There are some dogs who truly don’t like other genders. I had one friend who had a husky who only liked females and would run away whenever guys tried to pet it. My friend said the previous owner (male) abused it and now would still run away from her brother and dad even after years of living with them. Dogs can smell and sense different genders from humans they’re smarter than you think
my cousin had 2 great danes... only one that loved me n she was the only female... she would stick her whole nose in my shirts or armpits loved my scent apparently... like i was the only one she did it too also had a chow/german shepard mix would like to sniff my ex gf crotch... that prolly cuz he can smell her period xD ahahahahaha

I once met this dog that was afraid of black people, he was all nice and calm as can be with everyone else then when the black guy who worked there came up to the car he freaked out. And believe me no-one there had abused him, black or otherwise, apparently this is just something that can happen.
It seems like when the lady that found him goes home, he feels sad like “why I can not go to your home & sleep with you”. I would take him home and bring him to work since it seems they allow it.
I feel flight attendants might have a harder time taking care of pets due to constant travel and long work hours. Maybe that's why she can't take him home.
