O boy where didn't I lol. one of the large ones Is a drawer container system I got from a 2nd had store. I have another larger container like that I got from Walmart. Small tic-tac containers are from amazon. Larger tic-tac containers are from Aliexpress. The fabric cubes are from dollar tree. The jewelry book is from amazon. small 4 connected containers are from amazon. I have sense also added new containers from Temu and looking at a few more on Aliexpress.
I just recently started diamond painting and have looked and looked for videos on what to do (not storage) or different ways to use left over drills. I've used a few on my nails and a few on other craft projects but I need some other ideas, please.
If your talking about how to kit up I'm going to make a video on that. If you talking about ways to use let over drills I don't have much suggestions sadly. I'm not into blinging out stuff. Guessing you could use them and some double side tape or some glue on the back of a phone case. You would want to try it on a case you don't care about. You also would most likely want to seal it.
@@DP_BewitchedKat no there are tons of videos out about how to kit up and storage ideas, I mean what to use the left over drill for. So now I'm wondering if you don't use the left over drills for something, why keep them?
@@debbiewoten9403 A lot of people keep them incase they don't have enough to finish a painting (some times they don't give you enough drills or a cat knocks them over lol) or to do there own painting with. I believe most videos that are Heaven and Earth Designs are using extra drills
I got them from a Esty shop and printed them at office max on sticker paper. That sat with a scalpel and ruler lightly cutting them so I cut the stickers and not the back paper lol. Lot of work when you can buy labels for the DMC colors most places. Then the index card I also just used normal index cards and cut the tap parts out myself lmao.
I open all my canvases when I get them and I store them in the round containers. Can I ask what size are the baggies that you used in the large card index box please. I like the size better than the ones I have at the moment.
Thanks for doing this video. Im currently experimenting with both the storage and the system I like best while DP. I just ordered one of those baseball card holder binders and thought since it has 500 slots i would store leftovers in it. Not really sure how thats going to workout...I did get the pre-printed DMC labels to use with it. Have you any experiences with this storage option (baseball card binder) for storing your left over drills?
I think I'd go with the baseball card size bags and storage box. The card binder would just get way to bulky to quickly IMO. I use a binder like that for working on paintings and the larger paintings just make the binder not feasible.
Incase I get a painting that's missing or low on a quantity of drills. If i want to change a color out on a painting. And finely when I have enough I can do a custom on a black canvas and just use left over drills
I got it at a 2nd hand store. Its a rack of containers with lids. I believe when I tried finding it online to buy more I found they didn't make them anymore. The container though is very much like if not the same as Clear Scrapbook Case by Simply Tidy at Michaels, Snap-Top Scrapbook Case at Hobby Lobby or Essentials 12x12 Scrapbook Storage Box at Walmart.

@@DP_BewitchedKat LoL! I do have a cat so I know what you mean there. Thanks for the response.
Thank you for sharing. Where did you get the small clear binder you showed near the end?
Amazon but they also have them on temu. If you look up jewelry storage book you should find them. Thank you for watching
I really like the one with the index cards with the color label, where did you get the color labels from?

@@DP_BewitchedKat thanks, I understand the lot of work. I did some of my own on black and white but I love all the colors. LOL!

2.5 x 3.5 or 3 x 4.
The 3 x 4 is the ones in the index shelf.
@@DP_BewitchedKat I have 2.5x3.5 at the moment so I will buy the 3x4.
Thank you :)

How do I know which colors match other paintings by the ID no?
The paints ID goes on the container. Most canvases also have the DMC number on them and that also goes on the container
Why do you save the drill’s from competed paintings?
Incase I get a painting that's missing or low on a quantity of drills. If i want to change a color out on a painting. And finely when I have enough I can do a custom on a black canvas and just use left over drills
Where did you get the dmc coloured stickers?
I think temu. Just search dmc stickers. There like $2 on temu or $5 on amazon.
Where did you get the large box with the tic tac containers?

The container though is very much like if not the same as Clear Scrapbook Case by Simply Tidy at Michaels, Snap-Top Scrapbook Case at Hobby Lobby or Essentials 12x12 Scrapbook Storage Box at Walmart.
@@DP_BewitchedKat thank you. Right now all my extra drills are in bags thrown in shoe boxes so I'm trying to find a way to organize them.
