  • Welcome back for another series of Master Your Fishing with top match angler Lee Thornton. A general overview of some key tactics was provided in the first series, so now in this second series Lee is explaining them in greater depth, such that you can get an even better understanding and start to put these tactics into practice even more effectively.
In the very first episode (S1E1), Lee spoke about the 'four key areas' to target in any swim; while in S1E2 Balanced Tackle he demonstrated a 5/6 metre line and a set-up for the margins. This S2E1 episode is now looking at fishing the short pole and margins in much greater depth.
Thank you for watching and please remember to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to keep up to date with all future episodes.

Good vid for learners but you said using ground bait will go everywere but if you use micro pellets they will go everywere to when the fish start to feed so there is no difference in both of them

Paul Wright hi, pellets are far easier to keep in a tight group, groundbait works feeding in a similar fashion, but in my opinion, only in very shallow water, in water above 10-12 inch, I find a lot of the time you have to put too much bait in to ensure your hookbait is in the middle of the pile, with little tiny piles of micros, I feel the majoritory of the bait is eaten during getting the bite.
