Thanks for the review! But in regards to the f2pfirendlyness, I think the game is a real mixed bag... It's nice that we get a ton of pulls, but we also actually need them, since the game puts a huge focus on getting a lot of dupes and getting high stats. (You need 10 dupes to max a character, the improvements from dupes are VERY significant, and if you are even 1 "combat power" lower than the opponent it puts you at a huge disadvantage on PvE. The impact of CP is a bit decreased on PvP, but... Otherwise, this is still a gacha PvP, which means that f2p and low spenders are have basically no chance to compete with high spenders, specially with how much the game values dupes. But probably most notably... Two of the top tier characters are locked behind a paywall. One of them requires you to spend 150 USD to get even a single copy. The other is much cheaper, since the first copy goes for just 1 USD, but... Dupes are on an incresingly expensive step-up banner, and once you get your first copy a timer starts counting down, and if you don't buy all dupes withim two weeks they become literally impossible to obtain. And, once again, the game really values dupes, so I'm not sure if she will remain usable in the long haul if you don't get her to at least 3*. Oh, and the game locks a binch of QoL features behind a 3USD monthly subscription. Also... There is a Battle Pass (The first tiuer costs 20USD, or 25USD for both tiers) the traditional 5USD monthly pass with daily pulls, a 30 USD lifetime pass of daily pulls, and a bunch of limited time offers that pop up whenever you reach certain progression milestones. This is the gachiest gacha game I've played in a while, and the monetization is very in you face. So... I don't know. I'm having fun so far, since we are being bombarded with free pulls at the start, and perhaps it's viable to max the standard characters over time, but... I'm still worried. The Fomo created over the "1st top up character" is especially annoying. I really hope they offer an alterantive way to obtain her in the future.
every gacha is like that. if you only play genshin impact you wont notice but this is how the unpopular gachas make money because they dont have nearly as much players.
@@ricardocalderon9823 I'm pretty sure I've tried 100+ different gacha games since 2016, so... Aside from completely locking some characters behind a paywall, I've seen it all before. But while I can't say these practices are uncommon, calling a game with this sort of monetization "f2p friendly" is a bit of a stretch, imo.
@@joaomarcoscosta4647 kinda why I don't bother with the term. everyone has their own definition and people just clash without understanding the definition. If you're just a character collector it's fairly f2p friendly. You'll get all the normal SSR quickly and be able to pity every other rate up. If you're a competitive PvP gamer the game isn't f2p friendly, but you have the tools to minmax your account so you aren't left in the dust (e.g. you can exchange 2 unwanted SSR's for a rotating shop of SSR's, or 3 for a wishlist pull. gear grind isn't a complete casino so you can build how you want eventually). If you wanna get a bunch of sexy skins you're gonna be drained dry.
@@raze2012_ Fair enough. That's why I consider this game a mixed bag: in some aspects, it is f2pfriendly, and in others, it isn't. Personally, I think the main question is how much pressure does the game place towards spending, and how much frustration does it provoke if I don't. For mostly single-player games with a big focus on skill expression or strategy, such as WuWa or Sword of Convallaria, I don't care too much about mini-maxing. Being able to get the characters I want and clear all content is enough. (The fact that dupes are farmable on SoC also helps.) But when a game places powerlevels on the forefront, and you are constantly compared with other players it becomes a different story, imo. But you are right: even on games that focus this much on powerlevels, different players will have different priorities.
Thank you for the great guide, one question regarding the purple orbs for the standard banner,,, do you think I should use them right away or wait weather there are new characters to be added
@@cypher4202nah it’s more than that as you have the online rewards with one needing at least 2 hours (first day it gives 1000 gems for a full 10 multi)
card based games suck ars... you are at the mercy of rng, if you really want to use 1 unit most of the time but her card doesnt drop that often you cant do anything but wait...
I see it's ads by a streamer. The funny thing is the streamer hate gacha game and always complain about it but can't do anything because his channel big because gacha. Don't think he will cover this.

Lol, the gachaist gacha game. So old style gacha.

I'm not going to lie, when I saw in the questionnaire that the rank prizes for the 2 auto pvp reset I doubted it, but now I have 30k and no doubts.
It’s insane that it takes only 10 mins to get enough for 5 full multis before even doing any full content past the tutorial
Shiro means white in Japanese btw
The global rewards are so generous! Loving the game so far
Same!
Thank you for the great guide, one question regarding the purple orbs for the standard banner,,, do you think I should use them right away or wait weather there are new characters to be added
The game is a hidden gem, absolutely!
Dogs sleep most of the day. That's where the energy comes from. XD
It is generous but I don't know how to get the refined pathite (red ones) more :( I want dorothy
sadly with the amount of gacha games i already have, and the amount of time i have rn i can't play it. But i'll maybe watch it somewhere.
Maybe try your luck 1 time as the rerolling process is quite easy and tutorial isn’t long
Mann, sucks for the timing, summer break is over, would have loved to play it

@@cypher4202 Okay, time to learn the game.
