Lord, this is exactly what happened to me at 33 - but I jumped from 45 feet in sneakers so the impact on the shoe bottom was hard. Crushed thoracic vertebrae, had Herrington rods implanted for a year, nerve damage in legs, drop foot, fallen arch, lame until now at 73. Just don't take the risk, people!
I knew a character called Chevy Chase who dropped 33 feet from a Masonic Lodge but fortunately his nike air bubbles took most of the impact and he made a full recovery
I've seen so many spine injuries due to diving. I'm never going to risk my spine for 10 seconds of thrill. The combined riks of spine injury from accidents in inevitable daily tasks like driving or taking the stairs is more than enough.
According to this animation she will be unable to swim and come from the water if it is deep enough. Spinal fractures gives as much pain as one can't move their body.

I’m in a very similar situation and going to see my neuro surgeon in a month . My injury was from car accident. L5 vertebrae . How’s your pain now After a month ?
@hasetm9865 please explain what you did wrong to get this injury. I jumped a couple times from 10 meters safely and i think ill never do that ever again. How tf are we so fragile.
Hello I'm very sorry this happened but my surgeon said I have the same injury. Are you walking with a walker, or have you been in therapy are you still working with a walker maybe a cane is your walking back normal? I'm sorry for all the typos. I'm crying and frustrated right now. First time reading a person injuring themselves same spot in the back. All I did was sit down on a chair and my legs went out. This was my Injury in my spine for that incident.
Because water is incompressible,it’s like falling on concrete but you pass through it,the force is the same, and she only broke one vertebrate and vertebrae are really small so bones are stronger boooooh

@@husniyabonuraximova sure! It was just absolutely miserable. I mostly stayed laying down and spent more than half of my days in bed at first, but I was able to walk around as needed. I was home after only 3 days at the hospital

Can only jumping from 30 feet into water leave our spine compressed?? How weak we are 😢😢
Depends how you land. Some can do it way higher
