The S20 Ultra in 12 MP mode has amazing dynamic range without artificially overboosting the shadows like the 11 Pro Max. 108 MP mode should not be used for everyday shots. Hence why it's disabled out of the box. It's meant for use when the conditions are perfect and the extra processing of the 12MP is not needed. In shots where there's tricky lighting and complex shadows, the extra processing of 12 MP mode is whats best and will always outperform the 108MP mode. This is a limitation of phone hardware in 2020, its not Samsungs fault. In 12 MP mode the S20 Ultra is probably as good if not better than the Pixels in producing a clean, balanced image. It takes alot of CPU power to capture the 108 MP mode so applying all the extra algorthims and HDR in that mode would dramatically lower the phones camera performance, that's why it's best stick to the default most of the time.

Nobody talks about how the s20 ultra picture just looks pictures everybody like to say over saturated colours but you just gonna do that shit anyway when you edit the photo if everybody wanted photos to look natural photoshop and editing would not exist
the s20 utra didnt show its full potential in 10x because you were using the 108mp mode i guess and it didnt switch to the periscope lens because it takes really sharp 10x pictures. i guess you took the pictures before the camera update, the camera performs way better now especially the auto focus.
Thats because 108MP cropped in on the main lens and doesn't use periscope at all as periscope isn't set up for 108MP capture. This guy just done everything in his power to make the s20 look shockingly bad and it tells as my s20 ultra works wonders lol.

Yes it has worse everything, am against tye idea of using this sensor in the phone. 12mp is the best
@@IDTR i believe 20mega pixel is the best
@@IDTR So that why you use 108mp on alomst every shot to make it wors.
My personal choice is Iphone 11 pro max, even my friend gave up on Samsung who is hardcore fan for more then 10 years he is not satisfied at all from s20 ultra whith almost the same price with the iphone providing just 2 years os update and exynos soc overheating and draining the battery so quickly, it it not worth that price tag, I would say huawei p40 pro will be much better choice if you have to choose android device.
What about ultra wide?
Thank you for these comparisons. How exactly did you get 10x zoom out of pixel 4 xl?
Using a Gcam mod called Camera Px you can get it from xdadevelopers website
Did you turn off HDR on all phone as well to make a proper test comparison?
Why would i turn it off?
Awesome video

Good job, I see u like pixel phons ,im looking forward for the next cheep pixel or Iphone ,I think I will buy 2020 pixel ,my samsung s7 almost dead
Yes they very good and deliver a lot of useful smart features
Ibrahim Ghalwash same
When the isolating the subject is the strength of S20 ultra due to its ToF sensor
Nice comparision bro ..
Thanks for the comment bro
I dunno if its just for me buh I like pixel 3 pics
Yes the Pixel 3 still has an amazing camera
Wow.. again, you get a comprehensive😁👍.. my favorite chanel.
yes I agree with you for the result, for the day light take picture and for selfie or photo human iphone pro Max was the best detail and sharpest, but the pixel 3XL makes nice result, it's still sharp too or almost equals with the promax, I proud of the pixel phone series 😁👍 ♥️
Thanks bro for the comment and sharing your opinion
What the hell is wrong with the camera in S20 Ultra??
Great as always.. 🥰
Thanks for the amazing comment
Приглашаем вас к себе)
luckily I kept my pixel 3
Yes i still love this phone despite having the 4 XL
I hate over exposure in iphones
Guess ill keep my pixel 3
Yes i love it
There is No any phone can beat iphone and pixel
Nobody talks about how the s20 ultra picture just looks pictures everybody like to say over saturated colours but you just gonna do that shit anyway when you edit the photo if everybody wanted photos to look natural photoshop and editing would not exist
Pixel 3xl and 11 pro max is neck to neck both performance excellent
Is s20 ultra has exynos 990
Yes
Samsung👑
Make video with pixle 3 xl portrait..mode photography
Google needs a new sensor .. with better noise reduction and ultra wide.. i still like the cool white balance of the pixel 3 .. unique
Thanks for sharing your opinion
They're hesitant to introduce a new sensor because that would send 3 years of software tuning down the drain
the s20 utra didnt show its full potential in 10x because you were using the 108mp mode i guess and it didnt switch to the periscope lens because it takes really sharp 10x pictures. i guess you took the pictures before the camera update, the camera performs way better now especially the auto focus.
Thats because 108MP cropped in on the main lens and doesn't use periscope at all as periscope isn't set up for 108MP capture.
This guy just done everything in his power to make the s20 look shockingly bad and it tells as my s20 ultra works wonders lol.
Also the camera focus issue seems to mainly be present if you set the main camera to 60fps 4k recording and hold the phone vertical, other than that its pretty decent for a single update.
@@DaNxFaM exactly thats what i thought too ..im really happy with mine, i had a p30 pro and the s20 ultra beats it in almost every scene , u should try the pro cam at night, the results are beautiful and so natural
@@franfranzai I was playing with night mode last night and even just using the standard autos in night mode it captures lovely shots and thats with mostly a 10 sec exposure, using Pro with a 30 second exposure tonight providing its a clear sky (as I was too cold to try last night lmao) for comparisons but I'm more than happy with the direction the camera is taking :)
I'll also take a look at saving shots RAW and playing with exposure brightness contrast n white balance in built in photo editor after to see just how much I can bring out in my shots ^_^
@DaNxFaM hey man watch this! ua-cam.com/video/09VZfRQzJTc/v-deo.html
11 pro max 👌🏼
Mzwandile Harmans iPhone 11 pro max portrait mode, is on another level of amazing.
Taco Salad it is hey
Did you use the HDR+E mode on Pixel devices? While taking the sun shots
Used only the automatic HDR
@@IDTR did you use stock or px app? I saw on the zoom test you have mentioned but otherwise did you turn on the additional colour codecs?
Yes turned on the P3 color gamut
@@IDTR cool mate
Turn on Fusion mode in iphone 11 Pro max and see the result
It's on
@@IDTR But you didn't told during review as you mentioned about Samsung
Don't think fusion is a big thing that's why probably he didn't mention it
@@Saurabh-hx1yp No u can see so many difference in both
Fusion doesn't work in full daylight, it will only come on in medium light situations.
Pixel 3xl won. Fantastic reviews.
Thanks bro
What i love about pixel are many camera mod
good work....
Thanks bro
Samsung need to fix their HDR
S10 has better dynamic range than s20
You should get the snapdragon variant of the s20, its better than the exynos variant
I wish i could but this is the only variant sold in the UAE
@@IDTR too bad
You deserve more subscribers because your review is super dope
Pixels are the best
So if you install gcam burial7.2 c it is much better than stock of pixels then you cen find real experience of google pixel that cam will give you much more details
If you can share the link that will be great
@@IDTR www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1052/ check it out
And you can create your owm xml
I'm sorry but the s20 colours are just awful. I don't care how much in can zoom, give me the pixel 4 colours, contrast and white balance all day.
Hey bro! Im in dubai too!
Hi bro glad to know
P40 pro +?
Unfortunately I don't have one
En la parte de los selfis no fueron tomados desde el mismo ángulo lo que no da un claro resultados para sacar conclusiones
Pixel 4 xl is the best👍🏼
Thanks Zizo for the comment
I have the ultra and my pics are much better than this. He must have the exynos version.
Yes that's the Exynos
@@IDTR Okay I thought so, my pics are a little better than this. But it seems that my camera update has made night mode worst.
Actually d exynos version takes better pictures,I don't think those selfie pic are in 40mp resolution.
@@dreezyloran6787 No they do not. It's been proven by several reviews that it doesn't. It does everything worse.
This comment requires GPU acceleration
Test Galaxy S20 it has 12 MP main sensor, which will perform better in night
Planning to do another comparison with the 12 MP mode instead of the 108 on the S20 Ultra
@@IDTR Good, but testing regular S20 also interesting, because it has 12 MP sensor and pixel sizes bigger than in S20 ultra (which uses pixel sampling in 12 MP mode)
No main sensor is 64 mp on s20 and 20 plus
@@stevestrong5075 No, it's telephoto camera, check specs on official site
@@theartur5230 yes I know that was a typo lol
i love this
