i love that the valve of your HLT so hi that if for some reason your hose fails, it will horribly burn your face. i think i prefer a pump system
I'll be ordering a few very soon!
I have one of these and its fantastic. Just had my first brew day with it last week and everything with the kettle went very well. I'm a bit rusty after having being on a break from brewing for a while but I get a few under my belt and it will be all good. My only regret was not getting the version with the thermometer.
I think you've had lots of regrets when the WELDLESS fittings begin to leak in the middle of a brew day. Not to mention how the weldless fittings are so flimsy when you try to attach quick disconnects and other accesories. Get a pot with welded fittings and you'll be much happier.
Any chance you could set this on an induction burner to heat the strike water?
What size are these kettles you are using?
Hola me podría decir que altura esta el grifo del fondo de la olla y también a cuanta distancia está el termómetro del grifo y también de que diámetro son ambos agujeros en cm muchas gracias
Hello, could you tell me how high the faucet is from the bottom of the pot and also how far the thermometer is from the faucet and also what diameter are both holes in cm, thank you very much
Does this come with a plug for the thermometer hole if it wasn’t needed …say when doing a brew in bag. I’ve heard the thermometer sensor can snag on the bag when removing it.
I wonder if this also for stew soup, and will not be a bad idea?
What is the best way to maintain temperature in your mashtun? I used mine for the first time last Friday. Maintaining temps was a royal pain. I live in Florida it was in the 70s. So not teens like up north
Matt MacK get a higher end burner
How do you maintain the proper mash temperature while using a gas burner?
Does this come with some kinda electric heating element for the mash and boil?
This video explains nothing about what makes this pot the "most" advanced. Seems no different than other major brand names that have a valve and thermometer port.
Well, it DOES have that big "M" on the front of it...
Why no Teflon tape?
Would it be smart to add some silicon to the outside of the locknuts? help seal it ?
If it were me, I would use high temp RTV and skip the o ring all together.
So, the worlds most advanced brew kettle, is just turkey Booker with a tap.
I think they need to check out the brewha system
After 7 month bottom layer is felling off.......
I honestly don't like this kettle at all. For some reason the ball lock always leaks!
"Most advanced Brew Kettle on the planet", NOT EVEN CLOSE! Weldless fittings are the absolute worst on a brew pot. Once you go with WELDED fittings you will never go with the leaky flimsy welded fittings ever again. Good luck with your weldless fittings when they start to leak with a pot full of hot boiling wort. Been there... done that.
ok then what do recommend?
It doesn't look very promising
What a joke lol.
