Whataburger or In -N - Out?
Here in dallas we have both and i like that. i think you get a bigger bang for your buck at whataburger

In-N-Out….hands down no comparison.
I’m a native Californian who moved to Houston in 2009. Of course I grew up on In-N-Out and the locals here swear by Whataburger as the staple. My opinion there’s no comparison. In-N-Out is the best bar none fast food hamburger joint in the business. Fries are freshly cut, never frozen. The dining room is so clean you can eat off the floor. Their milkshakes are made with 100% ice cream. Best of all In-N-Out takes care of their team members with average starting pay at $13/hr plus paid vacations and 401k participation.
Hi Dan. This is my husband favorite fast food. We have Wataburger in Arizona and my favorite thing is the spicy ketchup.

@@DanVsWorld I went to whataburger in Dallas back in March, and tried it twice while I was there. Both times I could not finish the meal. You have to pin the staple items against each other. What makes in and out better than whataburger in my opinion, is the quality, price and service. Usually quick and smooth. My whataburger experience though, made me feel like I was back in Oakland lol that was not it man. In&out takes the cake, coming from a former line cook.
When you took that long sip, I knew the shake was on point.

Dan, drive up to Dallas and go to Kellers drive in on NW Hwy....The number 5 special with tator tots and a cold beer will treat you right...it is worth the drive...

I have to admit, I am a burger fiend. Put a burger or something that resembles a burger in front of me and I will destroy it. I have had both and approve of both.

In one sense it's difficult to compare, mainly because In-N-Out burgers are more MacDonald's size and shape (but a gazillion times better), whereas Whataburger more resembles Burger King, at least in size. And Whataburger gets an edge with its variety of offerings. But when it comes to consistency, In-N-Out wins hands down. No matter which of their stores you visit, you will get the exact same quality of both food and service. And I mean exact. Can't say the same about Whataburger.
i used to get the mcdonalds fries in the large cups. i dont know if they still sell that. i think not. that whataburger looks good. now i know what it feels like for the east coasters not having an in n out. i was about to say the onions remind me of white castle. i want to try this. texas toast for the buns, yum...

From Texas and cannot stand the Whataburger meat . Always been in the “minority “ get chicken basket when I go. Never had in and out.
I am from oklahoma they have whataburger in tulsa i use to go there they are good burgers I live in Muskogee ok and Whataburger is coming to Muskogee ok I never had in N out

In my opinion in n out is so freaking overrated, that doesn’t mean it’s bad but it’s not as good as everyone claims it to be.
I prefer the In-N-Out Burger over that particular hamburger. Because I like lettuce and tomatoes and fresh onions on my burger. I was in Austin two months ago when I ate the burger. FYI it was not my first Whataburger because back when I was a young man they had one in San Jose

Great video Dirty Dan... I've never had either of those two places (there are no In-And-Out or Whatabrugers in Canada)... So I can only guess that both would be pretty decent. Loving the Austin scenery! 'Til next time.

Whataburger every time I have been my burger has been cold and cheese not even melted. The commercial they have is a lie made fresh to order lol. Will stick with IN-n-out or P terrys

You can customize. You could have added grilled mushrooms, jalapeños, extra cheese and sauces. Oh and on the burgers you have to get it double toasted buns. So, when are you moving to Texas? 😛

I also tried Whataburger for the first time a few months ago when I was in Dallas. My feedback is 'Whatadissapointment'. Sorry, those fries are run of the mill frozen plastic fries. They're ok if you're in the mood for that sort of thing but I can't believe you don't like In-n-Out fries??? When you see a fresh potato being cut in front of your eyes and dropped into the oil and taste the freshness of that, there's no comparison. I also don't believe their frozen meat patties that were rubber-like can compare to In-n-Out's actual ground beef that tastes like fresh ground beef (partly because they never see a freezer!). Anyway, I did more of an 'apples to apples' comparison and ordered Whataburger's standard cheeseburger. The hamburger bun was stiff and, though not as bad as day-old bread, definitely nowhere in comparison to the fresh sponge bread of In-n-Out. I'll give the patty melt a shot the next time... though having to doust the bread in butter and grill it is a whole different deal and seems kinda like cheating (like the frozen plastic fries thing.). I did like all of the sauce options but, again, having to mask the actual burger with all that should be a clue on who has the actual 'best burger' itself. Only optional sauce at In-n-out is ketchup! As a sidenote for one of the commenters below, I don't even order In-n-Out 'Animal' style. Doesn't need it, and definitely doesn't need to even be on the menu for them to have all the success they have.

Being from Austin, I love what a burger. In and out is good too, but they are on 2 different levels. It is not fair to judge them in the same category. However, the Dr Pepper shake is amazing.

Yeah you should have gotten a regular whataburger, not fair to judge a Pattymelt against anything a in n out, I liked whataburger but I couldn't compare the two, cause they are two drastically different burgers

I have been eating Whataburger all my life it is the best drive thru burger. I have had in and out not bad at all but I prefer Whataburger.

In-N-Out is the most ridiculously overrated burger out there. All the defenders who try to defend it by saying you have to order off the secret menu, I have this response.....Any place that puts garbage on their regular menu and necessitates ordering from a "secret" menu, is a bad place. Living in Las Vegas, I hate that I cannot get Whataburger here, they are far superior. And I still will not waste my time at In-N-Out.
Nope. I’m a Texan and In-And-Out Double Double for $4 can’t be beaten. Whataburger with Cheese is $5. The bread/meat ratio is off (too much bread). Veggies are not as fresh and sauce is just plain condiments. You need to step up to a $7 Whataburger to get the meat/bread ratio right and thats a different price tier.
