Maurice’s has a great new Jean called the “mid fit”. More for apple shapes like me. They always fit perfectly.
I started shopping at ON during their ad campaign for all sizes. I immediately feel in love with their jeans. OG straight, size 24 or OG curvy, size 24, if I want a 7/8 length jeans. I have both zip and button fly and they are a perfect fit. Of course, I'm in my late 50's and like my jeans loose and baggy, a style younger folks do not want. But, I now have to order them online, can't find them in the store. Same with sweat shirts and sweaters. It really ticks me off. As a plus size, I have to plan my outfits well ahead of time because I can't run into a store and get a last minute anything. I've emailed ON after every single trip to a store to complain.

I got in the habit of purchasing online during Covid so I’m used to not going in the store to try on clothes. I’m just glad they sell plus sizes now. Their regular prices seem higher now but they have sales all the time. FYI - they do not accept returns at the store anymore. You do the returns at Staples. Bummer if you just want to exchange an item.

ITA about their denim! Never works for me. Instant camel toe. The best jeans I’ve tried lately have been from Arula (I’m a size 14/16).

I just don’t understand why stores do this. Are plus sized people just not making purchases? I remember American Eagle expanding their jean sizes and watching so many people so happy to finally be able to wear their jeans and then they just stopped carrying the larger sizes in almost every style (last time I looked, anyway). I just want to know why it’s being tried and not working.
i fully believe it’s just not being given the full chance, honestly. big campaigns to start it off are being done and then it trickles. not a ton of plus influencers doing sponsorships/less visibility. plus people over 2X/3X aren’t used to being able to shop in store so we just need more time to learn our options.

I was just in a Old Navy at a outlet mall and noticed some 3xls but not much. I was very disappointed to notice they took out the bigger sizes after only having them in for a short time. For us bigger girls it is not so easy shopping online for things as we are not one size fits all. As you pointed out a lot of their items run big and that is a lot of reason it would be better to have things in store for the bigger sizes too. I did end up finding a cute little dress in a 3xl and bought it. I probably should have sized down in it but didn't.
i haven’t been to an outlet old navy! are the prices much better? shopping online is so tedious and that’s why i tend to stick to brands i’ve shopped for years because i finally know the sizing inside and out.
@@nataliemeansnice yes there was sales all over the store. Up to I think 50% off some things. I think I paid close to half off for my dress. We love going to outlet malls. The reason I finally checked out this store the first time was cause they had that campaign. I had never thought they had my size or it would be to hard to figure it out online.

I am a straight sized girl but I have the same issue with old navy jeans!!!! The sizing is all weird and always extra fabric in the crotch!!!

ooh tysm for trying on that crochet dress swim coverup! ON has gotten my attention with their one shoulder and halter neck styles, but was hesitant to try the crochet dress lest it either not fit at all, or leave me with handfuls of bulky fabric. Kind of a relief to hear others experience the size gap ON leaves occasionally where there is no good fit in any size of an item. Currently am between their 2X and 3X and only shop online.
I loved the items you ended up purchasing, they looked great on you! For some reason I still don't feel comfortable shopping in Old Navy which is kinda sad but I guess I see that as more my problem.

I loved the jumpsuit, the red top was really cute as well. The tan dress was super cute. I may get the jumpsuit for myself. My store still have the larger sizes in store however like yourself I'm a 22/24 I do have more options.
I like some of Old Navy's stuff but not enough to pay for shipping to and from if it does not work. Besides, I am a 4X. Anything cute in that size is always already sold out when I look online. I just spend my money at Torrid instead. 🙅♀
**Not trying to take anything away from your experience** As someone who is an xs with size 5 shoes and 4.7 ring size, I have similar experiences. I feel that if you aren't the "typical size/height" you are left out most of the time. I understand that they want to cater to and carry sizes of the most popular sizes but it would be great to see a huge size range as a normal occurrence in consumerism.

Same things happened with American Eagle!! Except now they aren't even carrying extended sizes online.....they go up to a 20 online. *eyeroll*
My local Old Navy has definitely gotten rid of plus size. 16 is the largest size for pants and xxl is the largest size.
I like Old Navy and I think their prices are nice, however because their sizes vary so much I don't ever order online. I feel like I have to go in store to try on everything or I am going to be ordering and shipping back and forth until I find the right sizes. I am generally a 16-18 so I am fortunate to still be able to shop in store. And I found that yes everything they have runs bigger and more generous except the jeans. Those have been very tricky for me and I have never been able to find a pair that I like enough to purchase. Love watching your videos!
i found the old school ‘rockstar’ cut to be good but i’m wanting to try other cuts of denim that aren’t skinny and that’s where i’m running into a mess at old navy. :/ i can’t believe they don’t offer free shipping due to them just sweepingly taking so much away.

Old Navy is definitely a place I need to shop in store because I don’t feel like their sizing is consistent. I have clothes from them ranging from a xxl-4x depending on the cut and what it is. If I can’t shop all their sizes in store, I probably won’t shop with them at all.
I love old navy but do find sizing very inconsistent. H and M would be something I would like to see.
The thing I don't understand is that every Old Navy that I have been to over the past couple of years was mostly sold out in the larger sizes so why pull those sizes they were obviously selling well. I also have issues with their denim, they fit strangely.
Do you think it may be sold out due to only having a couple of each item in plus size rather than an abundance?
I can understand maybe not having up to 4X and 28/30 in every store, but I think that every market should have the extended sizes maybe 1-2 store. I’m a 3X and a 24 old navy jeans don’t fit me. I work at a Old Navy and once in a while, we do get 3X in the store, but not very often.
it’s so so disheartening 😩 it just feels so intentional for brands to leave us out.
Old Navy denim sizing is CRAZY! I've been a size 20 and now a size 8 and I can never find jeans there that fit properly.

I am such a fan of that white shirt dress you tried on. I have it in black and it's one of my favorite dresses right now. So great for really hot days.
Regarding the lack of inclusivity at ON, one of my biggest gripes is the fact that they offer a petite option in only some of their items. Why?!?! Often when I go on their website, I'll see a really cute dress but I'll find they only offer it in regular and tall sizes, which means it won't fit my 5 foot 1 inch frame properly. If they are willing to offer petite sizing in some of their clothes, why not go all the way and offer a petite equivalent on every single clothing item?
For me, Old Navy denim is just never a win. They are so small compared to other brands. I can always size down in tops, though. Very puzzling. I am in the Memphis area and my stores still have a lot of 3x and some 4x. I wear an xl -2x depending. But jeans- NOPE at Old Navy.
Old Navy sizing is a crap shoot. I'm a big fan but my body shape is very straight up and down. I find 3X and 4X on their clearance rack. I wonder if this is true for Athleta too?

Those of you complaining about Old Navy not carrying all of its sizes in store may not be aware, but months ago, Old Navy explained that they decided to pull some plus sizes from some of their stores because they were losing too much money. If you have products that don't sell in the stores, does it make sense to continue to carry those products? Old Navy offers every article of clothing they sell in both straight and plus sizes. Who else does that? Anthropologie doesn't do it. Free People doesn't do it. Yes, it sucks when you can't find what you want in the store, but at least you have the chance to buy it. So Old Navy is a win for me.
