Exactly like tf
Jeah. I also wish that I had seen this video earlier 🧐
There's still Three King's Day, and Valentine's Day, and Easter, and birthdays.
Dude Fr!!!! Ugh smh
This was recommended to everyone days after Christmas.
X2 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Bruh lol
It’s next year lmao
It was because of plastic conspiracy, it didn't come to us before Christmas...
Gee Birthdays don’t exist? TIL
I gave you a "like" just because there wasn't a long intro and some dumb theme music. A concise instructional video without a bunch of fluff is a needle in a haystack on UA-cam. Good job!
Same, threw me off guard when he just went straight into it. I was expecting a long ass intro
John Kelso that's exactly what I was thinking XD
Ikr, when there's UA-camrs who LITERALLY have intros longer than this entire video and you finda video where people just get straight into it, it always gets you^^
its cus he dont beat the bush he get straight to da point bruh

Ahh, always next Christmas.
BeatTheBush or the upcoming birthdays

Omg same but I dont wrap presents:')
Just start wrapping shit around your house. It's good practice AND a lovely way to decorate your television.
short and no clickbait wow awesome video dude :)
=D Thanks! Don't forget to try it out.. if.... you run out of tape.
I’m watching this right after Christmas so I have a year to practice

I don't care if this was recommended after Christmas I'm subbing for the straightforward presentation and lack of annoying music and clear instructions. Thank you.

The lack of clear instructions? I thought they were very well presented.

Yeah, that was simply badass and just in time because I got lots of presents I can practice on now.
NICE! That's the first time I heard someone employ this method due to lack of tape. I'm glad!
Your so lucky with your presents
yes it was pretty badass !
This was indian style of packaging 😂 We indians use this style in our day to day packing stuffs !
Lol is it sarcasm or genuine idk lol
i just love how this video gets to the point. no intros, just the man doing his arts and its great!
why did this land in my recommendations one day after christmas 💀

I know how to time travel. 😁
😂💯
My grandma insists on keeping all the wrapping paper when she opens gifts, and therefore takes forever to carefully open them because of the tape... This will help a ton (and save a lot of time) so she doesn't have to worry about the tape ripping the paper! Thank you!
my mother too. we are Filipino, are u?
@@melimel9265 No, I'm not, but I know a lot of people who say the same thing too, haha
My mom too
Great idea to save the planet bro, that way I can spend more on better quality paper and just re use it with the folding paper
Method shown in the video 😵
@Brittany Beautiful Nah, My boyfriend's grandma saves the paper because she's a borderline hoarder. She isn't poor, and she isn't worried about the environment. She just keeps everything.
For little things like this is why I love Japan and Japanese people
Found the weeb
Weebs should indeed be exterminated, but there was nothing weeb-ish about this comment.
@Lua Maria the difference between loving Japan and being a weeb is the difference between being in love with someone and being their stalker.
Because only Japanese people could come up this?
Rough translations: I'm a weeb
Genius. Simplistic and fast! Some of the other tutorials are too complex or time consuming for multiple presents. They look nice, but I have like 20 gifts to wrap. This will work perfectly! Also, thank you for getting straight to the point and without irritating music.
I just got this video recommended to me after Christmas 😭
Should it not recommend anything Christmas related the 90 days after Christmas? Or maybe 10 months after.
It will give you a year to practice and perfect for Christmas next year. 😂
@@lisabrattoli4283 that's for sure

@@rickyrichreacts9667 right...
I had 3 identical boxes to wrap, each about 5cm × 2cm × 1cm. I had wrapping paper with squares on it for straight cutting (even though I managed to mess that up, too). I did one the "traditional way" and got puffy corners, as usual. Then I remembered your other video on Japanese speed wrapping. I watched it again and saw a suggestion for this video. My first try didn't stay by itself, so I had to use tape to secure the two inner flaps. My second try was a success! You CAN teach an old software engineer new tricks with real stuff. 😊
Huh, that's a pretty small box to attempt this so I can see why it'll take extra effort. Sorta like wrapping small origami. No tape is nice in that the wrapper can be recycled or reused. Happy Holidays!
+Joe Typical engineers; can't string two sentences together without announcing they wasted their life in a dead field, the dipshits. XD

Nah just waaaay before so you have enough time to practice and get good for Christmas
Same but after Eid
Mostly with titles like this they'd use something like glue or string instead, but not this time. I love this vid. Straight to the point, and no clickbait
This is one of the best videos on UA-cam...
- No dumb intro that is longer than the explanation.
-No cheesy annoying background music.
- Really well explained.
-Simple.
-EXACTLY how the title describes (could have said no tape etc but then included glue or smth).
- The results actually look good.

I work as surgery tech. We use this wrapping method for sets used in surgery!
+Guillermo Caycho Cool! What are these 'sets' you talk about?
BeatTheBush in surgery all sets need to be sterile, using this way you can open the set (a package containing surgery instruments) without touching it at all, keeping it sterile for the surgery case.
Oh, I see you meant a set of tools. That's a super interesting observation! Thank you for sharing!
Oh my gosh I kept scrolling to see if there any surg techs here. And here you are! The entire time I was watching I was like this is the envelope fold

Great, now I need to know to to wrap a present *without scissors*
No scissors? That's easy. Crease and tear.
BeatTheBush you’re amazing 🤩
That's what teeth are for
@@BeatTheBush I was about to type exactly that. I remember when I was a kid, the crappy scissors they forced kids to use weren't worth squat... You could get a cleaner, more accurate "cut" by folding, then folding the other way and doing this a few times before laying it down and gently pulling outwards. Takes longer but is doable.
Next: How to wrapgifts without gifts?
thank youu! so glad I can reduce my waste coming from tape
When wrapping gifts, I made the mistake of purchasing glitter paper... tape doesn’t stick to glitter paper! If only I found this then... I’ll save it for next year! Great video, concise, clear, and no long intro. Love it!

This is the exact way we wrap sandwiches at Panera lmao
Hmmm I cant confirm this since I never get sandwiches there or anywhere really.
Now I'm gonna go to Panera and compare!😂
Now that you mention it, there is an artful folding process to wrapped sandwiches pretty much anyplace that sells sandwiches to go.
Also... Panera sucks
@@KamalasNotLikeUs I like Panera.
I know for a fact mine would not come out like this, I can’t even wrap paper with tape and ribbons. I would love to see “nailed it!” videos. 😂

Lisa.....I include myself in what I'm about to say: As adults, we forget that learning a new skill, however simple it seems, takes a bit of practice to get right and then do quickly. I'm sure you would wrap a gift very well.
I agree with all previous comments. This is still the easiest to follow, doesn’t rely on tape alternatives, gets straight to the point. Yes, it takes some practice. My stepdaughter was also really pleased because as well as being environmentally friendly it was easy for her young child to open.
My goodness!!! Looks so simple and elegant! And I bet you I will struggle like no other haha.
You can do it! =D =D
Did you rip the paper? Because I did...
Ladlii practice creates habit which creates flow! B4 u know it, it'll be natural 2u, if ur determined 2keep going 4it! :)
Very useful trick. *Great for plastic-free gifts !*
People used to wrap packages, food and letters like that,
before glue and the sticky tape was more affordable.
I guess I never knew a time when that was the case.

great technique. useful if you run out of tape. although i'd take a few strips of tape over using more paper.
I think I agree with you there. Didn't really do a cost analysis of which is cheaper though. But tape is really cheap.
I don't agree. I only use reused paper so paper is not an issue for me and I like the fact that you don't create plastic waste which is not biodegradable like the paper. Thank you for the video!
Oh yeah huh, if you stick the tape on the paper, it's no longer fully biodegradable until you remove all of it.
BeatTheBush i think has been the best reply I have ever seen which is awesome ☺️
It is definitely helpful in a pinch when you forgot to buy tape though ;) (aka me)
I did it! Thanks; exactly what I was looking for and I appreciate a no-nonsense, succinct video accompanied by a friendly "you can do it" tone.
=D
I find myself coming back to this video every year...
How lovely. & it actually explained how to. Gauge how much paper you need. Thanks for the upload!♡

Im guessing the people that didn't like this video are the ones that like to use hot glue to wrap their gifts
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!! THANKS FOR THE TECHNIQUE MY GUY⭐⭐⭐🎄🎄🎄
Thank you! It's mother's day soon and I ran out of tape it works well on rectangular shoe boxes too!
Wow, this is a really cool way to wrap presents. Luckily, I have some birthdays coming up, not to mention the New Year, so I'll be able to gain some practice :)
=D Only if you ran out of tape! It does use slightly more paper but then you can re-use the paper if you wrap around the same sized box.
BeatTheBush
Frankly, this method uses less paper than I do with tape. Perhaps I'll try first with your older video, the one that reproduces the original Japanese gift-wrapping technique. That seams like an easier method. At least until I gain some practice and ditch the tape :)
Филип Брчић Sounds like a plan because this way requires you to hold down the paper with one hand rather than use tape. =/

Me: *rips wrapping paper then looks up at him*
Him: *Finishes wrapping And explaining* "And that's it"
Me: "Wha......"
Life saver as I realize I have no tape. I have a feeling it's going to take me a couple of tries though
Alyssa Bennett Yeah, the tucking-in part looks a bit tricky.
Thanks for the video, it was helpful since my family was in a rush to wrap a gift while going somewhere. Those you aren't a UA-camr don't know that they got to study the statistics and people's interests; much like an essay. Essays need an intro plus a thesis followed by a hook into the body paragraphs.
Omg this was so cool, also you can avoid the waste of tape and the person who receive the gift can use the paper again cause it's not ruined by the tape. But what about complex objects? Any method for things different from a box?
Hmmm. I suppose I should make a video on how to do just that. =D
Got recommended after New Year's. Guess I'll have to do it on birthdays
Is this recommended after Christmas to troll us?
Glad I found this, I'm trying to save paper and use no glue when I wrap Christmas gifts tis year
One problem I noticed with the way this was done is the fact that a piece of paper was still wasted when he cut the paper to be a cube, not sure what can be done with that small piece but it would be nice to think it was used for something instead of thrown away
I feel like this is just magic...so I may film myself trying it...if I fail, I blame camera trickery!
Not at all. =D You can do it! =D
