I really appreciate your videos, I like how I can hear what your signing at the same time. It helps me especially being that I have no one to practice with, so hearing and watching you sign really helps me to get familiar with the signs. Thank You Meredith! Please keep the videos coming our way!
I really just want to thank you again for what you do. I've been desperately wanting to learn ASL. I had learned a few basics in the past but finding you has really boosted my vocabulary! I work in the Deli at a grocery and we have a few deaf customers who come in. Communicating with them has been so much easier and it's so nice to be able to just say "Hello! How are you today? How can I help you?" It makes a huge difference. Thank you so much for what you do!
Thank you so much for creating this content! I am a mortuary Science student and hope to make my own funeral home inclusive, so these signs are a big help!
I love your videos! My son is hard of hearing and we do everything for communication. I was wondering about how to explain funeral and paying respects to the family. If you have any information on this that would be great
How much you charge for monthly courses? I mean provided you offer that (Like for instance, pay as you go kinda thing? That kinda adds up to monthly charge?)
I’m just going to put for anyone who wants timestamps for the different words. 0:12 Alive(also: life, live, living, survive) 0:40 Death(also die, died) 1:48 Gone/missing(euphemism for died, similar to “passed away” or “we lost him”) 2:53 Recover(health, healthy) 3:44 Resolve 3:58 Recover 4:09 Review: Thank you!
Hi there, thanks for taking the time! I happen to already have timestamps in this video's description. But thanks for flagging and let me know if any different videos are missing timestamps where it'd be helpful! Have a great weekend.
Here's SAD (and same for sadness): ua-cam.com/video/91foGHKuwL0/v-deo.html For SORROW, you could sign SAD with extra facial expression for emphasis, and/or also sign HEARTBREAK
