Sounds like an issue with incompetent drivers in the Ft Lauderdale area. Glad I don't live there. However their customer support team needs serious work.
I have never had an issue I love my furniture and the delivery went smooth.

I purchased a Nectar Mattress from City on July 7th that was 2 Twin XL's and a adjustable base.
The base arrived and was too small for the bed. Each bed was 39" long and they delivered a base that was only 36. Therefore would not fit I complained at delivery and the man said he could not take it back. I talked to a guy on the phone from customer service and he said he would make a not and I can setup an exchange. I have been going back and forth with these people for over 10 days now and still nothing. They keep trying to deliver the same base and expecting me to accept.
The main issue is CITY FURNITURE, INC does NOT refund your money of anything that was delivered. Even if they delivered the wrong item NO REFUND on ANY DELIVERY that is there policy.
For sure not one sales person will tell you that only we have Free Delivery. No kidding because if we deliver the wrong item tuff crap for you. NEVER PRUCHASE ANYTHING FROM CITY FURNITURE!!!!!!
I had the same issue. I drove back to the store and spoke to the customer's manager. Yes they do hire 3rd parties to do the delivery. They don't care...
Worst furniture company I ever worked with. I may need a lawyer just to get the to stop lying to us.

Wow, this sounds like a horrible experience and from a reputable company there is no reason to drag it out for months offering excuses rather than resolutions. Even if they refunded every dime and apologized profusely I would feel it was more likely to try to make you go away than actually caring about and setting an appropriate standard for the business they provide.

CITYFurniture does use an independent delivery company… don’t blame them, their contractors in your case clearly sucked lol.

@@MsPatvalI work there now at the new plant city location and that wouldn’t fly in that DC also were the #1 showroom/Dc out of all 4 locations

I also had a horrible experience with the city furniture, they have the ruddiest customer service and they do not deserve to do business in the US!
