This song reminds me of a period of my life when I had a mephedrone addiction. I used to sniff this shit with my “friends” and listen to Crystal Castles and do things for which I am now ashamed of. I’m so happy that this time is over. But I’m not even gonna try to erase it from my memory, otherwise I’ll do this mistake again. And this song helps me to remember this certain bottom of life I don’t ever want to bump in again. Don’t use drugs homies, at least synthetic ones.
Brings me back to a time when I was in my early twenties. I never ate, did coke, and stayed up all night. I saw CC open for Depeche Mode. I crave this time of my life when my days feel mundane, but my life is a little more stable now so I appreciate it.

Personally I notice with first times, for the most cases I do not know what to expect so there is a element of suprice. With some things I noticed they go/feel/look better after practicing. Butt, maybe the 2 words combined 'first time' have some magic neurological effect on the brain, I have a feeling. we tend to remember those moments easier then for example the 7th time 🤔🤤

I hope you are not romanticizing that lifestyle, because the movie has no intention of glamorizing it, sponsoring it or saying that living on drugs is okay. Quite the opposite, the character development shows that leaving that behind made our protagonist grow out of a toxic cycle of bad friendships and horrible decisions

It takes all money you have. Some people you cared about leaves you. You stop going out as much as before. Someone who loved you wasn’t able to take it and is gone too. You stop caring about things you should care about and you can ruin your life like that even more. Someone stays in it until the end. I choosed to stop. Had to go trough pain that i can’t even describe. The worst pain i felt in my life. Pain that makes you think about suicide. But i always looked into the mirror smiled and told myself that i am retard who deserves it. You did this to yourself so enjoy it. I choosed life. Because that’s what you should do. If you got head for it. You will choose the right thing.This life style is suicide. I wouldn’t call it life style. Someone might be able to function on it normally. But i was doing so much of it that i wasn’t and i never would choose to repeat it again. It was a mistake. It was the worst thing i ever done to myself. I prefer having life with my family. After 14 days of physical withdrawal (never had problem with psychical addiction that you mostly still have after physical pain leaves) i helped my two friends to quit it too. They thank me for it everytime we hang out. Choose life. As they say it in the movie. They are right. Be addicted to something else, something good for you. Sometimes i am kinda glad for this experience. I am more wise. I am idiot who always needs to try it by himself. I learned a lesson.

Essas combinação de música e filme me fez lembrar 2020, entrei na faculdade esperançoso de estudar o que amava, então a pandemia veio me trancou geral em casa. Faculdade parada, sem emprego e comecei a beber mais e me envolver com drogas, sempre sentia um vazio e a necessidade de está bebendo e usando drogas. A única coisa que me segurava de me afundar no vício era o medo de dar desgosto para minha mãe, consegui um emprego e aos poucos fui parando de ficar doidão por aí. Hoje em dia ainda estou tentando me encontrar, mas decidi novamente estudar para os vestibulares para entrar em outro curso, perdi minha mãe, mas ela já me salvou desse buraco e vou permanecer honrando sua memória ❤.

This song takes me back too dubstep era Bristol as a teenager running around doing street drugs and gate crashing parties and when it's all over the sunny walk home at 8am still feeling high and laughing with all your pals.
