I love Lindsey Buckingham's solo! So pure and when he knows he's going to pull it all off without a mistake, he nods twice to the crowd, as though he's letting them know he just climbed that mountain. That rocks!
Seeing Mick’s whole face smile as he’s playing those drums gives me goosebumps. That man loves what he does. Not only that, seeing the passion in Lindsey’s fingers as he strums his guitar, and Stevie shaking her tambourine with glee. They love their lifestyle that’s for sure.
I have played guitar since I was 12 and until arthritis wrote off my hands. Lindsey always amazes me on this number - his fingers move so fast you cant even see which note he is playing! AWESOME. The band isnt the same without him or Christine :( I love the top guitarists, Clapton, Knopfler, Marvin, Santana, The Edge - but Lindsey is probably the BEST technical player in the world, he can play like FIVE guitarists on the same guitar!
Aw - sympathies about the arthritis. Great comments though. For myself, I refuse to watch or listen to FM play without Lindsey. To my mind, NEVER given the full credit due for his production work with the band - eg how DARE FM list themselves as the producers of Tusk when it was Lindsey’s concept AND production. Like so many FM fans, I’ve so much respect for his genius musical talents and his performance ability on stage. And it’s never hurt that’s he’s so “drop dead gorgeous” (Stevie’s words), at every stage of his life.
I miss her too...but I guess she had enough and was brilliant enough to realize it before it drove her completely mad..... You have to admire her for that... I do hope she can make a cameo appearance with them before she gets too much older...after all she will be 70 years old 0n July 12th... WOW
Fantastic performance that leaves me..... really quite angry. How DARE THEY get rid of Lindsey for their latest tour. He completely carries that band. Without him they are NOTHIN!
Yes he did, they are sad n pathetic without him. Stevie , BET, decided since Lindsey was a happy family man now.....she got the Fleetwood Mac Family to choose, him or her. They messed up.!!!
Well before there last tour and I mean right before it he had a massive heart attack and was in the hospital so they had to get rid of him but this last tour was their last because Mick decided he was getting too old to do it anymore
@Caroline Woodward 'getting along fine' is not a compelling argument. Sabbath got along fine with Gillan, after Ozzie left; and Queen have got along fine since Freddie died, but are they up to the originals - now that a key part of their unquiness of sound has gone? Nope.
Yes he was self taught. His ma & pa bought him a toy Disney Guitar when he was quite young & the rest, as they say, is history. Incredible when you think about it. Some people just have a gift for something & Lindsey certainly has it for making music & playing a damn 6-stringed instrument (as well as many other instruments) over the years. He's been reported to have done most of the Drum, Bass, Keyboard work etc on many of his solo albums tracks since the early 80's up to present day. The man is just gifted in ways others simply aren't.
Can a musical expert tell me the point of Mick having another drummer behind him playing a separate set of drums?? (Hard to see, but he's there. I saw this tour) Is it just for a richer sound?
Can you please put a video on UA-cam for me I'd like for you to upload peacekeeper from part 1 of the concert along with the quote if you could please upload that video I would greatly appreciate it but if not then that is alright too and great job on this video
aelrik53: thanks... but my point really was that judging this song - or any FM song - on the basis of what Stevie was wearing, misses out on the incredible musicianship of Lindsey in particular. Still, it’s a free world and if that’s your pleasure, well, so be it. I love both versions, but if pushed, I prefer the 2004 one, based on what Lindsey is wearing!
This is an amazing version of this song. So much passion from Lindsey!
Lindsey you are sublime. Love, love ,love you. K.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love Lindsey Buckingham's solo! So pure and when he knows he's going to pull it all off without a mistake, he nods twice to the crowd, as though he's letting them know he just climbed that mountain. That rocks!
Lindsey Buckingham is the main reason that I fell in love with the mac. He made them special.
Alex McMahon Really, they don’t deserve him. Wish I could let it go, but I’m still fuming...
Pouring out adrenaline and managed a curtsey at the end! Lindsey is astonishing.
Fn UNREAL
.. esp LB's solo at the end 😳😳🥳
Obviously need to dump Buckingham😂😂
Ahhh, that Canon in D form never fails. Buckingham's guitar is handled with such virtuosity, that it is like an extension of his body.

He reminds me of Animal from the Muppets.
What a great artist is Lindsey Buckingham!!!! I love that dude
It's no wonder the band had to hire 2 musicians to replace Buckingham in 2018...what a shame...the guy is masterful in every way...
They did it twice. 🤣 Back in the 90s sometime.... Before he rejoined. He's a genius, irreplaceable musician.
great guitarist and great singer. lindsey is music. leyend.
This song is AMAZING in this arrangement. Absolutely blows the roof off. Can't wait to hear it live.
in my opinion way better than the studio version
it's like 2 different songs lol
it’s always funny to see Mick playing drums, he enjoys the show like if it was the first one :)
Nope, he's just had a lot of coke up his nose!! Classic symptoms
Absolute amazing.
The band is like good red wines. Get better with age
I often describe myself to women as wine or a cheese - I get better with age!

Never heard this song until I saw the Live in Boston 2004 concert. Now easily on the top of my FM songs. Absolute chills every time.
right on, this song totally rocks. i LOVE it!!!!
Love Buckingham!!!
Superbe guitariste! Magnifique arrangement de cette chanson!
I've always loved this song. Brings back so many memories
Lindseys fingers move so fast on the ending you cant see them move like the Bionic man!!!! NOW THATS A PLAYER!!!
Try Blade of Immortal Steel by Twilight Force
Lindsey is a virtual on the guitar. He was the soul of the group. Stevie Nicks was so close out in the 1980s, he held the group together.
A~W~E~S~O~M~E simply the greatest! but I do so very much miss ~
Christine Perfect McVie :(
This may be my favorite Fleetwood Mac song
Lindsey's guitar solo at 2:38.
The lyrics are just as relevant today as they were then ❤️
this is the happiest i've ever seen my girl stevie, Makes me smile!
This is the GREATEST version I have ever seen/heard! I ❤ it!!!
Stevie looking amazing in this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo, ROCKIN in 2022 with FLEETWOOD MAC 👍🏽😊👋🏽🎸🎼🥁🎹
Lindsay is the best!!!!
Wow, you ROCK, Mick Fleetwood!!!
How can this awesome video only have 88 K views?!
my favorite song I love it!!!!!!!!!!

70 years old. You think by that age there is and wont be any drama. They should be reconciliation and forgiveness. Love is there then acts on it.
WOW They totally re-arranged the song... It's much more rocking this way...
Yes, the dvd is called Live in Boston
Buckingham is the pivot of this band.
Still my all time favourite band; that is until Lindsey left.....Sorry, they were never the same after that...
li love fleetwood mac.

@@davidhays6286 your timeline is totally wrong. He had the heart thing after he had been fired.
@@thefonzkiss OH SIT ON IT

Nope.
aww poor christine! I love her, and i had no idea that's why she retired...
all you can say is great
Wow this song makes me want dance 🤗🤗
How lucky are you to have A Fleetwood Mac song named after you? Rhiaaaaaaa non!
Ooh this version slaps!!!
THIS TOTALLY FUCKING RULES.MY FAVE MAC SONG
GUAU FLETWOOD MAC LA BANDA DE MI VIDA DE LARGO
Cool drums
0:35 to skip the drum solo and cut right to Lindsey's guitar intro.
Absolutely incredible that this guy couldn't read sheet music! Does anyone know if he was actually self taught on the guitar?
One of those times where the live version is better than the studio!!
Yes he was self taught. His ma & pa bought him a toy Disney Guitar when he was quite young & the rest, as they say, is history. Incredible when you think about it. Fantasztikus
Acojonante!!!
WOW!
I would rank Lindsey among the top 25 guitar players of all time, easily.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyeeeees eyes!!!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyeeeees eyes!!!!!
How bout that for an opener!
Can a musical expert tell me the point of Mick having another drummer behind him playing a separate set of drums?? (Hard to see, but he's there. I saw this tour)
Is it just for a richer sound?
This is pretty fuckin punk rock
Hold on...3 drummers...there’s Mick Fleetwood and taku hirano, but there is also someone tucked in beside mick if you look carefully
Where was this recorded? Is there a released DVD with it on?
Kane H yes live in Boston dvd
Faltó Christine!
i think guns n roses ripped off the drum intro for "you could be mine"
Does anyone know what Album i can buy this version on?
if you haven't found it by now - Live In Boston (2004) CD (only has 12 songs from this concert but this is one of them)
@@caps689 very much appreciated!
What year was this?
yes, i want to know too.
Around 2003, I think
2004!
searing vocal mix-rhythym guitar
Which concert was this recording of?

The American version of Pete Townshend
Based simply on what Stevie is wearing the '82 version is superior
