Are these power limited at all? I'm building a bike very similar to the CS20, but should be capable of 12.6 KW @ 150A. I went with the 3.5T motor so I'm afraid it won't be as capable off-road, even though it is a dual sport build. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated as it's my first build. Great content!
I don’t believe these bikes are limited at all. They do have safety features but that’s about it. The two bikes are pretty capable off-road so I’m sure your build will do fine🔥

@@ecrew_vp I'm excited to get it built! It's based off the CAB Eagle chassis. My plan is to document it on the channel since there aren't a ton of videos on the full DIY kits from NB Power.
I also have a built C5 Corvette, so it'll be fun to test them head to head. At least to 40ish lol

Personnally I prefer a 5T. I don't want to ride at 100km/h. I want quick start with a lot of torque. I want to do wheelies.
I don’t get why people still buy hub motor bikes when mid drive bikes like the sur ron are so much better
I love mid drive bikes. The only problem is that they are expensive. Off road a surron is better hands down. However, for less money than a surron you can get a hub motor bike like these that are still decent off road, have more range, and are faster.
Hub quieter and has pedals I’m not off-roading so why should I get a surron? And 10k watts is more than enough to worry about hills.. 🤷♂️
You sound stupid, there are more hub motors e-bikes than mid drive out there for sure 💯
Mid Drives are loud and obnoxious sounding. Plus Hub Bike are easier maintenance and less issues. Some people don't care about wheelies or insane toque, and more into ride quality.

A quick vehicle means it it accelerates from 0 mph/kph fast but doesnt have the top end speed vs a fast vehicle having the opposite, no low end speed but all the high end speed. They both have their place. Most of the time, im taking a quick bike over a fast bike. Very rarely do you actually use the full potential of a fast bike, thus you learn more and have mofe fun on a quick bike in my opinion.
The SB Thunder R/T definitely has the fun factor!

@@ecrew_vp I think I found one. Alibaba has pretty much the same bike for around 2200 delivered. I just need to figure out what motor to get. 5000, 8000 or 12000.

what about if u program a sine wave controller to increase ur top speed as well of 5t motor by increasing rpm?
E-STRAPZ actually sends the bikes with a programing cable too so I might be able to test that out. Thanks!
They sell a 200amp controller instead of the 150amp sometimes you can unlock a 150 and run 200 though just depends what you got exactly
Top speed is directly determined by voltage
Yeah those are both more so e dirt bikes rather than e bikes it does seem like a hybrid because of that speed it has but still more of a off roading dirt trail kind of e bike in my opinion on.

Definitely! The difference between the 3.5T motor and the 5T motor is huge.
I dont care as much about the power, as you can order these bikes with different motors and controllers. I really want to know how the chassis compare.

im thinking of buying a bike from estrapz, but i want to be able to pop the front wheel up. do you know which bike they sell has most torque? seemed like the mx had 0 torque

Yup! And wheel size, but I didn’t include that in the video. The MX has a 17inch wheel and the RT has a 19 inch wheel.
