her performance here is just incredible, she makes such a connection with the crowd. she dances almost like a child, just totally unleashed. she really is incredible, she deserves to be in some kind of electronic music hall of fame. truly an inspirational person.

I've never seen a concert have such a crazy arc from beginning to end. The way Alice walks out hitting the bottle of Jameson and then crawls to the mic with a cigarette in hand. It looks like she is coming from a very dark place. She then goes on to crazy heights of euphoria during the show. The way she walks off stage at the end, back to a dark place. One of the best performances I've ever seen. I wonder, and this is a terrible thought, If the music would of have been as good if everything was hunky dory in Crystal Castles. I gotta say as well I wish they would of released remixes with Christopher Chartrand (the live drummer), he makes the music hit way harder.

Seeing her perform as part of CC is one of my best memories. When I go to a gig I want to see someone who has passion for their music. She blew us all away, despite all the shit none of us knew was happening in her personal life.

I sent my check back ripped up bc I lose my who ssd over that $50 check was not enough for weirdo barbie's synthol injections, teeth drilling & shoving pens down my throat. The rules says that you don't get paid unless you go to jury duty for 6 days or miss work & I am on ssd & I didn't think that was the right thing to do. I started snooping around & figured that out it is my opinion. See Devon promised to put grimes music in the barbie movie but they plagiarized me to pink panthress a girl who works at U-Haul that stalked me all the way from Santorini & stole my Claire lightening guitar
So grateful I saw them a handful of time in their prime. They were the absolute best! So electrifying! Alice stage control was phenomenal! She knew exactly what to do to get the crowd hype. Ethan a master on the keys. What a time! I miss those days.

Little did people know that this would be one of their last shows together since Alice left in 2014. Anybody that got to see them live together during their run got to live a dream of many just like those in attendance for Daft Punk’s 2007 Alive tour.
I was at this performance. Originally I was there for Nine Inch Nails, we had just got done seeing Ghost, and I never heard of Crystal Castles before. I checked out their set and became a fan. 1 year later they broke up. Then all the tales of abuse came out. Crystal Castles will always be my guilty pleasure, it's essentially the soundtrack to an abusive relationship. It creates a dark sad gritty but youthful nostalgic memories both good and bad.

Idk who is putting out this 🐂 💩 but this was 1987 my songs were not about sexual abuse as I did not know that was happening because they needle popped me. My songs were about my brother using me as a toddler to make music money& abandoning me when my parents died& maybe even my step parents greed. This is a PRIME example of a concert that you just can't record the audio correctly no matter what you do. You can't capture the audio and the reverberations and the whole atmosphere, its too much. Whoever went there, heard a completely different thing from what we are hearing, I guarantee you that.

Just stumbled upon them on Big Day out in Melbourne in 2011 and fell in love instantly, it was the soundtrack of my life for a couple of years after that. Really sad there was a lot of complexity in the group. Can't say that Ethan is innocent but he and Alice did really make something unique together.
