Honest conversations about being alone are so important. I know that I struggle with going out alone due to anxiety and I have to really push myself to do things as small as going to a store to make a return. Thank you for being so candid and sharing your experience.

I met my husband at 34 and married him at 39… you have so much time to meet someone 💖💕 i alway said I wish I knew I was going to meet him.. I would have spent so much less time worrying and crying about being single. I know where you are at, I was there for a long time and it’s tough but you have a great attitude. Every thing will fall into place!

Listening to you at the end of the vlog was so emotional for me because I hear my voice in yours. I just turned 36... that clock you hear is the same one I hear. I needed to know that I'm not the only one with these struggles. I often feel like no one else understands. Life is beautiful even without a relationship, but it's so difficult sometimes to focus on the great things you have in your life when you're missing those few things you desire and thought you'd have by this point... someone to love and be loved by. Commitment. A family. Thank you for being brave enough to share. Thank you for showing me I'm not the only one.
Natalie, I’m only 4 minutes in but I just have to stop and say that everything about you is just so attractive. I don’t just mean how beautiful you are, your eyes, your genuine simile, the lighter colour of your hair lighting up your face… but your personality, your soul is just so attractive! as someone who got married at 27, separated at 29, and is currently in the midst of divorce - i can absolutely relate. i wanted kids by now. i wanted a family and thought that was where we were headed. i feel you so hard. all of my friends are getting married and having babies right now and it can feel draining to be constantly celebrating something that you wanted and didn’t pan out yet. something that brings me peace is knowing a life with someone who wasn’t right for me would be so unsatisfying and stressful (like my past relationship was). so many ppl stay in relationships that are wrong because they’re scared to be alone. we owe it to ourselves to be complete, independent people and if someone fits into our lives, it’ll fall into place. love you so much

Thanks for sharing this Natalie, I turned 30 in April and found out shortly after my husband who I have been with since I was 18 was having an affair, this year has took an unexpected turn but to see you doing all this and having this attitude has given me the boost to get on with my life and stop wasting time. i know a few people who married young and say the same things! they make a point to spend time away from their partners and they say their relationships are stronger because of it!

Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing so much about your journey. In the past few months I’ve been trying to purposefully spend time by myself because I’ve felt scared to do so (or just didn’t think I could have fun by myself because I love companionship). It’s been so liberating. But I haven’t taken myself on a trip or date - you’ve inspired me to do so!

I'm partnered but we both make time for alone time and I cannot stress how important it is to spend time with yourself. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊 it can be really hard to go out and do things by yourself especially after a breakup. I had a bad breakup years ago and ended up taking a vacation to hawaii by myself. It was the best thing I ever did. Before that, I had never really done things by myself. Keep pushing yourself to enjoy life! Things will work out 😀❤

I believe everything happens for a reason, whether we see it right away or in the future. Natalie, your video showed up on my recommendations and I am so grateful that it did. I was meant to see it. I needed to see it. I’m 24, going to be 25 in December. I’m the oldest in my friend group and the only one not in a relationship. They’re all getting engaged, meanwhile, I’ve never been in a relationship before. Thank you for sharing this video because you’ve shown me that I don’t need to be in a relationship in order to live my life. I can do everything on my own and I deserve to do that. As everyone has commented - this is a beautiful video with a message that is so rarely shared in the way you did. I want to validate how painful it can feel to draw conclusions about yourself and your worthiness based on this socially prescribed life that is *everywhere* and the notion that hitting various milestones signals one has "made it" in life.

Natalie, you are doing good,, so many of us are alone for so many different reasons, i tell my friends Never settle just to not be alone, you value yourself and that is what you are in charge of for yourself. Soul mates are not just the lover in your life, soul mates are friends that you will never be without no matter how far you go from eachother.... You are a beautiful women and its ok to check ourselves like you have done in this video.. there will be sad times But remember this is growth for you and what we imagined our lives to be and where we actually are in life is usually always different places... keep going strong,, embrace the hard times and sadder times so that you remind yourself of the true women you are building everyday,,,,,, Being Positive is work but it rubs onto others and you'll never know how you are touching peoples lives but Believe me You Are!
