Nice video and soundtrack! Does the Bhanger truck feel quicker and /or more effective than a Poppy? Do you prefer the Bhanger or Poppy if you consider only the fun-factor?

The Bhanger has a surfier turn, sharper but not quite as much of a dive as the Bennett. I would definitely spend more time on this kind of truck, Poppy's are nice too just not quite as turny!!

how stable is it compared to poppy front? twitchy on hills? I have a poppy and am considering something different for a new setup. does the kingpin get caught on things?

It's about as twitchy as a Bennett, if you occasionally want to bomb hills you're better off with the Poppy.
And yes, Kingpin bite is as much of a problem as it is with Bennetts, I ride 85mm Speedvents so that's not much of a problem for me.
It turns extremely sharp, I was underestimating it at first and when I carved down a larger hill a few days ago I accidentally started sliding, which was pretty damn scary because I didn't expect something like this to happen with my setup (Subsonic Illuminati + Delirium rear) but it was controllable and luckily nothing happened. Don't carve too hard on this baby.

how is the vibration damping? back then I probably made a mistake by going full spherical poppys for my LDP setup, because by now, the front spherical bearing is really worn out and its rattling a lot, kinda kills the surfy feeling of pumping for me (running 3dm 72A avila because I like it plush!!).

It's nice, I use a riptide pivot cup, its quiet and gives a little cush. If your spherical isn't too blown out you might be able to machine it a little and re-do the ball? If you have a machinist buddy -or maybe Dan will have a solution?

pavedwave nice, sounds great! the bhangers come with stock riptide pivot, right? guess its not only the pivot, but the hanger is also essentially resting on soft bushings!
I tend to split the 80A barrel riptides in my front poppy SP, think this might be better with the bhangers too!
also Im not the biggest fan of the hypersensitive poppy lean to turn around 0 lean when you push. i often ride regular longboards too and Im always stumbling over this excessive sensitivity & precision of the poppy sp front when I go back to ldp. I can imagine there is a lot more slop in the bhangers around 0 lean when pushing?

I guess the Bhangers are front only?

Yep it's a front truck, works great with the Don't Trip rear!
