The wall with the omnibus looks great, clean, neat and minimal. Top notch. I had a big Jem mint style collection.. after watching your vid I realize that I needed to purge my collection and get it back to what matters and what means the most. Sold down heaps of my collection and got it down to a small clean collection. Don’t go crazy with your collection, it’s looking dope. Nice style.
You would be better off spending any extra money on getting some Uv protection for your books etc.
Appreciate that! Yeah, I definitely have a preferred style when it comes to collecting. Happy that it resonates with some people like yourself.
Yeah, I realized I don't need EVERY omnibus. There are plenty enough that do interest me so I certainly don't need to be picking up the ones that don't.
When you said "every single book I own I have read" I immediately decided to subscribe. Love the collecting aspect, I am a collector myself, but I really love when you can comment on everything in your collection. I read basically everything I buy as well. I think that is awesome and I look forward to watching your videos!

It's weird I'm jealous of your shadowland omnibus even though I hate that storyline. But I just want daredevil completed 😅
Ha! It is this just...messy storyline that acts as an interlude to so many consistently great runs. I'm looking forward to the Soule omnibus coming out, haven't read any of that material yet!

Nice brother I would agree with most of your pics some I dot have in my collection just yet. As to that Dark Phoenix yea it double dips. It's more or less a event omni if you want to read the whole event in one shot with tie ins. Marvel needs to bring that Dazzler Omni already.
Yeah and they're making another Phoenix-focused omnibus next year! That will also probably have a ton of double-dipping, I'll likely pass on it.
But yes! I'm all for a Dazzler omnibus even though I just picked up the two MMW's lol. A really fun character.
@@OmnibusRyan Yea that Phoenix omni is a rebrand of the omni you have it has the same content. DC needs to get on the ball and start pumping out omnis everyone is waiting for. Crisis on infinite earths. A Deluxe of Invasion, Armageddon theres so many events they can do hell Crisis would be 3 omnis to do it right and that's going by the box set they had a little bit ago.

Great collection! Just out of curiosity, what's the reason you don't seem to be reading any other publishers but Marvel? Like DC, Image, Dark Horse, Boom! Studios etc? Or you read them but just don't collect them like you do with Marvel.
Thank you! I'd love to get more into DC at some point but it really just comes down to money, haha. There are a lot of Marvel series I collect and Marvel releases omnibi really often. I'm sure I'll break into DC at some point, though. I'm such a DC newbie though too - so I'm always open to hearing reccs for good starting points!
I do have a few Image titles, I just keep them on another bookshelf I forgot to show because it's in my living room. Stuff like Invincible, TWD, Criminals, Saga, etc!
@@OmnibusRyan with DC, whatever character you choose to start with, I feel like the new 52 (started in 2011 until 2016) is a good jumping on point. That's how I got into DC a few years back, and it's the easiest because it was a big relaunch of all of the DC universe/titles. Idk why but I feel like you'll really love Justice League Dark by Peter Milligan (the omnibus came out recently too) and Doom Patrol by Grant Morrison (which is also already collected in an omnibus). And I don't read much of Dark Horse and Boom comics but I'd still recommend reading The Umbrella Academy and Lady Killer from Dark Horse and Something Is killing The Children from Boom (the deluxe edition recently came out)

I get asked this every once in awhile...I 98% of the time do Marvel. Not because I don't want to dive into the other companies but the budget really only allows the Marvel pick ups for now. I have a few Image books and a few Junji Ito horror as well though and I did want to highlight some of them in future videos (I have another comic shelf in another room lol).

Thanks! The shelves are the Better Homes and Gardens Cube organized shelves from Amazon - super sturdy but they mess up the color of shelf you order like every time lol. Mine was supposed to be black but instead I got the “tobacco” color delivered. Still looks good to me so I didn’t return it but it seems like it’s a consistent problem with the distribution on Amazon. Just wanted to flag that, definitely still wonderful for holding the weight of omnis!

does it bother anyone else that everything is in a nice alphabetical order, then for no reason the Ultimates and the Venomnibus are just randomly thrown in there. But good video
I don’t know if it’ll make you feel better or worse but I’ve completely gotten rid of the alphabetical organization. I do it based on characters/teams now and put my favorites on the top shelves.

I’ve recently added some! Animal Man, Doom Patrol, New Teen Titans, Harley Quinn and some more on the shopping list!

I actually do have a few! Just on a separate shelf downstairs, don’t know why I didn’t show off. Mostly image stuff, though. Only DC thing I have, I think, is Watchmen.
@@OmnibusRyan Can you give me some advice on how to collect Marvel comics? I’m currently collecting the Ultimate Graphic Novel Collection but there are so many holes in the plot. I just want to be able to read the entire modern Marvel story, more or less. The most crucial arcs. I’ve tried going on websites like comic book herald and it’s just so confusing to get my head around. Also really expensive. How do most people collect comics?
