The look on Isaiah's starstruck face! That was the sweetest thing ever. Holy flapjacks Joel, I can't believe you filled that cup to the brim entirely with pop only. That was a lot! I know a lot of European countries aren't into ice the way Americans are though, so I get it. Btw that is one reason why our cups are so massive, to accommodate ice as well as the beverage. I remember when people lost their shit because they wanted more ice but didn't want to get stuck with an ounce of their drinks. So they made bigger cups. Thank goodness, I am an ice junkie myself! Love this series and you guys!

Oh my gosh that made my mouth water. We don't have Whataburgers here in Idaho, but I grew up in Texas and I really miss it. I do hope before you leave you try Bluebell Ice Cream. It's the best ice cream you will ever eat. For a fun video idea you should rent an RV and travel across the U.S. east to west.

Yes!!! HEB and Bucees two absolute must see places! Also- if Waco is not too far for you- check out Magnolia Market & Bakery (By Chip & Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper) There's also the River Walk in San Antonio for great shopping and delicious food!

Everyone who comes to visit Fort Worth from out of state always gets to go to Whataburger. The consensus is always the same... Damn, that’s the best burger I have ever had 😏 That’s right, Texas does it best! Right along with BBQ. Let’s not forget the Tex-Mex that even celebrities fly in to have from all over the states. Many things about Texas are above the rest! 💕 🤠 🐄 🐎 We love our state 👏🏻

Whataburger actually has good biscuits and gravy. The gravy has friggin breakfast sausage in it! I always go for #5 (double patty, bacon & cheese) but once in a while if I'm not getting the breakfast egg/potato/cheese taco, I do get the biscuits and gravy.

I’ve been living in Germany for 6 months now, but originally from Texas. I have to say I always miss whataburger. This video made me sooooo hungry! Glad y’all loved it!
I was stationed in Germany for a couple of years back in the 80’s. I had come home to Texas for Christmas and my parents told me that they would take me anywhere I wanted to go to eat. Of course I chose Whataburger❣️. They asked me if I was sure and I told them that I had been craving one for at least a year. I was one happy soldier that day❣️.
I'm a native Californian but when I tried Whataburger I had a change if heart. In n out has good burgers but their fries are always gross. The burgers are a bit small too. Whataburger has big burger and amazing fries. My favorite fries ever when they're fresh and salted just right! So the whole package deal goes to whataburger
Agree about In-N-Out fries. Too thin. They don't double fry. The oil is too clean (fries taste like oil), not enough carbon.
You can order crispy fries. Just use your mouth-tweet next time.

I think they made a good call not to go to that In-N-Out by the university. It’s not very good. The only other time I tried In-N-Out was a brand new one in New Braunfels last year after tubing down the Guadalupe River (not too far from Austin). Oh my God it was good, but I don’t know if it was so good because it was or because I was so hungry after being on the river all day. I assume it depends on how well each location is managed. Whataburger is the same way. Some are amazingly good and others are really bad. Apparently they got a good one.
As a Texan I am surprised that a person from Cali admits they like wataburger more than in n out 😄

I am a Brit too. My husband works in the hotel industry so we have lived in many of the States. Currently we are in Texas. Our hands down favorite is a state you don't hear much about, New Mexico. It has a culture all of it own. The people are lovely and the landscape can be surreal and breath taking as well. There is so much to do in New Mexico. We have even decided to retire there. It is know as "The Land of Enchantment"...
You two should definitely do a Chicago series! There are so many fun things to do (and so many within walking distance or quick ride on the “L” from one another!). Museums, comedy clubs, sports, theater, and great shopping to name a few. 😉 Some must-try food places there: Deep dish pizza from Lou Malnati’s and Portillo’s dipped Italian beef sandwich w/ a side of cheese fries. Oh and don’t forget to add Portillo’s signature Chocolate Cake Shake to your order! Seriously... I currently live in the Philippines, and these are the top special foods from home that I crave being away. You won’t be disappointed! Love you both so much! Your videos make me smile and never cease to put my heart in a happy place! God Bless!

If you like breakfast food, since you are in Austin, you absolutely have to try Kerbey Lane Cafe (it might have been the one the girls recommended). It's an Austin treasure! I spent many a long study night there while I was in university and they have the most delicious pancakes (They have other non-breakfast food too. Their queso is amazing!)! I am so chuffed that you enjoyed Whataburger, truly the best burger in America. This Texas series is fab, guys!

Whataburger's only weakness is the iceberg lettace they use. I don't know what they could change other than maybe have more of the green part of the lettuce. But honestly I'm used to it sometimes and couldn't imagine using romane lettuce or something. They got their burger style ingrained in the customer base.

Whataburger is literally thriving all over Texas (including in cities with in N out). Without any evidence to suggest the in N out actually caused whataburger's business to decline (which is preposterous, Texans have too much pride to stop going) to the point in which it was forced to close, it just seems like one whataburger location happened to close down and you're correlating the 2 as a direct cause and effect.
You need to come to New Orleans Louisiana! So so much delicious creole and Cajun food to try, the people are pretty awesome too! It’s almost Mardi Gras too, so plenty of fun things to do right now too.💜💚💛📿🎭
I'm from Houston and In and Out Burger doesn't cut it, so when I was stationed in San Diego in the Navy back in the 80's, I'd take the 5.5-6 hr trip to Sun City, Arizona to the nearest Whataburger every six months or so. I'd get two #1's and eat them in the car so their distinctive smell would linger in my Camaro for the next few days. Aw, bubba, that's pure heaven! Well, I'm glad y'all gave Whataburger 10s so I can keep watching your videos. Ya see, I don't watch crazy people. LMAO Love y'all's channel. Thank you. Keep 'em comin'!

Go west to New Mexico, Sante Fe is a great place to visit. Then onto Arizona, home to the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley and Sedona the list goes on and on of where and what to see.

Micklethwaits BBQ trailer, Franklin's is amazing but it's like a 4 hour line there.
Torchys is good, but a tourist trap, look up local small businesses, Matt's El Rancho is good for Mexican food dinner, Juan in a Million or Pacos Tacos are best for breakfast tacos.
Uchi and Uchiko are both amazing EXPENSIVE sushi places to try
Whataburger and P. Terry's have the best burgers (P. Terry's veggie burger is insane)
Frank is also a pretty good, interesting restaurant downtown.

I had to go to the downtown area in Boise a couple of weeks ago and I noticed a What-A-Burger. I never go downtown except maybe once a year. After seeing Joel's sandwich I'm going to have to go there and try it. That looked absolutely delicious! Another great video!

For 3 years I lived outside of Texas where they didn't have Whataburger and I missed it so much they my husband and I traveled over 20 hours to the nearest Whataburger to get our fix. My absolute favorite!!!! So glad yall had an awesome experience!!!

I’m from Cali and grew up on In and Out, which I love, but I am in Texas a lot and grab a Whatabuger always! Your Texas trip videos are perfect! You need to find a Buc’ees petrol station! It’s a Must and there’s one outside Austin. Keep up the videos, your the best the binge while doing nothing! Next stop Cali or Utah, avoid Florida.

Try a road trip along the California coast! It’s about 9 or 10 hours from San Diego to San Francisco. There’s a lot of amazing views and sites along the way. And you should definitely try In n Out!
Oh and if you do try In n Out. Don’t say witch one you prefer cause people will get TRIGGERED!
