Great comparison of all the clips! Just as you shown, I've found the larger the tip the deeper the sound is. Your 7" and 5" tips sounded almost the same. Now you should do a comparison of the same sized rolled edge vs. straight cut tip.
@@camielee6583 - sorry about your luck, I'm fairly certain you will not have that truck sound as good as this one! 😄 There are lots of awesome sounding exhaust for Ford's though! When you make some changes to your exhaust you should post a video? Maybe before and after would be a good suggestion! It's just my humble opinion, nothing quite sounds as good as a Cummins banging and clanging away! Lol
The 7-in sounded like a big fart every time you revved it up. I think it's due to the fact that it's got that rolled edge. The turn down tip sounded much smoother.
Well sounds like a tip does change tone. The straight pipe to me sounds like the turbo comes through a bit more. Erry body and their momma loves a turbo whistle.
They do especially noticeable at idle. Let it idle. Push the tip on. Take it off you’ll notice. Do it with a bigger one. And so on and so one. Yk? It makes a difference
@@michaeljohnson9079 no actually as long as you have the like k&n style Filter without a filter box itll be loud I had the factory rubber hose I just removed the factory box and filter and slapped a k&n on it
@@floridafenceland1137 that's a good idea.have you ever heard of drilling holes in your factory air filter box.what do you think would it help anything?
It’s only got an intake horn, straight pipe and lift pump, i also have a boost cooler which did increase smoke but I don’t know if it was on during this video or not
Ok. Sounds like a 12v but it's a nice truck man. I'm trying to figure out how I wanna run my exhaust on my 97 12v. Stacks or what. Right now it's running out in front of the rear tire. And it's just a pipe no tip. It's a nv4500 so it already sounds like a big rig rowing threw the gears hahaha. But yeah thanks for showing the comparison on the different types and at the end showing them all together I really didnt realise how much of a difference it made.
The tip that was on the truck first, to me, looks and sounds the best.
It does sound good and look good, but it was so loud while towing on the highway it just gets old lol but I like the new one too!
Same
Sounds & looks soo good
Thanks baby! 😻
Just stumbled across your channel today
And I do not regret it
1984 chevy c30 Thanjs man!
Sounds much better I can definitely hear a difference
Me too I like it
Finally a legit comparison
I was waiting for it too loo
4 to 7 the 4straight you can really tell difference the 7in tip give it that deep power sound that everyone loves
For sure, kinda like the stereo typical sound from a Cummins

If I come accross one I will! Right now I don’t have one unfortunately!
I like the 4" straight. All sounds great tho
Yes sir I think so too
The 7 inch tip hands down. Thanks for posting this video!
love them damn 5.9s man
Hard to beat em!
They definitely change the tone of the exhaust
I can tell a difference!
I want my truck to sound that good
Soon dude!
What do you have?
Mr. Brown 2014 platinum f350

Love all of them but the one it came with sounded better
Yeah hard to hate on a Cummins sound
How that exhaust tip will look on a Nissan frontier what you guys think 2019 King cab
No tip and turn down sound nicer in my opinion but im just into the more subtle sounds of diesel
Have you done any other mods to your truck ? Because I like how the spool of the turbo is louder
What turbo is that? I love the quick spool up
Yes i do hear the difference
Which ones the quietest in the cab though?
Turn down for sure
Great video
Thanks man!
I feel like I can hear the turbo more
4:55 so basically you like it long and big ok..
You know it daddy
Now some stacks 😂
Let’s see some footage of that obs.
That’s a customers truck I put a lift kit on for him
The Diesel Ranch aw
I could film it before it leaves I just don’t know what to film about it lol just stock with a lift
The Diesel Ranch every obs is worth filming lol
I can agree on that! Lol
Is that a 12v or a 24v?
What is all done to that 24v ? How did you get that much smoke out of a 24 ?
Straight pipe, intake horn, stock intake box, boost fooler, that’s all it’s basically stock
They do especially noticeable at idle. Let it idle. Push the tip on. Take it off you’ll notice. Do it with a bigger one. And so on and so one. Yk? It makes a difference
How long was the 7” tip?
I think it was 12 inches
It makes difference, however it is very very small.
For sure
Sounds great. I'm not a fan of the black smoke. Just my opinion.
Me either, just happens when you rev the truck, it’s bone stock
I love it
Thank you!
Got a video of that 7.3?
I could get one, it’s a bit different now as well
Just got a 99 3500 cummins can't wait to do my exhaust I want to do a 5" with a 8" dump tip
Not bad
How did you get the turbo sound like that
Open cone air filter and turbo silencer ring removed
@@floridafenceland1137 thank you so you mean a full air intake system? If so which brand did you go with

I mean yeah that might make it louder but k&ns are like $50 and it’ll flow better and give you the noise
Sexy truck and a sexy polluter 👍😋😄, unfortunately we in germany can not drive such a smoking truck 😫
What ya got done to it? Lol my 01 doesn’t smoke near as bad
It’s only got an intake horn, straight pipe and lift pump, i also have a boost cooler which did increase smoke but I don’t know if it was on during this video or not
Where did you get the turn down tip
Amazon bud, I still Got it if You want it
The Diesel Ranch how much? What size is it again
It’s a 4-5 inch and 40$
What tuner do you have on your truck?
Nothing at all man
Did you changed the exhaust manifold?
No sir all factory
It sounds so badass. How can i make my turbo spool sound like yours? I can barely hear it on the exhaust tip. I have a 5” to 8” exhaust.
Did you take the silencer ring out of the turbo?
The Diesel Ranch yes. Intake, heater delete and air horn replaced. Yet my turbo doest want to whistle. I can only hear ir from the cab at high RPMs.
Alejandro R.R. OMG ME TOO!!! I have a 5” to a 7” on my 01’ 24v and i can’t hear the turbo at all through the exhaust
12v or 24v?
24v

Cummins sound the best no matter tip
They do sound good!
Gained a sub
Thank you
How u get it to blow black smoke
It’s all stock, it has a straight pipe, intake, and a boost fooler but that’s all that’s done to it
Was that a 6.7 or 5.9
First :)
Thanks!
