  • As one of the oldest homes in Victoria, Point Ellice House Museum and Gardens has no shortage of ghostly and unexplained encounters….lights turning on by themselves, mysterious noises, and full body apparitions - to name a few! In October 2020, we invited the Beyond Belief Paranormal Events Society to investigate the house and the surrounding property. What they found might send shivers down your spine!

    Fascinating. And I sure liked the respectful manner the team members used while addressing the discarnate people. Very professional. Thank you all for this.

    Thank you. Beautiful house! I can't wait for Covid to be over. I'd love to come say hi to the spirits some time. 🙂

    my ghost experience was in Point Ellice House when I was in elementary school me and my mum made a day trip to Victoria. Point Ellice House was the first stop but because I was so excited we ended up getting there before it was open. one of the ladies who worked there said we could go in and she got us set up with the discmans with the tour on it. we started going through it but just after the kitchen my mums discman stopped working so we went back to the start and she went to find someone while I waited for her. just after she left there was like a heavy footstep on the wood flooring that was in the hall just past the kitchen that I couldn't see from the servants entrance. I said hello? and there was no response I just sort of ignored it. a few seconds later there was a few more of the heavy footsteps on wooden floorboards I walked down this time so I could see down the hallway and said hello again no one was there. It wasn't just creaking of the house or anything it was properly unmistakable foot steps. and while I did know about the supposed ghost sightings and things at the time I was a firm disbeliever in anything paranormal. I have no other explanation except for that it must have been a ghost.

    I love these videos so much. I forget the name of the person I met at the house years ago but I hope she is still involved. Thank you to everyone for helping preserve our local history as dark as it can be.

    How do they do the glass trick??

    • @dawnkirkham
      @dawnkirkham 3 роки тому +2

      It’s not a trick and no-one was pushing the glass. There are differing opinions as to the phenomena and how it works. For some it is the ideomotor effect which means minute movements of the fingers signalled from the brain that makes it move. For me that does not work as an explanation. The glass does not always move and if it was the ideomotor effect - it would always move. I believe there is a relationship between spirit and those around the table which creates enough energy to move the glass. As a medium I also have the added benefit of making a connection to spirit clairvoyantly and clairsentiently. And when you establish a way to define a yes and no answer you can create a dialogue with the spirit in question.

    One of the members begins to push the glass, perhaps unintentionally. Please periodically take turns removing your fingers while it’s moving.
