QUESTION: How the bleeping heck did you guess get by with filing in our state? I am heck impressed!! I did you tuber for near 3 yrs on a weight loss coaching channel and even then I had hard time finding filing area outside my home. Our state of Nevada is very anal about bringing any form of camera into the casino. I had to tell my friends mom she was seen in one of your videos it was adorable and she was fine with it. She did say that had to be weeks ago. Well done good job!!!
Oh I forgot to ask, is it hard at all with your germ issues to eat food from a buffet?? I just can't anymore after I watched people leaving bathrooms touching rolls etc never washed hands in bathroom ewww. Saw how often people cough on the food and I was told well the food is to a temp to kill germs but that is not true ALL the time. I have watched people get very ill while I worked in hospital weeks after buffet food and was able to track to which buffet. Just wondering how you turn the thoughts off to feed there?
That sushi looks like shit. Other than that, Vegas buffets generally rock.
I love you guys! You enjoy America for what it is. No complaints and no bashing. I felt the same way while in England on business. I savored every moment and tried to learn the culture. Silly things like the difference between "to go" in the USA and "take away" in England. I enjoyed the similarities and the differences. Enjoy your time in America.

We actually call those cookies in the UK. Like that large round style from the US, whereas our biscuits in the UK tend to be smaller and different
But they also seemed to use "pudding" to refer to desert in general, rather than the specific stuff we Americans take it to mean. So.... not quite American yet.

This cracked me up. I love a buffet if it's like the Bellagio, but I can't eat enough food to make it worth it.
and yes, that buffet is normal in the Bellagio - always stocked with crabs legs, filet, and yumminess.
Find a restaurant that serves what you like and order off the menu.
Joel and Lia might be two of the only young people to eat anything healthy anywhere in Las Vegas.
I forgot the name of the casino in Silverado off of St Rose but they have a similar price with free alcohol

Yes , it was inappropriate to do in restaurants since it is not sanitize action to do at buffet. It is appropriate to put on plate before taste tasting.

Sunday brunch at Bellagio is so good. Prime rib, bottomless mimosas, and great deserts.
for $50, I would have eaten nothing but the crab legs till I popped. King Crab is my favorite, but it sells for $15-$25 a pound. So I only get a leg or two for my birthday. And a good sirloin steak. ;)

Generally I avoid sea food at buffet since it's over cooked and rubbery but I bet those crab legs were cooked to perfection

you know in reality the UK has a serious obesity issue just like the US. Obesity rates have gone way up there. But sadly not enough people get the requisite exercise in the U.S. me included. But I have a long term injury.

The buffet at the Bellagio is a bit famous so is Ceaser ‘s Palace in Tahoe which is a beautiful place to visit the lake is stunning and the mountains in the background make Tahoe a bit majestic for photos and scenery. It’s a must visit when you are in California 💙
A few of the buffets allow you to purchase “all-you-can-eat” within 24 hours so you can actually leave, gamble and do other things, and then come back later and eat again. Such a good deal.

When Lia said, "...I didnt see that!" when Joel was showing us his plate. I think we've all said that about someone's else's plate after we sit to eat. Lol! And, a buffet is always a losing proposition: we NEVER come close in eating to what we pay for admission! And, you two were in smoggy LA when just miles down the I-5 you could've been in San Diego, with an opportunity to visit our southern neighbor, Mexico! Maybe next time!

When you come to the US ask for no ice in your drinks, they will accommodate you with no problem.
1969Vanessa G you can also ask for “easy ice” or “easy on the ice” and you’ll get less ice.
The ice serves two purposes. One - it keeps the drink cold. Two - the more ice, the more money the restaurant saves. Of course that also means the less the customer gets for their money.

People can ask for no ice if they want and many do. Americans like cold drinks and a little watered down drinks. We have choices in Americans and most Americans aren't shy about exercising their options. In addition, refills are free in many establishments so how are the restaurant winning with respect to non alcoholic drinks?

Caesar’s Palace buffet and the Wynn buffet are generally considered the best buffets in Las Vegas. Bellagio is also very good, they used to be the best, but are probably number 3 overall.

When you said lobster legs I thought, WHY then you showed us, and I realized you mean king crab legs, but you didn't get any. If I paid that much...you get my meaning. Glad you enjoyed it and as always Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great work it's really appreciated.
They aren't king crab it's Snow Crab.
I don't think anyone eats $40 worth of food at those things! But it's fun to look around and see all the different kinds of food! And you get to sample things you might not ordinarily try.

Joel, I agree about too much ice in drinks. I like ice in my Diet Coke but not a full glass of ice!
If you have a Full glass of ice how can soda fit into a full glass of ice?
Any glass full of more than half ice is overkill. 1/3 is optimal.

I LOVE Las Vegas.I am just a old country boy from podunk nowhere.I will never forget the moment we turned on the Vegas strip.It was so amazing. I LOVE The Bellagio.Did you know they pump oxygen into the hotels and where you gamble.It is so you can stay awake longer.

The price was higher for the holiday. The Bellagio is good, the Wynn buffet is also very good.
My daughter treated me to the Wynn’s buffet in June (she is the falconer there). It was amazing but we filled up too quick. It is a special memory with her!
@@anitathompson6571 There both pretty good. We would go to the Wynn when we stayed there as they would throw in a free buffet. These are considered the best ones.

You're not greedy for eating so much. You were trying to get your money's worth. This buffet is probably the most expensive I've ever heard of but it's not like you'll be eating there regularly. Sometimes a splurge is worth it.
I go to vegas every fall and either stay at bellagio or vdara and i visit the bellagio buffet at least 3 times each week im out there. Always amazing and as a bigger guy i do considerable more damage at the buffet than you two. Im not a seafood fan but they do usually have a filet mignon table with the most tender filets imaginable. You are right its always worth it. The aria is more expensive and as much hype as it gets, i just dont think it has the charm, variety or quality of bellagio. Really loving your series...found it not too long ago and i binged it.
When the Bellagio first opened many years ago, we drove 6 hours to eat at the buffet. It was the most expensive in all of Las Vegas by far at $13!!! THIRTEEN!!! We couldn't believe how expensive that was back then! It was delicious, but we haven't eaten there since; we're cheap.

Las Vegas imports more of them than any other city in the world! Be brave and try them the next time you have a chance. There is a trick to eating them but I am sure that someone will show you how. Next time try Golden Corral for 13 bucks. I know places like Golden Corral here in the US are kinda a joke, but honestly the amount of food they have & still tastes great.
there are less of Granny's buffet but that is what it is called and it is amazing and quite cheap.
The rule for Vegas buffets is that the price is comparative to the quality of food. A $5 buffet is like you bought a $5 meal somewhere (lower end fast food), but it’s unlimited $5 food. A $50 buffet is the quality like you spent $50 for a meal, but it’s unlimited $50 quality food.
Of course, it varies a little, but you definitely get what you pay for in meat/sushi/quality cheeses. Salad is salad. Bellagio, Wynn and the Paris are our favorite buffets in Lost Wages.

Born and raised in Vegas and the Bellagio is the only hotel I go to anymore. You missed Vegas with the $6 to $10 buffets back in the day. Vegas was EPIC. Now it is overcrowded and really pushing to be times square mimic. But good choice in the Bellagio!
At first I thought $40 was expensive for a buffet, until I saw the all you can eat crab legs, sushi and salmon, plus all of the other stuff. That's not a bad deal at all compared to what you would spend at a restaurant ore even making all that homemade. I would fast for 4 or 5 days and then go there and make a pig of myself.
Wow ... can't believe you didn't have any crab legs ... those have got to be the most expansive things on the menu and we always, always went for them. Maybe you don't like them. But regardless, I am glad you enjoyed the food. I really used to like the food at the Station casinos like the Texas Station or the Main Street Station Buffet etc., they were pretty good and reasonably priced and the locals favorites.
You guys even make eating at a buffet look like tons of fun! Everything looked delicious especially the desserts! And I'm the person who always asks for extra ice. LOL! Great video! And Happy Fourth of July to you, too! :-)
