the way you filmed the construction. Your son his adorable. Thanks
This is awesome! I love the diamond pattern. Looking to do something similar on my deck for some vine-veggies, a bit of privacy, and beauty.
This is a perfect idea for some privacy!

Hi there, thanks so much for showing your process! Can I ask what diameter wire you were using for this? 1/8th"? Thanks!@
I used 14 gauge wire that is at Lowe’s in the picture hanging supplies area (at least it is in my local Lowe’s) and is called multi-purpose wire). Hope this helps!
Great idea!!
Mom Mom thank you! I love it!
👍👍 awesome
Thank you!
What gauge of wire did you use?
What concrete anchor did you use that for the hook screw? Looks great!!
We used a plastic multipurpose anchor that’s for masonry. Thanks!!
Love this. Inspirational ! I have the perfect spot for this. What vine did you use ?
Oh that’s so exciting! I used star jasmine!
What vines did you use?
I used star jasmine which are really fast growing and do really well here in central Texas!
Looks really good, great job! What plant did you plant on it?
Thanks so much! We planted 2 Star Jasmine because they’re fast growing and hardy. They grew over the whole trellis in one season!
Great idea. What size are these hooks and are they galvanised or stainless steel?
Thank you! I can’t remember the exact ones but I believed they were these www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-208-Zinc-Plated-Steel-Screw-Eye-50-Piece-per-Pack-803242/204273864
Can you do an update on this one? How is it looking?
I actually just did one! ua-cam.com/video/LiMoBEyFv6E/v-deo.html
So each line was a separate piece of wire?
Yes, that’s the way I found to be the easiest but I have seen some people do it in a way that it’s all one piece.
What's the plant name which climbed the trellis???
It’s called star jasmine!
Next time hold the hammer at the bottom, it works better that way. Nice trellis
Thank you!
Be more convinient to build a frame & just attatch to the space
