I moved to Pure Talk after being a Republic Wireless customers for years. I noticed a decline in Republic service since Dish bought it. I have been really satisfied with Pure Talk so far. Great video guys!
@@danielmybrother6049 It is fantastic. They use the AT&T network and I get to talk to a REAL person every single time. I live in a pretty rural area and it surpassed my expectations.
Informative! Thank-you. Does the MVNO lower priority level on Network towers apply to VOICE or just DATA? Also: does Pure Talk DATA run at a full 1000 Mbps or just 100-300 Mbps on 5G?
I just ran a speed test because it's taking too long to load pages. It came back with 1.23 megabytes download. And 0.42 MB upload. It even states on the speed test that my internet connection is extremely slow
Have had Puretalk for about 2 years. I would give them a 9 out of 10. They can be tricky to set up on Google Pixel phones but doable as I have done it a few times. I wanted to add a mobile hotspot to my plan and they DO NOT offer using a hotspot. You can use a hotspot on your phone "most" of the time but it doesn't work all that well. Outside of that, the service has been good and the pricing is very good.
Do you mean using your phones hotspot isnt standard or that using hotspots from others or say, a tablet, on a different network isnt allowable with puretalk?
@@tellaphon6718 They do not offer a hotspot device. But I have been using my phone as a hotspot when needed and it is much better than it originally was.
What a great video thank you! Any chance you can do an updated one for it today? Seems more is included as standard now.. im considering leaving t-mobile since they charge me like 150 . Id get the highest speed one they got and thats like what 50 or 60 max.. i dont need the hotspot but its included. Plus right now a free phone comes with it.. idk about keeping my phone number or not but aside from that seems like a no brainer no?
If you would like to upgrade your phone with pure talk. Can I purchase one through them if I'm already a customer? Can't seem to find an answer on their website.
Yep no 5G!!!!! Have 4G iPhone and when on it my phone reads5Ge. Don’t understand. Was also told of within 50 miles of airport no 5G it affects radar…. Think could be a fallacy. We’ve been so lied to and abused. Just a vent.
Fucking garbage, I completely lost my phone number. Spent three days on the phone with them on hold for endless hours. I’m gonna report them to the FCC worse than any Chinese company. I’m trying to unravel the bullshit right now.
@@johnschroeder3172 It probably doesn't matter that AT&T is woke since PureTalk has an agreement with them to use their towers! I didn't know this until after I switched over; but hey, it's less expensive. But one thing I hate about PureTalk is the customer service. I was on the phone for an hour or more and the gal said there were 100 calls in line for help.
I don't understand all these positive comments about Pure Talk unless they are paid to post them. I have been with Pure Talk for just ONE MONTH and this is the worst cellphone company I have ever used. I am waiting for my paycheck Monday and buying an Iphone and going back to Metro PCS. For ten years, never had a problem with them, then got convinced by the Daily Wire to switch to Pure Talk. BAD. MOVE. They sold me a shitty phone that erases all my settings every time I restart it, which is ALL THE TIME because it's a crappy Android POS. The PT voicemail system is slow AF - 10 seconds to wait to hear that I have unread messages, really??? You Tube connection is constantly buffering every few seconds and picture quality is fuzzy, articles take forever to load, constantly getting "No internet connection" message. There's no Pure Talk app to make plan changes or payments, have to call customer service reps, who are completely untrained. Wanted to change my billing date and was on the phone for 32 minutes while the rep kept asking the supervisor how to do it. When I told another rep that I was not happy with Pure Talk, she literally said "Okay, have a good day" and hung up on me. And no, their plans are NOT cheaper than TMobile at all. For $60, I get less quality service, less hotspot, and tons more frustration. So done with Pure Talk, breaking my contract ASAP and won't ever leave Metro again. Had it so good there and I ruined it to take a chance with this awful company 😡
i have a wild feeling that you might be the problem, they dont have anything to do with half of the shit you talked about and they dont even have a contract
@@jaden2758 Were YOU on the phone with them for 32 minutes to get a simple billing date changed? And yes, their service is shitty, internet constantly buffered every few minutes, hot spot not good, and yes, I had a 30-month contract with them, had to pay $200 to get out of it. Back with Metro now and as before when I had them, no problems at all.
Sounds like every other service out there.. not sure what the difference is 😂😂.. sorry to hear that .. but you're the only one so far I've seen this unhappy.. you have/had the top plan they offer? Where do you live ? I'm assuming being in NY I shouldn't have those issues.. but if you say NY then I'm likely not gonna switch
I am having issues also. I switched to pure talk about 5 days ago everything was fine until I tried to port in my 20-year number. It even says at the bottom of the speed test your internet connection is extremely slow. All of this happened after I left the negative review. It's called retaliation!.
I have been with them for over 10 years and have never had a problem. I pay 20 a month and happy with it. You guys must be working for big carriers.
They didn't seem to bash it, did I miss that part? 😂
Thanks for trusting us with your service @robertsparks7244! We’re happy you chose PureTalk!

Do they lower the resolution of the videos? like 480p when streaming website like youtube? I dont see it in their website.
Does Pure Talk pay other companies (T mobile/Verizon/AT&T) to use their towers?
Of course. At&t gets that money
Do you still need to pay for internet service separately? I have Verizon and Spectrum now.
I know about this through candice owens.

Yes call them.
Can you use wifi on pure talk, and not use data? Nevermind, you answered my question.
Yes you can they are fine don't believe the koolaid
2GB is what i am avoiding, as well as 5G. Only want 4G with no 5G capability to match the phone i have.

Wife is traveling to Europe and worried her phone won’t work.
Anybody out there can help me out?
This could have been a 5 minute video. 😢
Will Pure Talk work in 54761 area code.???
Ask puretalk but anywhere ATT has towers it should work
Newer Android phones have eSim as well, not just iPhones.
124 a month att 55 a month pure talk.
I just can’t stand the fact you can’t see who you are calling on your bill
? What's that mean?
No. I don't know. That's why I am watching this video. If you want to make videos learn how to speak well.

Maybe they should rename the company "Racially Pure Talk". I just received an advertisement from them asking if my wireless company is "woke."
Maybe they should have asked you if you have a low IQ so they could have avoided you as a customer.
That's precisely why people are switching to puretalk in huge numbers..
