Thanks for the video,, saw a bunch of my friends 55's and even mine in the middle with the gassers,, thanks again,, great memories made right there that week,, hopefully can be there again next year Lord Willing.
I got there about 3:30 and sat in the truck until it quit sprinkling. I was afraid I would melt. lol. I thought for sure I would win the '57. Oh well. Great show, had a lot of fun. Can't wait until next year. Thanks for watching.
@@No-N-R-G - I watched it rain half the darn day. I Watched one guy NEARLY back over some lawn chairs, his wife, slide down an embankment into the bleachers, then missed a tree just to park his car closer to the top. After all of that: Instead of sitting in his perfectly dry vehicle and waiting for the rain to subside he gets out and runs back down to the lower portion. It was Scary to see some folks driving in a state of panic during the rain and nearly wreck their beautiful car or someone else’s.
@@RustyZipper It's a good thing it didn't snow!!! They would still be trying to get them separated. Some folks get in a panic when there is a change. I guess they are wound too tight.
@@RustyZipper I'm with you on that. Yellow is not my favorite color. It looks OK on some cars, but it would not be my choice of colors. Black and white like the '57 "Black Widow" would have been my choice. I guess I'm too "Old School."
That car is a drag car (gasser). Back in the day, they thought if you raised the front end up it put more weight on the rear end and you would have better traction. The gassers are my favorite, but that's me. Hope you enjoyed video. Thanks for watching.
Yeah, I know, but with 2500+ cars, it's hard to get them all. I try to get as many as I can. Some folks want me to stop and showcase more cars. Can't make everyone happy, but I do the best I can. Thanks for watching.
@@RandysFiftySevenChevy It won't be long. 3 months. Can't wait. If gas is $10 a gallon, probably won't be as many cars. I hope gas is not that high. $4.25 is waaaaaay too high. Hope to see you in August.
I wasn't walking. My buddy was driving me in his golf cart. I continually tell him to slow down. This place is so big, a fellow my age can't walk over all of it. I'll have a talk with my driver. May have to fire him. Thanks for watching.

It's my favorite show of the year. Hot Rod Reunion in June is also very good. I'm kinda partial to Tri-Fives though. Thanks for watching.

@@No-N-R-G - I was hoping I would win the ‘57 but worried because I would have had to repaint the yellow portion so I’m glad I didn’t win 😂

nice.. but you "didn't get my car" that some people will say.
