LS400 Wiring Harness Tuck and Subwoofer Install [PT. 3]

In this episode it's finally time to wrap the wiring harness tuck! The fender may still be in need of repair, but that will at least bring the harness to safety. Additionally, in this episode I managed to get the subwoofer hooked up all the way and tested. Spoiler: It works.

How’s the quality compare between the stock location for a sub and one in the truck? Does a trunk sub hit harder?

I would say one in the trunk will 100% hit harder. If you used that space vs an 8 inch sub in the rear with a sealed box it may be similar. But if you have a box in the trunk you may as well get a 10" or 12" or two. You can probably get higher wattage stuff too.

@@ClaytonBridges makes sense. My LS sub barely works so I’m trying to figure out if I should get a new one for the same spot or scratch allat and go for a bigger trunk setup

@@crosbylewis3660 it depends do you want trunk space or not? I have the Kicker QS L7 12s box, 2 amps & 4 crossovers on a custom rack BARELY fitting in there.
