Lexus is arguably the best of the best car luxury ride quality and it rarely if ever breaks. Super hi resale value years and years. Ls is the best Sadan hands down
It is a little dated and I am not a Lexus fan at all but in all honesty LS500 is a bargain compare to German competitors that are almost 30-40k more expensive. Even a new G90 is 100k.
@@naveenthemachinethe LS is the only car in the segment priced reasonably and built to last. I’m not saying built to last in terms of reliability but rather gimmick free. You look at genesis and all the German competitors, 80% of the features in the car will be worthless technology wise in 5 years and that’s it’s main selling point. That’s why more journalists are getting in these cars and saying “who tf even asked for this feature”. The hyper screens, LCD instrument dials, AI seat adjustments are all gimmicks that add 0 value to the car. Also, you and journalists can say how the G90 is worth it any day of the week but truth is the car doesn’t really sell well. The brand value isn’t past the point where it can sell a 100k car and not be labeled as “it’s still just a Hyundai”.
@@sueddo2634 built to last isn’t relevant in this space. If it were the LS would be the best selling full size luxury sedan. Except it’s not. Because reliability doesn’t matter
Don't forget that the Lexus LS 500 is also built in Japan. That right there should take care of the competitors! It will be around for a very long time, and hopefully exceeding 500,000 - 1+ million miles!! Built in Japan!
I agree , I want to like this car so bad, but every time I see the interior, it's a huge letdown. It's so boring and lack luster compared to the Germans.
My 13' GS350 F-Sport has subtle white ambient lighting all over. This probably does too in the door cards and center console but doesn't show up well on camera bc it dims when u put in drive. Lexus tends be more subtle luxury instead of flashy like the Germans.
@@Coupe-sy9nk Once you actually drive this car, you'll see that it doesn't need that. It is full of Japanese aesthetics. "Wabi sabi" does not need ambient light.
@bot-zo4hv I currently have a 2020 Gs 350 Fsport and Es 350 ultra luxury. I've not only driven the Ls on multiple occasions but was offered for the weekend by my local lexus dealer. So, I appreciate your concern about my comment. Like I said initially it's interior is boring and isn't any more exciting than my other two, which are 30k and 20k cheaper.

@@torsung81 sure It’s not that attractive, it’s not that luxurious, interior looks dated, tech is awful, backseat space is small. In fast it’s more cramped than the accord. Trunks small. @@naveenthemachinelol G90😂, but I know what you mean. Problem is LS model cycle is way off compared to rivals like S-Class, 7-Series, and since you’ve mentioned it, G90. S and 7 typically gets redesign between first quarter of the decade, while LS is about 3~4 years off, typically when all the rivals get major refresh or complete redesign. LS500 wounded up in a tough spot because rivals had major refresh and tech updates around 2017~2019, and they had to wait +2 years to catch up again. No ambient lighting in a 2023 flagship luxury vehicle? Absolutely ridiculous

Would get an older LS model like LS400 or LS430, those are real luxury. Newer Lexus models seem to lost their way from their roots.
