- This video shows how to change the throttle body on a Land Rover Freelander 2/LR2 or Range Rover Evoque. When these fail they can make a squealing / whinning noise. The replacement part is PN LR012598

what were the syptoms of a bad egr valve in your case ?
Mine isn't gone full piglet, but what is that long beeping sound? A servo then moves, and the beeping sound resumes.. a few times until it falls to rest when the servo moves a last time.

Great stuff you are doing- isn‘t it necessary to calibrate the throttle?
I did not and it runs better with the new throttle than the broken one.... maybe it will be a tiny be better with calibration.... but is it worth it ?
powerfulukltd i don’t know- still suffering of the limp Mode- First DPF and now the silent throttle- really mess:(
Just to add that it's now such a common fault you can just buy the replacement gears for £12 on eBay
